So the 3DS actually looks good! The graphics are pretty godly for a handheld and... OMG IS THAT KINGDOM HEARTS 1?
Kid Icarus comes out with a new game for the 3DS thanks to Pit's popularity on Brawl, I guess. As far as I know, no Pokemon games for it yet.

I am going ballistic now because I now know the name of the best game ever: Legend of Zelda, Skyward Sword for Wii! It's the MotionPlus version of Zelda where you can actually use a bow, throw bombs, and crack a whip! Lots of other new games for the Wii including Metroid: Other M and Pokepark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure.

Pokepark comes out Holiday season 2010. Here's the description from Nintendo:
Nintendo @E3
The first Pokémon adventure game on the Wii console puts Pikachu™ at the center of a fun, expansive world filled with adventure, Attractions and Pokémon. The Rare Pokémon Mew™ summons Pikachu to the PokéPark to find the missing Sky Prism Pieces, leaving it up to Pikachu to save the day!

Features:

  • Playing as Pikachu, players start their adventure at the PokéPark and play a variety of Attractions that are in each Zone with the help of many different Pokémon. As Pikachu, players compete in Skill Games and Attractions in this action-packed adventure.
  • Players interact with and befriend some Pokémon by defeating them in Skill Games. Once players befriend a Pokémon, they can play as them to compete in certain Attractions. Players can compete in the challenges multiple times to try and beat their high score.
  • Players use the Wii Remote™ controller turned sideways to navigate through the PokéPark, while different motion controls are used in the various Attractions and Skill Games.
Players can take photos of their favorite Pokémon in the game and save them to an SD Card (sold separately).

A bunch of pics and a video are at the above site.

For the DS, several titles were announced, including Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs coming out Fall 2010.
Nintendo @E3
The third installment in the action-packed Pokémon Ranger™ series lets players take on the role of a Pokémon Ranger tasked with protecting Pokémon, people and nature in the Oblivia region. As a Pokémon Ranger, players investigate the nefarious actions of the Pokémon Pinchers, who have been disrupting the peace by chasing and catching Pokémon.

Features:

  • As a Pokémon Ranger, players set out to stop the Pokémon Pinchers with the help of their partner, Ukulele Pichu™ (an energetic Pichu that always carries a ukulele).
  • Players use the Capture Styler to circle Pokémon on the touch screen. The further in the story players progress, the more powers and abilities their Capture Styler gains.
  • By drawing special Ranger Signs on the touch screen, players can summon powerful Pokémon that they have befriended to help them progress in the game. Legendary Pokémon like Raikou™, Entei™ and Suicune™ can be summoned by drawing their Ranger Signs.
  • Up to four players can play together on certain missions using the Nintendo DS Local Wireless Connection.

I never knew they were making another Kingdom Hearts game on the Nintendo. All I know is that they are (I guess porting with extra stuff) Kingdom Hearts:Coded (for the cellphone) as Kingdom Hearts Re:coded but now a Kingdom Hearts 3D?

Holy shizzarts I want it. Don't really like the gyroscopic motion sensing watchamuhcalluts. But the graphics are godly and it interestingly has what sounds like an analog stick sort of thing. Too bad they didn't ressurect the GBA slot.

They also released info on several other titles, such as The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Donkey Kong Country Returns

I don't know about you guys, but I am excited! These games look amazing and the 3DS is impressive as well. I'm still waiting for more Pokemon Black & White info, but these updates well make up for it.

Nothing about The Force Unleashed II? I'm a Star Wars nerd.

Nintendo wasn't covering that. Sony covered "The Old Republic" but nothing about Force Unleashed II.

I can't wait to play Donkey Kong Country Returns! When Nintendo sold Rareware, I thought it would never happen. Now that Nintendo stepped up and did it, it is finally time to get back to Monkey Business.

The 3DS is a sexy, sexy piece of tech. Nice and sleek while light and packed with power. The Ocarina of Time Remake has single handedly convinced me to get this thing. And we will wait eagerly for a Pokemon game to wriggle its way to the 3DS.

They can't really resurrect the GBA slot since they'll have a DS slot. Early reports mentioned "Backwards Compatibility", which means 3DS games will have their own type of game cartridge. What it will look like remains to be seen. Still, it would be cool...

Skyward Sword...I must check out these details. I don't have a Wii at this period in time, but still, I'm a Zelda fan, so I must check. And Ocarina of Time Remake!? Finally, a chance experience one of the past classics of the Zelda series. I'm sold, too. Heck, with the WEP/WPA complications I'm having and my desire not to buy a DSi, I was already sold. The Kingdom Hearts 3D game with its PS2 graphics will be awesome. I must look at the links!!!

EDIT: Links checked, Epicness confirmed. Skyward Sword gives me another game that I can say would be the reason to buy a Wii (Aside from SSBB). And the 3DS games look awesome. Based on the screenshots, the graphics are seriously enhanced, making it a perfect rival for the PSP. It even gives you the option of adjusting the 3D amount, so you can have it flat 2D like on the standard DS or DSi, full 3D, or anything in between. I'm sure we all wondered what they would create that would be even more awesome than the DS. Well, we have our answer. I'm not sure what they could do to upgrade the 3DS any further, with graphics on par with the consoles and features that expand on the DSi XL. I think we may have our ultimate Nintendo handheld experience. Now all we need is a price tag and a X-mas release, and we are happy Nerds/Geeks/Whatever-we-may-call-ourselves. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin blaugh blaugh blaugh blaugh blaugh blaugh blaugh blaugh blaugh blaugh

*Sorry for the mass emoticons. My excitement level is through the roof, and I have ADHD. 'Nuff said wink *
