What the title says. I mean, see what they did to promote their newest juice line on a Canadian sunrise festival... they built a mother ******** fake sun. If that's not copying Eirin's idea, I don't know what it is. And here's another video.

That's not copying Eirin. It's copying Okuu's Hell's Artificial Sun. What is copying Eirin's fake moon is... Well, have you ever watched the movie, The Truman Show? And you know Eirin's Galaxy/World in a Pot? Well, the Truman Show takes place in an Island in a Pot, complete with fake moon and sun.

Hm. I haven't thought of Okuu's sun before you pointed it out. Still, making an odd-coloured fake luminary that lasted only for a 12-hour night seems more like Eirin's thing to me.
By the way, I've seen The Truman Show only once, and I hardly can remember its plot.

MidBossVyers Think "The Matrix" without shooting stuff. Not in the slightest. The Truman Show is about a man living inside a giant studio, living a life while completely unaware he's being filmed as a reality TV show star. The Matrix is about people being wired into computers to keep their minds occupied and unaware of the fact they're being grown in bubbles to be used as batteries for giant robots, and one man's quest to hack reality.

*Facepalm* Those had to be two of the most pointless posts I've seen in my entire life. You don't just post "OK" and not say anything else. It makes you look like an idiot. This is the kind of stupid s**t I expect to see on a place like YCM, although admittedly this place isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be.
And on this topic as a whole, just no. It has nothing to do with Touhou. ZUN certainly wasn't the first person to think of using a fake sun or moon. Hell, I'm pretty sure FFIV had a fake moon way before Touhou was ever even made. Stupid topic is stupid.

Hmm.......FFIV came out in '91 so.......It does predate IN by at least a few years.
Also, I think Mid-Boss is broken. xD

Miasma Melancholy This is the kind of stupid s**t I expect to see on a place like YCM, this place isn't anywhere near as good as it used to be. If you don't like this place and aren't willing to change it constructively then just leave, sweetheart. Miasma Melancholy this topic [...] has nothing to do with Touhou. ZUN certainly wasn't the first person to think of using a fake sun or moon. Hell, I'm pretty sure FFIV had a fake moon way before Touhou was ever even made. You know, there's this cool new thing called "humour". You should try it every now and then.

There's not much a person could do to change a forum of any kind without being an admin/mod of some sort, and even then you can't change the people in it. Nothing short of banning them anyway.
