As Powerman 5000's 'Heroes and Villains' began to hit the sound system, a heavy blue tint was added to half of the house lights. "Chip off the block? Seems that I'm not, As good as I thought or as bad as you want. The line has been drawn; What side are you on? Try to do it right but everything is wrong
And so I stare at the dregs of the earth; Clear blue skies to the deepest of dirt. With hands stretched out, lookin' pious and pure To the ten padlocks strapped on your front door. ((Well!))"
With Spider One's voice playing through the sound system, Brody stepped out onto the stage, into a solid wall of cheers thrown in his direction. He stopped only a few feet out of the entrance, clearly surprised by the amount of cheering he was given. He stopped in the center of the stage, looking out at the sea of fans staring right at him. After a few moments, he suddenly bashed his right fist against his chest, which was punctuated by a quick bang of fireworks from around the video screen. Throwing the same fist into the air, he gained a quick pop from the fans as he walked forward. He dropped his arm as he reached the ramp, deciding to trade high-fives with the fans instead of milking it.
"From Zanesville Ohio, weighing in a 265 lbs, Brody Robinson!"
Brody stopped at the bottom of the ramp, staring up into the empty ring in front of him, ready for the action to begin. He took another quick look around the arena before walking forward and sliding into the ring. Pushing himself back to his feet, he turned to the corner to his left and stepped up to the second rope. He bashed his fist against his chest once again, this time immediately throwing the fist into the air afterward. Dropping his arm after a few moments, he stepped off of the ropes and turned to the stage, waiting for his opponent to show up.
((Done and Done.))

After moments of... Well, nothing, the lights shut off, leaving the arena in darkness. They momentarily came back in a dim, red hue. 'Revolution' by Crematory began to throughout the arena as the fans waited to see who was coming out.
They'll never stop our will to live Free from pain and fear They cannot bring us down All you're geared, go out and justify... THE REVOLUTION!
Fire shot up off the stage as Matt Shanahan walked out to the stage, greeted by the cheers of the fans, and also the boos of some. He wasn't wearing his normal attire, only wearing a pair of black jeans and his boots. In his right hand, he held his baseball bat, as usual. He began to walk down the ramp, ignoring the fans completely.
A beginning of the age... TO START REVOLUTION! Now break and leave their cage... TIME FOR REVOLUTION! Take those traitors away from us!... LET'S START REVOLUTION! Giving back belief and trust!... SO LIVE THE REVOLUTION!
Shanahan reached the bottom of the ramp, his eyes glaring at Brody. He tossed his bats towards the steps and climbed into the apron, before stepping over the top rope and into the ring. The God of Punks stood in his corner, his blood-shot eyes still not leaving Brody.
"Ladies and gentlemen, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania... Weighin in at 326 pounds, and sizing in at 6'8"... He is 'The God of Punks', Matt Shanahan!"
The fans gave off their mixed reaction as the music faded and the lights became their natural color again. Shanahan continued to stand in his corner, not extremely eager to be in the match.

Brody stared across the ring at Shanahan, not sure what he should do. Matt had the size advantage, something Brody hadn't really had to worry about in the past. The crowd's reaction failed to give him any serious help either. Still, he'd hoped Matt had a somewhat diplomatic side and, in possibly his first dumb move of the match, he walked to the center of the ring and extended his right hand to Shanahan in a sign of tentative respect.

Matt smirked, and decided to play along with Brody. He walked forward and reached his left hand out to shake Brody's... But would swing his right hand in for a huge haymaker at Brody's skull!

Brody's first clue should have been the fact that Matt had offered him the wrong hand, but he was too busy getting hit in the face. He stumbled backwards, completely blindsided by the strike. He didn't make an attempt at a punch of his own, instead trying to shake his head back into working order.

((Oh, I did use the wrong hand... Sorry, I saw right and decided to go with left... ninja ))
As Brody was trying to recooperate, Matt would rush forward and go for a quick clothesline!

((Don't worry about it. Made the moment a bit funnier. smile ))
Brody, having gotten enough of his head back in order, ducked under Matt's charging arm. He spun around, and waited for Matt to do the same. When he did, Brody would try for a punch of his own, going for a right-handed strike to the gut.

Matt was surprised to have missed the clothesline, and turned around... Only to be hit in the gut! He looked at Brody for a moment, and went for a headbutt in retaliation!

There was a fairly audible crack as the two heads collided. Brody immediately recoiled from the shot, and started holding his head to try and prevent a serious headache. At the moment, it wasn't helping.

Matt's head felt the damage from the headbutt... But did he seemed phased by it? Of course not, Tylenol would just be his best friend after the match! After the headbutt, Matt attempted to grab Brody by the head and pull him in for a quick suplex!

Still fairly stunned from the headbutt, Brody was pulled forward and driven into the mat back first. He arched hsi back and twisted a bit from the impact, trying to get himself into a less painful position.

Using the little time Matt took to position himself, Brody covered his face, and took most of Matt's shots to the forearms, while thinking about how badly this one was going.
