People's stories about where they get their screen name can be quite interesting sometimes... Here's my boring one:
Aliases:
Matthias (Redwall)
Cyndane (Last name given to a character on a MUD, took it as a first name for other RPs)
Ryudo (Grandia II)
Any of these would randomly have the surname "Keyte" tagged on the end (Another surname from the same MUD as Cyndane).

CarbonatedDevil comes from a joke between me and two of my closest friends in highschool Michelle and Vanessa. We used to joke around that the devil was a trinity, the unholy trinity. Much like the god, jesus, holy spirit deal.
We came up with the unholy trinity was cancer-sticks, carbonated water, and...me. Don't ask, it was amusing. I can't stand cigs though, so I dubbed myself the CarbonatedDevil joking around (I always had soda with me in school...oral fixations must be satisfied and those plastic pieces under the caps work well)...so it just kind of stuck and I made it a screen name. Been using it ever since.
Rythen (my name on here) is a name I made up for an Immortal (Staff) I played on a MUD.

If I ever get AIM to work, you'll see me there as polocheram. Basically, just my last name with my Chinese zodiac pasted to the end.
Libram is the combination of my Greek? and Chinese signs, Libra and Ram. It's just something I decided on one day. I had no idea that it was actually a component to witchcraft. Run a goodle search on my name and learn.

Process: Strung together some favorite letters, liked how it sounded, kept it. Added a 42 for flair. (The 42 is from the Hitchiker's Guide, naturally. wink )

Wolf Spero- I like wolves and think of them as my totem animals, and my favorite virtue is hope, and that is I hope in latin.
Spera Wavewind- Spera is the imperitive form of Spero so it's the command to hope, and wavewind was supossed to describe her flakey yet crudading personlity (a D&D char)
Musical Pain- I made this one up to avoid a stalking ex-boyfreind, of course I was an idiot and ended up telling him what it was
Caevana- This one was named after a Garg chat RP character, but also to avoid a differnt stalking ex-boyfreind who knew the password to my pervious screen name
Feather13- I liked feathers and I was 13 years old when we got the internet.

Well for me it started in junior high when alot of my friends were being named after characters in an 80's anime. So, with my being the one in the group that swims like a fish and is nearly undunkable in the pool, I got named after the water character in the anime... Sai. The numbers are my birthday which is march 25.
P.S. They also later found out that I am very ticklish so when tickled I fall to the floor and flop like a fish... they still get great amounts of joy out of seeing this stare

well here goes...
JJax- a combination of my first and last names(if you must know, ill tell ya), given to me at school
professorj229- referance to the DJ on Jet gring radio for dreamcast, (a very cool game i might add) and the J is my initial, and the 229 is my birthday... (thats right ladies and gentleman, we have a leapyear baby in the house...lol)
jacobknowsall229@yahoo.com- yeah...major inside joke between me and 1 of my friends, i helped him in math class all the time, so he just startes saying "Jacob Knows" and he started calling me that...and i added the "all" when i made the name, and again, the 229 is my b-day...

Kopaka_Icelord - Bionicle character I can most relate with. He's right to the point and wastes no time with big flashy moves. Ice is his elemental ability and I am at my best when ice and snow are around.
DrgnSrcphgs - Dragon Sarcophagus. This came from my liking of Dragons and my knowledge of Egypt. I read on mythologies a lot of times.

my first ever screen name is one i always use
but that story is too long to tell and if u really care what it is u can ask me in a PM or on a messenger
as for the one i have here, i got it from a vidio game, The Legend of the Dragoon
funny thing is... its an RPG for the PS1(for the ones who don't know) and one of the major factors in the game is what type element fighter u use in battle

Well, I wanted "Laire" but that was taken. It was my name on... Runescape, I think? My computer had to get its keyboard replaced last summer, but before that the keyboard was bad, and would show two letter when one was typed - typing 'g' would yield 'gt', and typing 'r' would yield 'yr'. So, when Gaia told me that 'Laire' was taken, I went for 'Laiyre'. I liked "Laire" for the way it looked.
On other sites, I'm known as:
Warrior Bard - this one's from a really, really awesome Irish folksong titled "The Minstrel Boy" by Thomas Moore. I've bumped with it sometimes... rolleyes
Celtic Bard - my pen name on fanfiction sites and slash boards. Formed pretty much for the same reason as the above.
Starmoon - my first ever screen name! I made it back in 2002, when I joined a chainmail discussion board... it was the first thing I could think of.
Oh! And, I have a mule ( a male mule! xd ) on Gaia named 'Bowman of Agincourt' after one of my favorite medieval battles! 3nodding
