Wynni walked into the building hand-in-hand with Mnemosyne. The girl was too young to wander in by herself so of course Big Sister agreed to take her when she had time set aside. Wynni glanced down at Mnemo who was beaming quite contently holding onto a piece of paper that had macaroni glued on it as a 'gift' of sorts. The small girl had no idea if her gift would be well received or not but she didn't particularly care. She just wanted to be friendly that was all.
For a moment they gazed around a little stumped and more than a little lost.
Well this was just dandy. Mnemosyne gazed about before she pulled Wynni toward a hallway.

Apoxi poked her head out of one room and grinned as she saw the pair. "Why hello there!"
The little woman bounced a bit on her toes before speaking. "So, who're you here to see, you two?"

"Hello," they both said cheerfully almost at once.
Wynni shifted her shoulders she was here mostly on Mnemosyne's whim.
Mnemo titled her head up at Apoxi and grinned wide, "Here to see Natashia~!" She had decided she wanted to start with her Harpy-mother before she would decide to meet her other parent.

Immediately, Apoxi's face brightened up. "That's wonderful, Nat hasn't had visitors in foreeeeeeever." she stated and immediately headed out of the room she was in - calling quick apologies to someone over her shoulder - and darted down the hall to another room, which she promptly opened for them.
"Go right in and make yourselves at home." Apoxi stated before returning to her duty.
The room looked quite like a large cave that opened up onto a grassy hilly with a beautiful view of the sky outside. Generally not something you'd find completely indoors in an industrial looking lab, but hey, what do you want when you're dealing with magic?
Perched on a small rock outcropping and throwing a ball against the wall, was a woman with long blonde hair - a lighter blonde streak down the middle, skin tanned from the sun, a beaky nose, feathered legs, and a jawline that said she probably took A LOT after her father. However, she seemed neither vicious nor unkind, turning to wave a bit to the girls.
"Heeeeeey, one of you here to see me?" the question was almost hopeful? After all, Natasha hadn't seen ANY of her kids yet!

The girls followed Apoxi with no issue or further commentary. They quietly thanked the cheerful woman as they went in and gazed around, Mnemosyne was most impressed by her surroundings as she gazed about and held firmly onto her picture. She released her hold on Wynni as she boldly wandered forth and then a voice caught her attention.
The small girl blinked toward the voice and beamed, "I did!" she answered cheerfully with a bit of excitement in spite of herself. Wynni laughed a bit and nodded to confirm the small girl's claim.
"Yes she wanted to come see you," Wynni explained with a small smile, "I hope it is alright I came along."

"No that is FINE!" the harpy assured Wynni hurriedly, flying to another perch to shake their hands. She didn't seem wildly excited so much as a bit eager - Nat was lonely, not desperate. "What're your names? I'm Natasha, but most just call me Nat or Natty."
Looking over the kid, she grinned, crossing her lightly muscled arms over an athletically built chest. Well, Mne looked pretty healthy and strong for her age at least!

Wynni smiled at the Harpy and nodded a bit. She would stay as long as it was alright for her to stay. The spawn understood that it was sometimes a private matter when one met their biological parent. "I am Wynni, I took this child on as a mentor," she explained quietly with a small nod. She wanted Mnemosyne to introduce herself instead of doing it for her.
Thankfully the child seemed to take the bait, "An' I'm Mnemosyne! They call me Mnemo most of the time," the smaller girl said grinning cheerfully. She wandered a bit closer and offered up the art of dried macaroni-on-paper in vague shape of a harpy up to Natasha, "This is for you! Made it myself."

Natasha looked at the picture for a bit before laughing some and grinning. "That's mighty cute, kiddo. I'll have to find somewhere to hang it up." she assured Mnemo, taking the drawing and carefully setting it on a nearby shelf of rock.
In truth, Natasha wasn't really as much a 'mom' as a big sister type herself. She really didn't know much what to do when a child was upset or needed attention, but she tried her best and did what she could to make things nice.
Crouching down on her perch, the harpy smiled, "So, what do you do for fun, hm?"

Mnemosyne beamed happily at the praise and the acceptance of her gift. The little girl had decided that if she ever came back to see Natasha again she would look for the picture to see if the Harpy was good to her 'promise'. She looked up thoughtfully when she was questioned about her hobbies and fun things she enjoyed doing, "I play with my Wynni and her brother Puck! Then I play with the little sewin' machine she got for meh! I like to try makin' clothes and stuff." Mnemosyne informed happily. "What do you do for fun?"
Wynni for now watched the pair interact with a small smile.

Natasha grinned at Mne's answer. "Wow, sewing? Cool. I can't sew for the life of me, but my Mom can. I always get my feathers in the way." she laughed, fluffing them a bit before thinking on her own answer.
"Me? I tend to play sports and I do some blacksmithing - I learned it from my dad. Good old metalworking from the old days may take more time than this new modern crap they do with machines, but I can make some pretty fine and durable stuff much more custom and easy."

Mnemosyne beamed as Natasha said that her interests were 'cool'. Really for the small half-breed there was no better compliment and she even wiggled a bit in place before she stilled herself long enough to listen to Natasha's response. Her lips parted a bit as she listened mostly in awe, "I want to learn that too but I'm prolly too little," she pouted a bit.
It sounded like something she should wait to try until she is older. She shifted from side to side thoughtfully, "What kinda stuff can ya make with metalworkings?" Mnemosyne asked curiously, "Aaaan what kinda sports you play?"

The harpy chuckled some, "Mostly just a bit too small to hold the tools." she explained, "But when you're bigger we can see about it."
The blonde explained about her favorite sports for a while before it became about lunchtime and Apoxi poked her head in. "You've been in here a while, Mne, Wynni, and it's about time for Nat to have lunch. Did you want to head home or stick around?"

Mnemosyne grinned and nodded, "Okies!" she replied as she then fell into the stance of listening as the harpy went into other details of her own life. Of course being a small child Mnemo sometimes fidgeted and interrupted a little with questions about things but otherwise she was fairly well behaved and attentive to the best of her abilities.
When Apoxi poked her head in the small girl pouted a bit at the prospect of having to possibly leave but Wynni intervened gently, "We can come back another time, Mnemo, we have errands we need to run for Momma Riulve, remember?"
The small girl parted her lips to argue before she nodded a bit, "Okays," she looked back up at the harpy and grinned, "See you again soon!"

Nat laughed, leaning down to pick the girl up in a big hug before setting her back down. "You be good now squirt!" she laughed, turning back to the macaroni picture and looking around the cave for somewhere to hang it up.

Mnemosyne gleefully hugged back with a small giggle, "Yes'm!" she promised or at least promised as best as a small girl could promise anything and soon was wandering out hand-in-hand with Wynni chattering the other half-breed's ear off about how much fun she had.
Thankfully Wynni is a mostly patient soul and simply smiled and nodded as they left.
