User Image "Beautiful." Every morning Hinata couldn't help but feel the same sense of awe as he watched the colors of the sky changing with the rise of the sun above the horizon. He smiled to himself, actually noticing that he must have said the same word a hundred times or so when the same phenomenon occurred every day, although his location and view of it was really the only thing that varied in his routine. Today was another day on the Kabe Ranch and so far he was enjoying the sun rises here. A few days ago, Hinata had come to visit an old cattle rancher that he'd helped to safely ensure the births of twin calves some months ago and had finaly felt the desire to see how the little ones were doing. The rancher had recognized him and had in fact let him visit the youngsters; even they seemed to remember him because the's happily pranced around him before returning to their mother's side. He'd felt content and had decided to spend the rest of the week on the ranch, or at least until he had some other reason to move on.

Spotted ears flicked backwards as he heard the approach of footsteps belonging to a human. Hinata was about to stand and greet the girl that he had learned was the head rancher's granddaughter when he noticed that she had a basket in her hand. "Breakfast for you!" The girl said cheerfully before placing the basket filled with apples right in front of Hinata. The Kuniku wagged his tail and leaned over to lick the child's wrist affectionately before she scampered off, no doubt going to play somewhere in the barn. The yellow male turned to watch her go before he lay down to focus on his meal. He wasn't entirely sure or not if the humans had noticed that fruit was in fact his favorite thing to eat, but he was very happy when his nose was greeted by the faint smell of apples.

Well, she'd brought an awful lot for him to eat, hadn't she? One, two, three... Hinata counted that there were at least ten shiny red apples carefully tucked inside of the basket. He appreciated the gesture behind receiving so much food, but Hinata couldn't help but shake his head at the child's frivolity. Carefully he stuck a paw into the top of the basket to push out an apple and then move it towards himself. "Gods above, thank you for this meal." Only the ritual prayer of thanking the Gods for his meal did he take a bite of the juicy fruit, his tail thumping against the ground in delight at its ripeness.
