This has caused quite a ruckus. The law would have law enforcement officials question people about their immigration status if they have a reasonable suspicion they they are in the country illegally. It would also make it a state crime in Arizona to be in the country illegally.
How do you feel about that?

They aren't actually changing any laws. They are just enforcing federal laws on a state level because the federal government won't. I honestly don't understand what the big deal is. If a police officer has a reasonable suspicion that you are breaking the law he or she should have every right to question you to make sure. That is kind of why we have police officers.
