Vironica stepped out of the stair well breathing a little heavily, having just taken goodness knows how many flights down into the bowels of the Headquarters. She'd lost count after a while, concentrating more so on worrying if she'd even be able to get into the labs. Late last night she had checked her email to discover a notice that the labs would be closed today and that access would be denied. This had brought out a loud stream of curses from Vironica, who hardly lost her temper, due to the fact that she had left some of her notes down in the biology labs the night before. Not that they were important, but they listed some of the research studies that Vironica was greatly interested in looking into.

As she turned around the corner, she nearly ran right into the girl with the white, afro-like hair. Instantly, her hands went out to stabilize both herself and the other girl. "I'm terribly sorry!" She gave Nyx an apologetic smile, then sighed. "I take it that there really is no way to get into any of the labs?" Of course that would be her luck.

Vironica gave a slow, soft sigh; if the labs that were scheduled to be closed were already inaccessible, then there was no chance she'd be getting her notes until tomorrow. The fact that there would be extra work involved didn't bother her; she liked work after all.

Recognizing the tone in the other girl's voice, a small chuckle came from her. "It appears we're in the same situation. Do you have anything planned then?" Vironica had nothing in mind; there were no new journals that interested her, her plants were in no need of any real care, and there was nothing of interest to be done in town as far as she was concerned.

Dianthus pushed the stairwell door open with his vines and wandered up behind his human. "Saaaur?" The small, shiny pokemon looked up at Vironica and her companion.

"Aside from certain documentaries, I really don't much television so I have no idea what the show is that you just mentioned." Gesturing past Nyx to the hall with a long hand, Vironica sighed, a small look of annoyance on her face. "And being currently locked out of what was planned to be done today has thrown a kink into my plans."

Straightening her shirt, she brushed some of her long bangs out of her eyes and hooked it over her ears. "Perhaps I have some errand to run, but nothing is coming to mind." This was frustrating, not having anything to do, since usually her days were so carefully planned out. However her irritation melted away when the black and white Pichu latched onto Nyx's leg. "He seems quite shy."

"Bul?" Dianthus tilted his head a little, his vines shrinking back into the bulb on his back. Was he really that scary to the little electric pokemon?

Eyes instantly getting wide, Vironica felt heat creep onto her cheeks in embarrassment. "Oh my, I'm sorry, my name is Vironica." Instantly, she reached out to shake Nyx's hand. "And, if you're interested in a bit of a drive, I know a lovely tea shop in Jinko we could visit." She was more than happy to sit down with a fellow scientist and pick their mind. In fact, it was a bit of an interest of hers, knowing what another's opinion was.

The bulba gently nudged at Vironica's leg. "Bulbasaur." Her grumbled a little; he wanted an introduction too!

Vironica laughed a little. "Oh, and please allow me to introduce you to Dianthus." The instant his name was said, a vine came out to shake Nyx's hand.

"Bulba!" After a good shake, the vine retreated back to Dianthus' bulb and the pokemon gave both the trainer and her shy pichu a smile. He then looked up at Vironica, wondering if she would be taking him with her to the tea house; she probably would, she took him everywhere with her.

"Oh absolutely! We should change and get going soon." Pulling her lab coat sleeve back and checking her watch, she frowned a little. "If we hurry, we may be able to make it in time for lunch. They do serve the best little meals to go with the tea."

Turning to walk back to the elevator, since there was no possible way she would take those stairs back up, she pushed the button to summon the elevator cab. "So shall we meet at the garage then? And will you be bringing Tesla with you? The more the merrier, as the saying goes."

Vironica stood at the entrance of the garage, waiting for her human companion to join up with her. In the time that it had taken Nyx to get down to the garage, Vironica had stopped at her room (or rather what looked like an indoor jungle with how many plants she had growing in that small room) and changed into a more casual wear, then made her way to the garage and signed out a car. Now, instead of her uniform and lab coat, she was wearing a long, simple khaki-colored skirt and a ruffled, dark brown button up blouse. Her hair fell in a long, thick braid all the way down past her knees, something that would shock most people since she kept it up in a bun while she worked.

The instant Nyx came into view, Vironica's face broke out into a warm, welcoming smile before she fished into her purse and pulled out a hand full of pokeblock. "Here, would Tesla like some? They're a little on the sweet side, since Dianthus seems to prefer them that way. He might find them a little more delicious than your hair ribbon."

Dianthus was next to his trainer, holding several of the same pokeblock in his vines as he munched happily on the snack. "Bulba, bulbasaur!"

With a soft click, the rear door on the driver's side was opened as Vironica let Dianthus into the car. Normally, the pokemon sat in the passenger seat when Vironica took a car, but being the gentleman he was he would settle and let the ladies sit in the front. Besides, he had a friend to make now! Settling himself into the seat, he looked over to Tesla. [Are you going to be drinking the tea there too?] He asked his companion curiously as the door shut behind him.

Tossing her long braid over her shoulder, Vironica slid into the driver's seat and turned the key in the ignition. Once the engine started, she turned to look at Nyx and shrugged a little. "Well, given the roads to get there, it won't be too long of a drive, but for the most part it'll be boring and flat." Putting the car into drive, she headed them out into the desert, checking the direction she was going.

"Feel free to adjust the air conditioning to your liking... and do you like classical music?"
