 Taima woke up in the afternoon heat. His father and mother were still sleeping in the den they all shared, his sister was out he noticed. He stretched, yawned and made his way out the den. It was fine in the Oasis, but something made him want to explore. Tai scanned the area, noting the water and Shakaiyo playing. Shaking his head, No that's not what I want to do today.
He looked to the forest in the distance and his eyes grew big, with a glint, a smile spread across his face, "Now that is where I want to go." He lifted his paw and stepped towards the forest, his ear perked and tail waving excitedly.

Kiva strolled about, he never did like to stay in one place for very long. At the moment the forest was 'home' for a while, but he still liked to go and check out the world beyond the trees, today was such a day. He wandered about a mile away from the security of the dense trees and he felt a pang as he already missed the soft earth smell of the undergrowth and foliage, the sounds too seems less out here. Suddenly out of the corner of his eye he spotted a flash of blue and... yellow? *strange* he thought and decided to take a look, his own bright colouring standing out among the scenery.

Taima looked around the area. He was out and about on his own and took in everything that was around him. The feather in his ear waved gently with his movements, then something caught his eye. In the lightly wooded forest part, he thought he seen something red go by. He didn't think much about it and continued on his way to a creek to cool his paws off.

Kiva smiled, he'd decided to creep up on whatever the flash of colour had been, he'd slipped back into the trees, he glimpsed bits of colours as he moved through them. As he got closer the flashes showed themselves to be a Shakaiyo. A male, with a feather earring that kept flashing in the sunlight. He decided to emerge from the dense wooded area and out into the sunshine himself "Helo there!" he called out to the other

Taima jumped at the sound of another voice. He turned and found that flash of color he though was his imagination. "Well hello." He inclined his head to the yellow/orange male. Tai walked out of the water and sat at the bank, "Are you from here? By the way, my name is Taima."
