A name... No. She was sure, it wasn't even fully that. Part of a name. That was all she had. All she could remember. 'Fu'. It was the only thing clear in her mind.. The rest was darkness and heavy fog and no matter how hard she tried... nothing else would come forward. She wasn't... even sure if it was part of HER name or.. or someone else's name... the name of her homeland even!
She just didn't know...
Blood matted her pale, once beautiful fur, most of it dry, but some still running freely from wounds with a wrong shift, and... She couldn't remember how to remove that blood from her fur... She also couldn't seem to figure out why her body seemed to be getting weaker and angrier with her by the hour... It had even begun to growl at her! She didn't know what it wanted... Some things she understood to some extent. She knew words. She had gotten the hang of walking fairly easily. Breathing, obviously, that task was comprehended... But other things...
A sigh passed through Fu's lips as she stumbled down into the grass again, letting her green eyes travel slowly to her bloodied leg. What happened to her..? Hissing in pain, she shifted her body slowly so that she was laid out on her side in the short soft grass, panting and finally taking a break from her slow, fairly pathetic walk. She hadn't been covering much distance over the two days since she'd suddenly awoken... But she had been slowly getting away from that jungle.. She wasn't sure why she felt the need to put distance between herself, and it, but she was afraid of it, so the only thing to do was pick a direction, and start moving...
But what was she going to do now..?
She hadn't met a single other creature since she'd woken.. Did others exists? She wasn't the only one? Right..? She couldn't be... Shutting her eyes in pain, she pressed her face down into the dirt, uncaring that it was coating her white cheeks.

He was going to kill his brother when he found him. Caius had such a nasty habbit of running off whenever things got bleak while they searched for their pride. Their mother, whose body they hadn't found... even when their father's and siblings had been so readily availible. Bodies everywhere. People he had, if only a little, for the sake of compitition, cared about. But family was special. Family was different from all the rest.
Still, that had been months... nearly a year ago, that he had lost his entire family except his brother in one fell swoop. And he knew his brother was beginning to lose hope of ever finding their family... but Augustus would not. He refused, based on principal, to leave behind everything that mattered to him. Everything about his old life mattered, and he would never let it go.
It was around that moment, as he chased down his stupid brother and his stupid... but then he saw something else that was completely different entirely. There was something else out there... a leopardess of all things. Not what he had been expecting all the way out there.
And of all the things, she was injured to top it all off.
"...You." He said, slow and sure as he stepped forward, padding towards her, "You're hurt?" He would have walked away had it been any other type of creature. But a leopardess... his mother would not have approved.
Damsel in distress. Save them, and they could be useful later. That was what she had always told him... Cato, his father, of course, had an entirely different opinion, having to do with chivalry. And he supposed if she wasn't entirely useful as an equal, she would do fine as a slave. Either way, he couldn't leave her there.

Brown ears flicked up at the first words... the sound of approaching paws... And then he spoke again. The voice of a male. Some kind of creature. Slowly, pale green eyes opened in fear, disbelief and hope to stare up to what could only be a creature similar to herself. At least, they had a lot of the same parts, didn't they? Whatever they were... " Y- yes.. " She answered him meekly as she moved to carefully try to stand herself back up. " I'm injured.. I think... "
Frowning a bit once she had herself balanced, she took a glance down to herself, ears flattening back sadly before her head lifted to look up to the male. " I.. Can you.. help me..? I don't know what.. happened to me.. "
It didn't really register to her that it was an odd thing to say. Not knowing what happened to you, but, well, it was the truth, and why should she not tell the truth? Her former self probably could have given her ten different reasons to lie in this situation, but that little voice was gone now. One the heavy fog remained, leaving her mind blank and painful. Leaving her absolutely terrified and willing to follow and stranger who happened upon her. The devil himself would look like a savior to the amnesiac leopardess as she peered hopefully up to the male before her.

Augustus took pause, pbserving her quickly. She looked like something very large had taken the liberty of beating the snot out of her, which seemed odd, as she had such a timid personality. He recalled he had once had a slave with a personality like that, whom his mother had been quite decent too, if only to foster a trusting environment. If your slaves liked you, they were less likely to betray your secrets to others. He wondered if perhaps she had disobeyed her master at some point and been led to this disasterous end?
But then she said she had no idea what had happened to her. Very strange, but perhaps she had been attacked in the night by some sort of savage. How he missed the pride lands, where such a creature would be hunted down and forced to fight for sport against the Binadamu's more experienced warriors, like himself or Caius. The outside world had such odd laws about that sort of thing. He would never understand them.
"You don't remember what happened to you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, "Where are you from? Do you have some sort of... people, who may help you? A pride perhaps? A family?" The last thing he needed was to take care of some helpless leopardess he had found in the middle of the woods... but he could already imagine his father's distain were he to leave someone so helpless, and of his own kind, out in the middle of nowhere.
How difficult the rules of life could be sometimes.
