Phoebe giggled as she tugged a sign down over her neck and stepped outside the bookstore. She'd noticed how few customers her J-Mama seemed to get lately, and had decided to try and lure some in by dancing and 'advertising' for the store. It was a way to both help her J-Mama out, and to get attention, too! The sign was poorly decorated but she'd tried her hardest, and hopefully she could get some customers into the shop, too!
"Come shop here! The one and only bookstore with books that talk~!"

The long haired twin looked around the shopping plaza , nothing grabbed her attention. Even the males in this area had no appeal. She gazed up at the sky not really thinking about much.
"OHHHHH CUTIE" the pink haired sixty year old ran to a window with a peach and sea blue dress on display. "This would look soo good on you , baby doll" she said with a thick twang. Her eyes almost looked like a puppy staring at Tempy.
The little one rolled her eyes " Bonie , I don't need any more clothes" she glanced over at a magazine on the ground. It had a man with really large muscle , she picked it up , and studied his body " His muscles are to large he would never be able to use his muscle right like that , he would ran and wear himself out" she stated. She studied the male human body , and muscles in general.
"HUN .... its summer , I have no summer dresses .... for you , its going to get way to hot , this is a sun dress , made to get the heat off of you" she smiled with hope , maybe Tempy would believe her.
JACK POT! The wrath child looked up " I guess ......" before she could truly think about the dress she saw a book store. In front was a funny looking girl dancing. "We should go look at books , maybe they have something on the male body...." she stated.
The elder women looked as if she was going to cry , she even waved to the pritty dress " I will come back for you" she stated.
"Bonie ........ dresses can't hear you" the logical thinker also stated. Once they got to the book store Temperance walked right up to the girl " Do you work here , if you do , do you have books on the male form?" she asked politely.
Most parents would be upset if there kid asked such an odd question but Bonie was use to this already. She just placed her hand on Tempie's shoulder and looked back at the dress shop.

Phoebe giggled and performed a pirouette. "I don't work here, I live here! J-Mama owns the shop but no-one ever comes in - they get lost trying to find the right books and don't come back." The little pride and kindness spawn smiled up at the adult, and then at the girl who looked just an itty bit like her friend Ily - maybe they were related? It was possible, she supposed. She knew that she had a lot of half-siblings running around, she could tell because they all looked a little like her - and because J-Mama had said she did. So maybe Ily did too!
"J-mama would know if we have any books like that," she said with a nod, tilting her head so that she could look at the might-be customers out of her left eye, since it worked better lately. "Why do you want books on men anyway?" she asked, then grinned up at the older lady who seemed so sad over the pretty dress she had seen.
"I do know that J-mama has books on pretty clothes though, and... um..... well there's lots of books in here, so I bet there will be something both of you would like!"

Temperance answered both questions " Well I think the male body is neat, also feel alpha males show a dominance alpha females aren't able to , now take me to ...... this person you talk about , I would like to look at your books" she stated. She forgot the name the female used.
The county lover looked at the girl with a bright smiled , you could see her golden tooth really well " Ahhhhh noooo , I have all the books I need on clothes , I can't make clothes for the life of me" she noted.
The little wrath girl nodded " Yea , my male guardian makes dolls , and she can't even make doll clothes that well , even I'm able to do that , and my hand eye coordination isn't all that great" she nodded once more.

Phoebe blinked. She had understood maybe about two words out of all the sentences that had just been said to her. Not that it mattered, really. Gigging, she put the sign down and opened the shop door. "Still, come in, both of you! J-Mama's bookstore is special, some of the things inside you won't find anywhere else!" She was serious, too - and it was also a part of the reason why the bookstore had so few patrons. There had been tales circulating around a few years ago about a book on big cats that had clawed someone's face up.

The spawn walked into the book store heading no mind to the girl ‘You can find just about anything on the internet’ she thought to herself. Once into the book store she looked for employees. This was something she was good at , she never been to a Mom and Pop store before , so she was expecting a retail vibe.
The pink haired sixty year old followed after Tempy rather fast , she knew of stores like this and wanted to make sure Tempy stayed safe , she didn’t need a naked man popping out of any book. She had seen manikins and pictures that was enough exposure for her , too much in Bonie’s opinion.

Phoebe pouted, forgetting for a moment that she had been trying to give her J-Mama customers, and disappointed that she couldn't continue talking to that girl - oh, wait a moment! Giggling, she threw the sign she had been wearing to the ground and walked into the bookstore behind the pair of shoppers. "Wait, wait, you have to watch your step!" she called, attracting the attention of the dark elf behind the counter, who up until then had her nose locked in a book.
Blinking owlishly over a pair of granny-style glasses, Jadyn set her book aside with a smile. "Customers? Really? What are you looking for?" she asked curiously, ready to give out directions that she knew would be a challenge to follow - but it was just such fun to rescue the unsuspecting shoppers!

Temperance with no hesitation stated "I'm looking for a book on the male human body" she looked the older women in the eyes. Yes this woman would know her craft. She really looked the part of a book keeper. "Ohhh! , I want to see as many different type of men naked , from fair skinned to the darkest colored skin" she nodded. She was still learning all the different races. She turned back to look at the girl , then she looked back at the women.
The pink haired county lover felt as small as pea right now. What parent would let their kid say something like that. She just slouched in her skin not say anything.

Jadyn raised an eyebrow and glanced at the parent accompanying the very obviously under-aged child, but at long last she nodded and shrugged a bit. It wasn't her place to judge parents, after all, especially not parents of these kids. "Books on male anatomy, photographic aids included. . . alright, you'll want to take three steps forward from here, turn right, hop the next step, spin in a complete circle counterclockwise - to your left - on one foot without falling over, and they're the first on your right," Jadyn said, her tone level and serious - because she was. "If you can't follow my instructions exactly, you could very easily get lost in the shop. So be careful."
Phoebe giggled and smiled at Bonie, taking her hand. "Come with me, I'll show you some of J-Mama's special books," she said, then tilted her head. "Or I could help you follow J-Mama's directions earlier if you want - I'm still looking for my little brother, he's somewhere in the shop but we never know where he is, he just keeps popping up with peanut butter whenever we think he's really missing," the pigtailed pinkette added conversationally, thinking nothing off about her eternally-vanishing sibling or the fact that J-Mama was letting a little kid go look up books on - ew - boys.

The gray haired toddler got out a pen and paper from her pocket " ok she made a 3 and made what looked like feet prints , an arrow making a righr , and she spelt hop "What is ....the counter with a clock" she asked. She was not ond to mess around.
Bonnie smiled " Ahhhh" she was about to talk to her girl when Phoebe started to talk "Ohhh nooo dear , I need to stay with my kid , but I would love for your cute cheecks to come with us" she said real hick.

Jadyn nearly facepalmed. This kid was genuinely serious. How wonderful - she could only hope the little girl wasn't going to develop a complex about it or something later on in life. "You know how a clock ticks to the right? Countercockise is spinning in the opposite direction - to your left, in other words." Well, at least the kid's mother would go there and maybe rein her in. She hoped so, at least.
Phoebe giggled. "Okay! Let's get going then!" She chirped. "You should see my little brother if we find him~!"

The girl looked up "Can you write that for me" she asked of the Woman. She lifted the pen and paper up to her.
Bonnie walked with the girl over to Temperance.
When the girl talked about finding her brother, Tempy looked at her "I'm not here to find your brother , I am here to look for books" she stated in a calm tone.
Bonnie gave off a real puzzled look " Tempy be nice , if she happens to find her brother with us , that's just fine , that is just fine by me" with even more hick in her voice , now that she was kind of mad.
Tempy looked up and shrugged " well can we go to the male books now" she said in the same tone.

Phoebe nodded. "We can go - but you don't need directions from J-mama, I know the way!" she chirped, and didn't even have the grace to look ashamed when her mother affixed her with the you-did-what look that always meant she was in big, big trouble. "Um anyway let's go!" she said hastily, grabbing Tempy and Bonnie's hands and taking off through the bookstore to avoi her mother's glare-of-death.

Tempy looked at the girl "What are the directions , as you said before this book place isn't safe , so I can't just trust anyone" The toddler miss said some of the words , but that was the jist of it. She looked down at her list.
Bonnie was kind of shocked 'Sooo she did pay attention the little brat , you can never tell' she looked at the other lady and mouthed "IM SOOOO SORRY". She placed her left hand on her right chest , with a limp in it. The country Gal couldn't get too mad with her baby wanting to be safe. Sooo she let the rudeness pass this time.

Phoebe nodded and recited the directions back easily - making her mother's eyebrow twitch in irritation with how well she knew the way to those particular books. "Take three steps forward - ignore J-Mama, it can be from anywhere, the pattern's what is important - , turn right, hop the next step, spin in a complete circle to your left - that's really fun, by the way - on one foot, and they're on the right. I don't see why you want to look at them though. All they look like is Ken dolls with funny dangly bits added!"
Now it was Jadyn who wanted to apologize - actually, she wanted to ground her daughter for the next six months and then apologize to the other parent who had walked into her store. "Phoebe..." she said warningly, and the pink-haired spawn gulped and looked desperately to Tempy and Bonnie.
"Can we go now, please? Before J-Mama locks me in my room?"
