Slay can create and minipulate a grayish colored lightning that is much more quicker and faster than regular lightning.This lightning may be used to create hand held objects and or much more larger objects such as puppets or large animal like beings.Slay is immuned to his lightning but not the lightning created by others or created by storms.

Slays zanpuktou turns coal black and then burst into metalic like sand.The sand can then be controled with Slay's mind to attack the enemy.Once Slay triggers the sand,each grain expands to a metalic cube like object that is about 4 inches wide and long.The amount of sand created has a limit and can be controled.With Slay's power,he can only creat enough sand to burry a house.

Slay can use the shadows around him as a weapon.He can lift them up out of the ground and creat objects out of them.Once the shadows have created this object,it can be controled with Slays mind for quicker attacks.

Before Death
Slay was born into the Shihoin family.Slay's original name was Slay Shihoin,however,he was born into the human world.He seemed to have no potential and no reiatsu unlike the others born into the nobel family,so,they decided to send him to another family.As Slay got older,he began to grow a cat like tail and developed great speed and strength.Slay always thought of himself as an outsider,of course nobody normal had a tail and was as quick as he was but when he met his friends,they mad ehim feel normal,like an average boy.Slay's time in the human world gave him an avantage in a way,he always went to the local dojo studying in the ways of sword fighting and hand to hand techniques.He always seemed to specialize in fighting hand to hand so he excelled in his classes.When Slay turned 13,he met a girl who had been able to see spirits.Her name was Migoto Sonzai and when Slay was around her,everything felt right.They were both different yet so special,that made them become good friends.When Slay turned 14,he confessed his love to her and she confessed hers.Ever since then they have been together in a healthy relationship.He and Migoto were in a few of the same classes much like he and his other friends were,they studied together,they played together,they even ate together on some days.Slay loved Migoto with all his heart and promised to never let her go,he had also found love with his friends,everything seemed so perfect.One day,Slay was walking down the street with Migoto and 2 other friends,suddenly,Migoto pointed to a near by roof shouting out in screams of fear.When Slay asked what was wrong she told him that there was some sort of monster with a bone mask following them.The monster that Migoto had seen was indeed a hollow,a hungry looking for fresh souls to devour.The hollow then let out a mighty roar as it leaped into the air straight for Slay and the others.As it got closer,Migoto built up some confidence she had deep within and preformed a round house kick to the hollows head.Slay was shocked at how bold she was and decided that he would atleast try to help.With Slays speed and strength,and Migoto's sight,they worked together to defeat the hollow.After that day,Slay had found a new power,power that allowed him too to see spirits and even hollows.On certain occasions,hollows would aproach Slay and Migoto and Slay was able to fight them off bit by bit.After that day,he and Migoto decided to search for these monsters and destroy them 1 by 1.Slay used his bare hands while Migoto used a dagger she had found in her mothers closet,they called themselves "The Elite Duo of Karakura." Slay then met with a man named Shojo Kisuke who had a secret group of fighters who had been trying to fight ooff hollows as well.Slay and Migoto teamed up with them and trained to become stronger so that defeating hollows would be easier.Slay had finally found where he belonged and would give do anything to stay there,to be with the one she loved the most.

Slay was at school in math class studying for a major test.The day was peacful and sunny,everything seemed so right.Slay looked over to his girl friend watching her as she quietly read through her text book,her face seemed so beautiful as the suns warmth engulfed her soft skin.Slay suddenly shifted his attention to the window,he saw something huge and black forming in the sky,he thought nothing of it for a while until he saw it open up.Slays eyes widened as foul creatures erputed from the hole in the sky,rampaging in a chaotic outburst of ager and rage.The mosters then fell to the ground and began obliterating everything in sight,eating killing humans and taking their souls.Slay stood up and pointed to the window trying to show the class that monsters were attacking the city,however,it seemed as if only Slay could see these creatures,everyone else thought that there was a killer on the loose.Everyone in the class began to panic and thats when "it" came,a Menos Grande.The Menos Grande let out a huge roar,its power shattering the class room windows,thats when an elite group of Soul Reapers apeared at the scene,defeating as many hollows as possible,however,many were killed.As everything looked as if it couldnt get worst,it did,the Menos Grande fired off a cero at the school destroying nearly half of it in one shot.That blast also took out Slay's girl friend and most of his friends,their souls were then aten by hollows that invaded the school moments before the cero was fired.Slay's cat like tail had found its way out of his pants at the moment,he was so frightend,he couldnt control the tail.Slay then picked up a chair and began to swing rapidly at the hollows,however,through his pathetic attempts at saving his own life,he and his friends were still destroyed by the hollows.Slay's soul was the last in the classroom,his girl friends,his friends,and even his teachers souls had been devoured,Slay pulled out a pocket knife his dad had got him and began stabbing a few of the hollows,amazingly,he killed about 4 or 5,however,there was an even bigger problem,the Menos Grande was right in front of the school,staring down at Slay.The school had been severly punished by the cero to where the ceiling wasnt even connected anymore.Slay looked up at the Menos Grande and his fear took over,he couldnt even move,thats when he heard another loud roar,it came from the right,it was his girl friend's soul,slowly turning into a hollow.Even then,Slay couldnt move one inch,he just watched as his girl friend had suffered from the agonizing pain of the hollowfication.A bright light then flashed in Slay's eyes,a bright red light,as Slay looked up once again,it was the Menos Grande,firing another cero.As the cero was blasted towards Slay,everything went silent,the cero slowly got closer and closer,his heart beat grew faster abd faster,until finally,another hollow apeared in fornt of him.It had took the cero to the face for Slay,protecting him from any harm.When the hollow turned around to face Slay,its mask broke off,revealing Slay's girl friend,blood poured from her mouth as her eyes grew lifeless and dull.She fell to the floor and slowly evaportated.Slay let out one large scream,his anger grew and his reiatsu grew to the power of a full blown shinigami.He then took his pocket knife and leaped forward.As he flew threw the air,he began to preform flips and spins until he finally landed on the Gillians face.Slay then stabbed the Gillian in the face letting off a massive amount of reiatsu with the attack,this made the Menos Grande explode at that very moment.Slay then fell to the ground and cut his face on a remaining peice of his girl friends hollow mask.Slay let out one more roar before he fainted.When he finally woke up,he found himself inside of a house that was located in the Rukongai District.He saw a few others in the house who had surprised looks on there faces.These people had been slowly nursing Slay back to full health.A few days later,a group of shinigami came to pick Slay up to enroll him into the shinigami academy after hearing how he defeated 5 hollows and a Menos Grande.To this day,Slay still feels as if he did nothing,it was his own fault for not being brave enough to save his loved ones.
