The world seemed to slow down around Daichi as he went through the motions of his training, his shirtless body drenched in sweat as he struck at imaginary opponents, dodged unseen attacks, and left a path of figurative devastation as wave after wave of scenarios with which an opponent could strike flooded his mind. For a minuet he thought that there really was a wave an opponent, so deep in his training trance he was. Eventually he stopped and simply stood, calming himself.

Whenever he wasn't with his fellow Vizards or meditating in his room, he could be found down here, training, sharpening his abilities. Slowly Daichi made his way over to the pond in the corner of the massive room and knelt by it, splashing water in his face. He wore only a loose pair of comfortable pants, his usual training attire, and sat there for a while, thinking to himself.

Daichi had felt Kai's presence as she approached him, but made no movement, as it was obvious who it was and that she meant him no harm. "I take it you would like to train?" Daichi said softly after a few moments. "Or did you need something from me?" Slowly he turned to face the leader of the Vizards.

She seemed to be on edge, though he supposed that was her natural paranoia showing itself as it tended to do. He observed her silently as he waited for a response, his hand taking hold of the sheathed blade that lay next to him on the ground, just incase she did want to train with him. Training sessions between Vizards had shown a trend of getting very intense, especially when they were between two high ranking ones like Kai and Daichi.

"Well, it's much better then punching and slicing at the air, and I've needed a sparing partner that could keep up with me." Daichi said as he stood and took hold of his Zanpakuto. "So yes, I would." Daichi wasn't usually as... outspoken as he was now, but with Kai he felt less inclined to be the person he had gained a reputation as, cold and quiet, and show his more outspoken side, even if just a little bit.

"Just don't be surprised if I get a little into the training, Zansatsu has a way of getting my blood pumping when I fight, even if it is a sparing match." he said as he stretched slightly. Daichi's mind raced back to the many training sessions he held back as a Captain with his officers, where he would push them to their breaking points, and even a little farther, sometimes as a result of his battle-hungry Zanpakuto's influence.

Daichi let lose a soft chuckle as Kai began teasing him about being able to keep up and hold his own. "Oh, I don't know, this old man still has some old tricks up his sleeves." Daichi said, referring to the fact that of all the Vizards, he was the oldest, though Kai had been a Vizard longer then Daichi, making them about matched, give or take a bit.

Daichi felt comforted by the playful way that Kai treated him, it reminded him that he was amongst family, albeit a very strange family. "Oh trust me, the thought hadn't crossed my mind." he said with a small smile. He knew far better not to underestimate any opponent, least of all Kai, who was just as powerful, if not a little more so then him.

Daichi watched carefully as Kai unsheathed her blade in preperation before unsheathing his own blade. By means of length, Zansatsu was a monster compared to most blades, which average around twenty-four inches long, where as Daichi's was fifty, making it a full-fledged odachi. Ordinarily such a sword would be difficult to be wield, even two-handed, but due to Daichi incredible strength, he wielded it with ease.

Taking his huge blade and taking his stance Daichi took a single preparatory breath before he charged viciously at Kai, raising the huge blade above his head and arcing it downward in a strike. Best to start with the basics in a spar before deciding to try anything to fancy.

Daichi was blasted back by Kai's added spiritual pressure to the push, but instead of falling backward, Daichi fell back with it as did a quick back-flip using the momentum from the blast, landing easily on his feet. "Come on little girl, I wanted to spar not fight a practice dummy." he said with a small smile before he straightened himself and charged the girl again. The time instead of striking, just before he would have been within striking range he performed a sonido and appeared behind Kai.

"You should respect your elders." Daichi chuckled as he quickly lashed out in a horizontal slash with his blade, threatening to create a huge gash across the poor girl's back with the huge serrated blade. Daichi knew secretly that this was just a small warm up, and would be nothing compared to what would happen when they unleashed their shikais.

Daichi raised a brow as Kai disappeared just as his slash had been about to connect, noticing that she in turn had used sonido to dodge his slash, appearing next to him. "Now now, no need to get testy." Daichi replied softly as she prepared to stab him. Dodging would be impossible considering how close she was, so instead Daichi brought the tip of his blade down and circled it upward, forcing Kai's blade to go astray.

Quickly while he had the chance Daichi dipped in low and with his free hand placed his palm against her stomach and muttered softly. "Hado no Ichi, Shō!" A burst of Kido energy blast from his open palm.
