Maia knew the city though many of its inhabitants were sleeping seemed to be getting more dangerous and so she thought it was time to follow the orders given to her and patrol with another and not alone. Tonight she was patroling with Regulus and so far the night seemed to be uneventful. For that Maia was extremely greatful, her hand had only just healed and was not looking forward to respraining it or worse breaking it.
She frowned and looked to Regulus, "Do you think maybe it is too quite or maybe I am just being paranoid. With the coma the silence is unnerving in this area, don't you think?"
She stopped looking aound and pulling at the hem of her skirt. She really wished a criket would chirp and a bird call out in the night air. It would really make her feel more at ease, the silence wasn't comfortable. It just felt so unnatural.

"It's like in a movie when suddenly everyone realizes that everything's gone quiet, and it turns out to be a t-rex or something." Regulus noted, which really wasn't a particularly comforting thing to say, given the circumstances, but he didn't feel like sugar coating what was going through his head, and Maia wasn't as sugar-pastry fragile as her fuku might deceive someone into thinking.
"Maybe it's a Youma?"

"I am so so so, like, so totes offended that you'd even think I was a youma," Fukuchilite called out, "and just for that, I'm gonna have to rip your starseeds out of your bodies." She revealed herself from hiding, to show that she was one pretty hot Negaverser (as if that was out of the ordinary). She had long, silky smooth auburn hair, plump and luscious lips, alabaster skin, defined cheek bones, a nice bust size, and long slender legs. Fukuchilite looked like she could have been a model in her civilian life.
"You stupid scouts had better be sorry that you picked the wrong night and area to patrol," she said, "'cause I only patrol like maybe once every other week!!!" It was almost as if she was trying to brag that she didn't do her job properly.
With that, she dashed towards Maia and jumped into the air with one leg forward, intent on impaling Maia's starseed out with her sharpened high heels.

Maia looked up a little confused as to where the voice was coming from. It seemed that the silence caused not by a youma, but instead by a negaverser. She frowned as the girl revealed herself fore she was so looking forward to a quiet night for once.
As the girl called out, spewing non-sense about not patroling and she couldn't help, but to roll her eyes. Unfortunately in that instant she was attacked.
Maia quickly jumped to the side with ease, her battle usually got very physical and her reflexes were becoming more and more honed. Though she must admit, it was the shortest pre-battle conversation she had ever experienced. She barely made it out of the way in time.
Her temper was already beginning to rise and she was tempted give the girl a kick of her own, but she fought to keep a temper in check.
"You're the one who will be sorry. If you haven't noticed it's two against one. Maybe you could use a math tutor," Maia said very politely, though she was clearly being rather rude and sarcastic.

High heels? Regulus flinched slightly as the Negaverse Lt. attacked, rocking backward as Maia let her sail past. High heels, he had to admit, were technically a slightly more impressive weapon than he expected out of an Nega agent, but then as his civilian identity he had a few reasons to be familiar with them, and know they could cause some really -painful- injuries, just through a pair of shoes. If she actually managed to hit someplace softer, like an eye...
He thought of Moonstone and a chill crawled down his spine on millipede feet.
"First lets give her a lesson in hurt." He snarled, angry at himself for being afraid, turning to step clear of Maia as he raised his hands.
Last time he hadn't been ready for an aggressive opponent, but this time he was determined to be prepared for it, to handle it as well as he could.
"Claws of the Lion!" He fired both fistfulls of 'claws' at the well dressed agent, not particularly feeling guilt over the potential of messing up her stylish uniform. Europa might have had some thoughts over the cloth-shredding potential, however.

Fukuchilite zoomed past Maia, leg stretched out and all, and into a shrub. Like Hitmonlee, her Hi-Jump Kick had kept on going and she crashed. Picking herself up, she pulled a twig out of her cleavage and readjusted her bustline.
"Are you trying to be cute, you little firecrotch?" Fukuchilite's sore spot had been struck-- academics, especially Mathematics, were something she did not excel in when she was younger. "I'm only sorry that, like, I had the displeasure of ever having to lay eyes on your ugly face." She cracked her knuckles and looked over at Regulus as he stood around trying to look tough.
"Real men don't wear what you've got on, so like, I don't understand where this whole machisimo thing is coming from. What a joke!" She had completely disregarded anything the two had said about pain and two-against-one, but she was just that confident in her abilities as a Negaverse agent.
Maybe it's cause she really was powerful, maybe she just had a stupidly large ego. Either way, she was confident.
Fukuchilite dashed in between the two soldiers. Her back to Regulus, while facing Maia. In a swift movement, she thrusted her hips backwards at Regulus with more passion and oomph than Shakira's hips that didn't lie. At the same time, she threw a b***h slap in the vicinity of Maia's face. If all went according to plan, Regulus would be toppled over by her curvaceous curves and she could harvest his starseed while down. Then the ugly little girl could watch and cry, after which Fukuchilite could snatch her's too.
But not all went according to plan. Her hair was singed by Regulus, to which she screamed "you dirty little son of a b***h!!!!!" Her eyes began to tear as the heat creeped its way into her scalp.

Maia gave the girl a very confused look wondering just what on earth a firecrotch could be. It seemed not only was the girl not to skilled in math, but she was none to skilled in english as well.
Maia swore she could feel her IQ level drop with every word that fell from the girl's mouth. It was like nails on a chalkboard and Maia was about to voice this opinion when the girl shouted at the pair and attacked them, attempting to ram Reg and slap Maia, only to cry out in pain as Regulus's attack caugth her hair.
Maia was very tempted to laugh at the pathetic excuse for a negaverser and she shook her head at the girl language. "Your grammar is quite appalling and your vocabulary is highly lacking," she hissed, "Not only have you failed at mathematics, but you have failed to grasp your own language as well. If I were you I would never speak again. Surely your English marks could not suffer any more than they already have."
Usually Maia was not one for taunting, but really the girl was asking for it.
"Sweet Harmony," she called out allowing the beautiful music to fill her and to spill from her lips. She sang loudly watching as the music notes formed in the air and went straight for Fukuchilite.
