Layla sighed, Pyros had gone off on other business, so she was alone, and bored. She groomed her fur meticulously, making sure there wasn't a strand out of place, Looking out onto the meadow she spied a few rabbits and the occaisional larger creature. She lay down and started to doze off in the hot sunlight, then out of the corner of her eye she spotted the demon Shakiayo she'd seen before, he seemed to acting a little differently than usual. She had to admit, this made her curious, and she stalked down in the long grass towards him.

Arcane wasn't feeling his best and he finally curled up in the shade and put his wings around him self to block out the light. His stomach and head hurt and his body felt much hotter then normal. He was sick and annoyed with being such. He hadn't even caught wind of the female that he was feet away from.

Layla grinned to herself, the male had curled up, *perfect* she thought, sneaking over to go and give him a scare, she crept silently behind him, keeping his scent blowing towards her so that he didnt even smell her coming. Ah she neared him she could smell a strange scent, it almost smelled like he was sick or something, *i'll still give him a shock* she thought, creeping up and yelling "BOO" in his ear, before giggling nastily.

Arcane just about jumped out of his skin. He yipped and shot in to the air landing several feet away his heart drumming in his ears. His wings where opened and his fur fluffed almost like he was kind of cat. Once he caught sight of who had scared him his ears sank and he growled. "you are the last thing i need today....ugn just leave me alone." Normally he would have snapped back at her but to day he wasn't up for a fight in fact all he wanted was some food and rest. However, Arcane wasn't the best hunter and it was even harder on him when he was ill.

Layla laughed "oh dont be such a baby, you're a demon, not a pup" she snapped and sat down "i'm not going anywhere" she said a little softer, but still with an irritated edge to it. Looking down her nose at the male, "you smell awful" she said simply

Arcane sighed and headed over to the water to bathe. "we'll excuse me if i don't meet up to your smell standers..." he muttered and rolled around in the water. He came out soaked and shook him self off, seconds later he regretted it the whole world spin and he stumbled closing his eyes. He stayed still a few moments before he peeked his eyes open. The spinning had stopped. He sighed and headed back of to the tree and lay down curling up trying to keep from shivering.

Layla huffed, *what do i care what he does* she asked herself, but she watched carefully as he bathed, almost fell, the recovered to lie in the shade fo the tree, shivering. "idiot" she mumbled moving over to drag him out into the sunshine "warm yourself on the moss, STAY where i've put you" she ordered after putting him on a warm mossy area of the meadow, before taking off.
She returned a little while later with a rabbit, and some plants chewing the plants together with meat from the rabbit she spat it out at his paws "eat that" she demanded, in a tone that wasn't to be argued with.

By the time she'd come back Arcane had moved back in to the shade again. He looked up as she dropped the food in front of him and looked off laying his head down. "I'm not hungry."

Layla sighed "you need to be warm, in the SUNSHINE you idiot" she said, "and you nede to eat, whether you're hungry or not" she said, grabbing up the chewed up meat with her paw and rubbing it onto Arcane's mouth "you dont even need to chew, just swallow"

Arcane growled as she tired to force feed him. He jerked away then head butted her right in the forehead. " I can do it my self damn b***h!" He shouted spitting what'd he tired to feed him on to the ground. He looked at the meat and finally started to eat not even asking if she was okay about the head butt.

Layla glared at Arcane "dont ever touch me" she said in a quiet voice full of danger and threat, she was smug that he started eating however "the meat will build your strength up, since that 'headbut' was weaker than a newborn pup" she said, licking her chest fur for a moment, "the herbs should brig any fever down and clear out you lungs" she huffed, sitting just out of reach.

Arcane's ears flattened as he finished off the meat. "who said I've sick? What if i'm just tired from keeping up with Cornae all day?" He snorted and stretched. "I'm fine."

"HA!" snorted Layla "you can lie to yourself but you dont fool me" she bent down towards him "i can smell it, you're sick" she said, sitting back down she glanced around, wondering if there was a specific plant laying around to help.

Arcane sniffed him self and snorted. "I don't not smell sick, a bit grungy maybe but not sick..." He muttered and got up again. He sighed weakly staring at her a few moments. 'so what if i am, what are you going to do about it. I think this is the first time I've ever seen you duet over someone whats wrong with you? Shouldn't you hate my guts?"

Now it was Laylas time to snort "id ont HATE you., i just, dislike you a lot, but tht doesnt mean i'm some evil b***h that will leave a sick creature without some sort of assistance" she said huffily, before bringing a paw down on his muzzle "jeez you're burning up" she commented "and anyway it's more fun to piss you off if you're sick and cant do anything about it" she whispered with a slightly nasty smile.
