The elric brothers have their bodies back, long after searching. But rest isn't so easily granted. There have been a string of murders of high class business men in the town of yoru deep up north, the gloomiest and rainiest town in the whole continent. But for the elric brothers, things were going to be a little bit different than expected. "Have you ever tried to peer through the crimson tainted glass? Its difficult, hard and near imposable to see the picture. You can shatter the glass, but once you do, you'll see. There's nothing on the other side of the glass.  ~ Edward Elric ~The sound of the pocket watch clicking seemed to ease Edward as he craned his neck once more, trying desperately to see the top shelf. Again, there was no chance he was going to view above the useless helmets on the shelf above his head. With a growl, he looked around before clapping his hands and slamming them on the ground, just beneath his feet. The ground beneath him shot forward until he was level with the top shelf. The owner ran to the aisle and stood in awe as he saw Edward pluck some metal off of the highest shelf. "I'd like to purchase this please," He said, hopping off of the pillar now cutting the aisle in two. Edward chuckeld with a triumphant grin.

Merchant   The merchant looked up from his magazine to see a oung boy with metal in his hands. He got up and looked at the price of the metal and rang it up in the register. "Nice selection. That's the best kind we got. But you sure you got enough money for it kid?" He asked the young blond boy as the price flashed in front of him. It was a small piece of metal, but because of the quality and the scarcity of it was pretty high.

~ Edward Elric ~"I'm sure I can afford it," Edward said, pulling out his wallet and conjuring up the amount, if not a bit over. He took his metal, muttering a thanks to the merchant, before walking out of the store. There was a small, leaky patio that blocked incoming and out-going customers from the rain. Although it was a drizzle, it constantly poured, day and night. Edward looked up towards the smallest spot of light, hoping that he would find a rainbow. There was usually one in the sky. He looked around as a car rushed pass him. Edward gave a grunt and watched the town miserably. It was a beautiful town, though, with ancient buildings that seemed to have age scrawled all over each bulding, though time had not touched anything. The people were all pale due to the lack of sunlight, but each one looked as beautiful as the city. Edward felt out of place. He set out of the store, covering the metal with his cloak to make sure that it wouldn't rust or obtain any damge. He made sure to stay under umberellas and anything that covered him. Edward stopped to peer up at the church. THe bell that signalled the twelfth hour came, sending a bone-chilling ding through the city. Edward just kept walking.

 Akira Lynne Kokoro Sitting up on top of the metallic and gear store, she watched him leave. She has been tailing him all day, and she was sure of it. He was the full metal alchemist. And the other one she saw, the one who called him 'brother'. That was Alphonso elric, who's soul use to be bound to the suit of armor. They were pretty ordinary, she tailed Alphonse for a while, but got board of it. His brother however, was unusual , as were his interests. What would he need a slap of fine metal for? To make a weapon? He started walking away, so she stood and moved quickly. The buildings in her town weren't completely devastated, and were easy to climb. . . if you did it properly. She had to make a move now. Finish the older brother, then the younger one. Then all would be right. She let him walk a few feet ahead of her then when she was sure he wouldn't hear her, she clapped her hands together and slammed them down upon the roof top. Her scyth came up and she snatched it. His back was facing her, his attention towards the sky next to the ally way. Perfect. She tied her dark black hair back and put a baseball cap over it. She put on a black eye mask on good and tight, her heart pounding. No second to lose. She jumped down, scyth in hand and aimed for his back.

~ Edward Elric ~Edward stopped. He could have sworn that he had heard a clap. Perhaps he was going crazy? Edward turned a corner and, from the corner of his eye, spotted his attacker. He lept back, flipping in the air and and rounding off with one hand, since the other was occupied with the metal he had just paid good money on.
"Tch!" Edward looked at his attacker. It looked to be a man, but his figures were incredibly womanly and his face was round, "Who the hell are you?" He stared down at his enemy.

Akira Lynne Kokoro She stared at him, remaining silent. She smiled wickedly, as if to say 'I don't do introductions'. He was very talented, to dodge her attack so easily. She had had only a split second to chance her fall and jump back right to avoid injuring her leg. She eased into a fighting stance, holding her scyth at an angle for her right hand. She lifted her left hand and motioned to him, as if to say 'your move' . She can tell how a person thinks and fights just by the simplest motions. He had jumped back a mere second before her attack, so this kid was no joke. If this ed kid is quick to react, then lust was right. Incredible fighting and alchemist skills. But its only talk, not until the kid puts his money where his mouth is.

~ Edward Elric ~Edward smirked. "So, I guess I'm just gonna have to find out myself," He held up a finger and spent a couple of moments deciphering on where to put his metal. He sighed. "Looks like I'm fighting with this is in my hand." Edward walked over to a fire escape and clapped his hand, touching the rusted metal. He conjured his own spear from the metal. When it was fully out, he tossed it up before jumping into the air and kicking it directly at her. As it flew towards her, he clapped his hands again and slapped the ground, sending a wave of round at Akira.

Akira Lynne Kokoro She watched his movements with utmost focus. His left arms movements were a tad more faster than the right. Her eyes widened as he clapped and conjured alchemy. So it was true, he really didn't need to draw anything. It made her glad, perhaps it would be more interesting. He conjured a spear from the wall and sent it flying towards her. Hm, no time to dodge both his wave attack and the spear. She stood upright and jumped, grabbing the spear with her left hand, jumping up the walls and behind him,kicking his lower backs' main pressure point. Once hit, It'll be more and more difficult for him to fight. She knew exactly where all of the human pressure points were. Next one she would aim for his left arm. She lifted her scyth to strike after she kicked his main pressure point.

~ Edward Elric ~Edward's eyes watched Akira, but he wasn't quick enough to dodge the kick to his back. He turned quickly, clapped, and caught her scythe, transmutating the end into his signature dud weapon. Yanking it out of her hand, Edward pulled Akira along with her weapon and sent a harsh punch square in her face. He toppled a bit, but regained his composure. He stood straight and looked at the metal. It was ruined.
"God dammit!" He cried, looking it over in the bag after tossing her useless scythe aside.

Akira Lynne Kokoro This edward was quick to think on his feet, that's for sure. But she wasn't so easily impressed by a bunch of quick moves. He had gotten her scyth, so she need to think.She felt pain in her face. He punched her, that's the best he can do? As he punched her, she followed the momentum of her body falling, but copied his move from the beginning and used her hand to go backwards and land on her feet gracefully.She wiped the blood from her nose in a whatever manor. She looked at his spear in her hand, the one he threw at her. Her left hands skin was torn, but there was no blood. She sighed. He almost cut through her expensive auto mail arm, not to mention her hand.But it was her fault for having to catch it. Damn kid. The split was from her wrist, all the way up to the top of her middle finger. She touched the skin, pulling it a little from the tear to inspect damage. Didn't he know synthetic skin was expensive, especially the kind that healed slowly? But she didn't have the kind that healed slowly. The hand was ruined, for now. It could be hemmed for a hefty price.. She took hold of the spear and cut of the rest of the synthetic skin from her wrist to her =fingers and dropped it so it wouldn't be damaged anymore. She snapped the spear strait down the middle, dropping them and clapped, slamming down on them. the light flashed and she held two hand held reaper spears. She spotted a broken piece of the road taken out, so she shifted it with her foot, kicked it in the air, leaped and ninja kicked it to his left arms pressure point. Direct hit. She smiled wickedly.

Alphonse Elric had not been with his big brother at the time that he had been buying the expensive metal. Instead he had been sent on the errand to go out and buy some more bread because they had ran out. He started to whistle to himself as he walked down the pathway he heard fighting going on up ahead so he ran the rest of the way to see what was going on. He saw his brother fighting with a strange woman clad in black...and she had hurdled a piece of the road right at him. "BIG BROTHER!!!"

~ Edward Elric ~Edward's eyes went wide as he saw her use alchemy without a transmutation circle. Who was this girl? On top of it all.. "An auto mail arm...?" Alphonse's shriek from the end of the alleyway thwarted Edward's concentration, allowing the piece of road to hit his arm. "Argh!" He faltered, but kept himself up by bending his knees. Holding his limp arm, Edward glared at the unknown enemy. With a great leap of retreat, he turned to his brother. "Al! Stay back! He's an alchemist who can use alchemy without a transmutation circle.." Edward stared Akria down, wondering what her motive was and who the hell she was.

Al didn't understand what was going on. "She doesn't use a transmutation circle? But only you and Teacher can do that!" He didn't want to disobey his brother so he ran off and hid behind a corner so that he wouldn't be harmed in the cross fire. Don't die out there Brother...
