Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] Three months ago exactly, Saya arrived at Farvardin Aegle Academy for Young Men and Women. The carriage driven by her brother took her to the Amparo Edifice, an imposing building that looked more like a prison than a safe haven. He had shouted back compliments about the no doubt gorgeous garden flanking each side of the building, but no matter how pretty the flowers were, Saya could not be convinced that this was her best alternative. She belonged at home, where she could be of some help to her family, not here, where her stomach grew nauseous at the very thought of remaining cooped up in the prestigious school.
The carriage had come to an abrupt stop, but the teen hardly remembered it. Her mind was calculating every possible means of escape and even diplomatic reasoning to convince her brother to return her home. His thoughts were only occupied with thoughts of running back to his wife's side, however. He could care less about the turmoil of a sister who wanted desperately to be anywhere but here.
"Come along now, you can't hide in the carriage all day."
"I can and I will." Came the stubborn response.
"Saya Harmony Tennyson, get out of the carriage this instant." The words were mimicked from the not-present father, supposedly meant to strike fear into her through strict intimidation.
Naturally, she didn't buy it. Saya glanced sideways at the man, hands on her lap. The expression she wore was one of mock innocence. "Do you really loathe me so much that you wish to ship me off to the first crazy-house that wishes to take me?" The effects of the guilt trip were immediate, but not lethal enough.
A quick defense to her bitter words and more brute force landed her on the side of the road, unable to pull herself to her feet before the carriage was turning around, horses galloping off the way they had come. "Wait, come back!" Saya shouted desperately, jumping to her feet and chasing after the carriage, leaving suitcases of luggage behind. She slowed down about halfway down the road, falling to her knees. "Fine!" The girl shouted again, frustrated this time, to a man that was too far to hear her. "Go!" A rock that could never have hoped to reach its destination was thrown angrily after that, and the memory faded.
I WILL escape today. A girl with long brown hair stood in an apartment on the second floor of Osamu Hall, flipping the safety hatch on the window before heaving it open. She wore garb traditional in another culture entirely, having deserted European fashion a long time ago. The kimono was one of her favorites, colored in pink hues with an orange tint to each one, no matter how dark or light. The exotic flowers gave birth to branches , stretching over most of the material. The cloth was smooth and comfortable, the length bearable in the spring heat because of some crafty hemming, leaving a thin slit to permit easy movement. Her sleeves flowed out, loose instead of puffed like European dresses, and ended at her elbows. As if to challenge modern standards, she refused to entertain the hosting Academy by wearing any sort of stockings or proper shoes, let alone put her hair up (it was always left down so she could feel the breeze). She did wear sandals, unnaturally accustomed to running with a strap at the back, designed with woven sand-colored heels with white cloth straps and skinny silver buckles.
There had been an escape attempt every day without fail since her arrival, with the single exception of the day before. Technically she had been grounded this weekend, doomed to stay in her dorm, so she had left that Saturday chaos-free in order to create false hope in the minds of the staff as well as the more concerned portion of the student body. There had been a flaw in the protective barrier around her dorm, it having been assumed that Saya wasn't nearly foolish enough to leap out of a second story window. A lack of guards made it all the more doable on top of there. All this was discovered on her day off. So this morning she was at it again. Today is definitely the day. I'll make it out of here. This was her last resolving thought as she climbed onto the window ledge and pushed herself away from it with both legs, leaving her sailing toward the ground.
Unnatural wind summoned itself to her aide, cushioning her reckless fall. To any outsider, it would have looked as if her body had slowed to a casual halt. Saya could feel the gusts of wind carry her to the ground after descending three-quarters of the way with gravity's help. She landed with a victorious smile, never having felt the tiniest bit of fear of anxiety. "Goodbye, Farvardin Aegle Academy!" She gave the school a two-finger salute before turning and running...
Right into a colossal form of height and muscle.
Saya fell back, too clumsy to save herself with any sort of balancing trick. She had made it away from Osamu Hall, but not any farther than the boys dormitory. "Ouch." The girl whined, peeking up at the figure that had unintentionally blocked her escape.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? The sheer force of the punch sent Fyordnn stumbling back a few feet before being caught in the arms of another classmate, one of the spectators who had gathered to watch the fight unfold. He blinked slowly for a few seconds, reeling from the hard blow his head had just taken. " Tha was actially a petty good 'n..." he mumbled, barely coherent. His classmate pushed him away back towards his opponent, forcing Fyor to take a knee to regain his balance. He put one hand up as an indication to wait while the other held his skull. A moment later he shook his head and stood to face his adversary, a giant of a student that probably had more muscle in his arms than Fyordnn had in his body. Almost every half-beast on earth retained some physical trait of their animal alteration, and the boy's sheer brawn was the tell-tale of his bear form. The fact that most of his kind would have ears or claws while he had only size to speak of was a statement in itself of just how large he was. Fyor, a four and a half foot tall wood elf, had picked a fight with someone who was potentially one of THE largest students in the school without the aid of magic.
Both of them had removed their shirts in the tradition of brawling (if you could give 'traditions' to such things). Fyordnn was small and thin, but very fit. He had exceptional muscle for someone of his size, but unfortunately was still someone of his size. The student across from him barely looked like he was within five years of the elf's age, though Fyor was actually a year or so older. The bear stood at least three feet taller than Fyor's tiny stature, with most of his limbs almost as thick as the smaller fighter's torso, easily bigger than his head. Looking at the match up, most people in the small group that had gathered to watch would assume that the larger boy was harassing the tiny elf, though any of the students that knew said elf would quickly explain otherwise. The fight had started somewhere along the lines of Fyor asking about what relations the student's mother had had with a bear to make him a half-beast. While only a joke, nobody doubted that Fyordnn was looking for a good reaction, and when he got one, things just went downhill until punches were being thrown. Truth be told, even he didn't really know why he made the comment, he certainly didn't have anything against the bear to begin with, but he couldn't argue with the comment's results. He was fighting someone who could literally be described as twice his size, and that was apparently what he'd been after because he was content with it. As one got older and bigger they needed to do bigger things to feel the rush of life.
With his balance back completely, he rushed in under the student's next swing, jumping up to hook his arm around the back of the neck, and bringing his knee up into his midsection. He could hear the bear loose some breath over the assault and felt his stumble back from it briefly, but instead of falling back or crumpling like a normal person should have, he tore the elf off of his throat and slammed him face down onto the ground as if he weighed nothing, which, in comparison, he probably didn't. Fyor shook it off quickly and started pushing himself up off the ground when he felt a train hit his ribcage. The kick pulled his whole body off the ground and landed face up a short distance away from where he started. "Oh for the love of..."he growled, gritting his teeth and rolling ever so slightly in pain. He could feel it, 'Three ribs broken, two cracked.’ he thought to himself, analyzing just how bad the damage was. Fyordnn knew his way around injuries quite well, mostly because he had sustained most of them before. Familiar pain was a familiar injury, between his classes and his experience, he could tell what was damaged based on how it hurt and where. He cursed and rolled over painfully, turning on the side that didn't take the blow. He grit his teeth for a moment and shut his eyes with his forehead on the ground, though his lips were moving in an almost silent uttering as he summoned the healing arts he had. As the last word left his lips, easily mistook for more cursing by those standing around, he felt his broken ribs move gently back into place and refuse. The small fragments of marrow that were left sitting around inside him dissolved until they were nothing but specs of calcium, easily absorbed by his body from the inside, and much less painful than pieces of jagged bone being thrown around his organs.
With a twisted smirk he pushed himself up off the ground and looked at the half-bear. "Alright, " he said with a tone to match his cocky grin, "I'll give ye' that one, that hurt. But I hope you've got more than that to offer." The student's face at this remark made clear his feelings towards Fyordnn's response to such a fierce blow. "You might want to call it quits soon, before you hurt yourself, I can do this all day." Fyor added with a more playful smile. It was true to a point, Fyordnn had studied healing magic well enough over his years, even before coming to school, that he could keep himself up and running so long as he could talk, and as most people knew, the elf could almost always talk. Though despite that, he wasn't sure who'd get tired first. He knew he had at least three, maybe four throwing knives hidden in his pants, but had not intention of using them, that was stupid even for him. 'Oh well...guess we'll just keep at it then.' He started to rush forward again, hoping this time to land a strike closer to the head. He stopped himself short, though, when he realized his opponent wasn't even looking at him anymore. More than that, the boy even turned away from him. "'Ey, come, on now," he shouted out, "I may not be much in height but that's just insulting." The half-bear glanced to him and back as his only acknowledgement. Fyordnn moved over to see what the delay was about and found a girl on the other side of the large student, formerly hidden entirely by his bulk. From the looks of it she had plowed straight into him, though Fyor hadn't seen any sign of it from the front. Her face was familiar somehow; his eyes narrowed trying to place her features. After a few moments it clicked. The two had never met, but she was the runaway, of course she was familiar, everyone had heard about her. Rumor had it that she hadn't let a day pass since enrollment without booking it. No matter, her life was her life. Everyone had a story; hers no doubt gave her a reason for such a fierce desire to leave. "You beating up little girls now, is that it?" he called over, trying to get the boy's attention back. He couldn't just walk away while he was distracted, he'd never live it down, he'd rather just lose than do that. No response. He walked up to the half-bear, irritated and grabbed his shoulder, though stretching was needed, "Hey, fuzzy-wuzzy, I'm still-" he stopped short when the bear turned and plowed his fist into Fyor's gut, successfully knocking all of the air out of his lungs and sending him to his knees. His mouth formed insults and curses but none of them were able to make sound from airless lungs. Apparently the half-bear had not been so distracted that he'd forgotten about him after all, all he'd needed was a physical reminder. Lucky him. Tσ∂αy's Gσαℓ? Experience true, heart-stopping, adrenaline-pumping chασs.

Lyoko Faraday Lyoko hated this place. Sure it was nice, and sure the classes were pretty promising in terms of what she'd been learning so far, but Lyoko was quite unhappy. She had no freedom, now that she had a roommate, the girl had to walk around everywhere with her. Lyoko wasn't some sort of baby that needed to be watched every hour of the day! Even her parents had understood that she needed her space and her outside time, when her mother had made her do chores around the house, there were both outside and inside chores that she would do (with Lyoko also doing her younger sister's outside chores as well) and her brothers had allowed her plenty of outside time when she helped them plant and harvest the fields as well as herd the animals... They had to get their fresh meat from somewhere after all. Plus neither her mother nor her brothers were ever hanging over her while she worked, they just left her to it which Lyoko had greatly appreciated. But here... It was like eyes were always watching, always making sure you didn't do anything wrong. She growled lowly and rolled over.
Strangely enough, Lyoko was on the roof of the Philomena building, it was her way of getting away from her room mate who she would have to meet sooner or later. Closing her eyes, Lyoko enjoyed the peace of simply being up on the roof, but her fingers soon started twitching, itching for something to do. She was an active woman, and didn't like to be idle for too long. 'Maybe I should go get some training in with my cestus...' She idly wondered, lightly touching a pocket of her blouse where the familiar gloves were located. A blouse, as many would know, is something completely unheard of during this time, in all honesty, it was a men's shirt (one of her brother's that she managed to pilfer) altered to her satisfaction. One good thing about being a girl is that she knew how to mend and alter clothes, so creating a more girlish figure out of the button up shirt was easy, plus, Lyoko thought it looked pretty good. Slowly standing up and stretching, it would become evident that she was wearing men's trousers and a comfortable pair of boots. Truly, she was a bit odd for a young lady. She wasn't too fond of skirts and dresses because the restricted movement, and while she did have a couple skirts in her room, she didn't wear them unless she really needed to. As Lyoko was stretching, a familiar tingle went up her spin and she grinned, knowing exactly what it was.
Her eyes quickly scanned the area around the Philomena building. While she couldn't spot anything yet, her sensitive ears were picking up the sounds of voices and she was getting a little excited in spite of herself. Leaning over the side of the building almost to the point of being dangerous, she finally spotted a small group of people gathered a little ways away, somewhat close to the Osamu building from the looks of it. Why was it that no one was stopping them...? Meh, those were thoughts to think over later, right now she wanted in on the action, and she could make the argument that she was either trying to stop the fight or trying to help defend someone, whichever was appropriate for the situation. Deciding she'd take the fast way down, she hopped off the side of the building.
Of course, Lyoko wasn't superhuman (well, of course she is a Lycan but that's besides the point), a fall from a two story building to the ground would definitely hurt, so there was nothing ridiculous happening that included her just jumping off the building and landing on the ground. Instead of the aforementioned action, she instead hopped off the building, fell for a little before grabbing on to a second story windowsill. Another fall would allow her to grab on to the first floor windowsill, and from that it was let go and end the slightly prolonged fall with a roll so as not to hurt herself. Lightly brushing herself off, she then took off at a healthy sprint towards the scene of the fight. She could feel the adrenaline rush through her as she ran and she embraced the feeling as her eyes glowed their beautiful emerald green color. They changed color often depending on how she was feeling. When her emotions would start to swell, they would begin to flicker golden, which meant she was getting closer and closer to feral. Her eyes would turn blue when she turned to her wolf form, it was just a nice little quirk of being a lycan.
It took her a mere minute or so before she stopped where the group was standing watching the fight for whatever reason. Scoffing lightly, she pushed past them and forcefully put herself to the front, to see one of the biggest people in the school fighting one of the smallest. She recognized the elf though... She was almost positive he was in one of her classes, she just couldn't remember which one it was. The bear man was in a scuffle with him and had just given him a sharp punch to the gut, a girl visible from behind the big man. Lyoko wasn't really sure why the girl was there, but pushing that from her mind, she quickly stepped forward out of the group, her 5'11" figure a bit imposing to most people around her. Stepping a bit behind the elf keeping a respectful distance if this was some sort of honor fight, Lyoko had her hands at her sides, lightly flexing in anticipation as she asked "Need a hand? Or shall I leave you men to your fighting?" It was obvious by the way that she said the latter part of her question that she didn't want that one to be chosen. if the elf were to look backwards, then he would see a rather severe woman, with her long flowing white hair free of any restraints since she didn't like putting it up. He would be able to see that she had power to her, but if he wanted to do this on his own there was nothing she could do. She respected a single-handed fight, there was pride and honor at stake in a single-handed fight sometimes.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] There was so much more to her surroundings than Saya had expected. She was so consumed by thoughts of escaping that she had jumped the gun a bit - again - and distracted herself with blissful thoughts of freedom before she ever got close to obtaining it... again. Learning from her mistakes sounded so much easier than it was in reality, especially when these were the very reasons for quite a few failed attempts. Her concentration only stretched so far. It was the reason studies were so difficult for her, thus making her a private tutors worst nightmare. Not that they had to worry about her anymore. In fact, they were out of a job ever since the Academy opened its oh-so-generous arms and whisked the young girl away, to live happily ever after in an oddity-embracing environment with all her fellow peers. Yeah right.
All of that was besides the point, however. The girl found a sizable crowd of magically-inclined students watching the scene fold out with unhindered amusement. The bulk of flesh her clumsy self knocked into happened to an eager competitor, one she did not recognize immediately, nor care to remember. Apparently Saya's entrance, lacking all the grace a half-sylph should be able to muster, had distracted him, and she met a pair of perplexed eyes without any sign of embarrassment but instead with all the defiance in the world. Oh, and did I mention she was angry? That much was completely clear, her expression demanding an answer to the ruckus outside the Azubike Dormitory. Her thoughts had gone into over-drive, and not one of them were positive, but all was analyzing the current situation. The fight had attracted a crowd that effectively slowed down any and all of her escape attempts for the day, meaning soon someone would be by to apprehend her, no doubt carting her off to another lecture she would promptly ignore and sending her back off to her prison cell... er, dorm room. On top of this fact, even without the crowd her barely started run away had come to a stand still because of the two brawlers, the big one specifically. She came to also realize that the fight would be attracting authoritative figures any second. Saya didn't have to crash into anyone to be screwed; this fight had already decided her fate.
When her temper sparked, the wind around the area (stretching out to cover about a twenty foot radius in every direction) began to react to the sudden change in her emotions. By the time the smaller, more familiar student was brought to his knees, Saya's eyes had become hidden in the shadows of her bangs, a nice little ominous effect she hadn't at all intended to create. The gentle breeze was turning into something sticky and tense, disturbing the loose clothing of anyone nearby. The teen slowly picked herself off the ground, brushing the bit of dirt off her clothes. She cleared her throat in order to grab the half-beasts attention, her hair lashing lightly at her neck and shoulders as the wind began to disturb that, too. The activity was surrounded around her, all the air currents most violent where her body stood. "Do you have any idea just how long and how hard I've been trying to escape? Hm? Or that today was my single, more important opportunity, perfect in almost every way, shape, and form?" Small, alienated currents surrounded her fist to the point where the air was almost visible, strange strands of pure white and a very light teal circling pale skin. "I suppose not, because you decided to have a brawl in the middle of the freaking yard!"
Before Saya was positive that this was the course of action she wished to take to express her rage, she had already gone ahead and acted. She watched her own fist fly through the air, shooting up to reach the side of the enormous figure's face but coming to a halt just before her knuckles made contact. In the same second that the punch should have hit its mark full on, the currents of air around her tightly clenched fist released themselves, exploding outward as Saya's fist relaxed. The hunk of muscle and startling height was thrown backward, the crowd clambering to move out of his path. She heard a groan, low and distinct, as she ignoring the reactions of her peers.
While the bear-related half-beast composed himself, the aristocratic daughter glanced over at his former victim with an expression devoid of sympathy. "Don't think I am so dimwitted that I did not notice that this whole mess was your doing either." Her voice was far more composed than her physical actions proved her to be, frustration driving the need to express the emotion. A breeze whispered a warning in her ear then, her head snapping in the direction of the wood elf's former opponent. Apparently this man wasn't so adverse to striking women. His arm swung out in a powerful fashion and would have caught her by the neck, had she not been seriously underestimated. While her full potential regarding speed had been left unlocked up to this point, that did not mean she was at all slow. She ducked down in one fluid movement, kicking out her leg and swinging it toward the half-beasts (this time without any magical assistance) to knock him off his feet in a more cliched fashion.
Saya shot up into a standing position just as her new adversary literally jumped back to his feet. The girl leaped backward, avoiding a jab to the gut just barely... or not. What looked like a near miss became a nearly completed hit, her opponent stepping forward to extend the area covered by his blow. She grimaced when it hit, tossed back as if weighing nothing and sent rolling in the dirt when a follow-up attack, consisting of the man chasing after her and throwing his body's full weight directly into her from the side, changed her directions and sent her down into the ground at a sharp perpendicular to her original route. She made a mental note that any full blows were not at all worth risking when this hurt so badly. It felt like his fist exploded at her gut, but she did notice with a triumphant little smile that she had already left a nice bright bruise on under his eye. This sight grabbed her attention when Saya crawled back to her feet, temporarily suppressing the pain the echoed through her form. Not that it meant too much, because she wasn't quitting until he was down.
His leg twitched, just slightly but enough that the a garbled warning was again whispered softly in her ear - a kick was coming - and fast. Saya soared into the air, pushing off the ground with more than simple leg strength. She grabbed the opposite shoulders with each of her hands, pulling herself up and pushing down on her palms for balance so her body flipped into an upside down position in the air above his head. Luckily, her kimono wasn't so unrestricting that it betrayed her in that moment. Instead of landing behind him, her back to his, as all assumed she would, she curved her body at such an angle that allowed her legs to land on top of his shoulders, her hands moving out of the way at the last possible second. Arching herself back without a moment of hesitation, her legs from the knee down locked the man's neck into place, one limp crossing over the other.
Obviously, Saya's weight and body strength weren't nearly enough to throw the man to the ground in this manner, but she had never agreed to any "no magic" terms and thus called on magic to aide her. Her hands reached out for the ground as her fighting style at once demonstrated the hereditary grace an earlier fall had not, air quickly manipulating to her whims so it swirled itself into a loop, coming diagonally up from the ground and back down into it. Onlookers watched as dirt flew into the air, concentrated wind shooting into the ground, like a wide bullet or a directed mini-tornado, and changing its course only to meet the other end of the loop. Two such nearly invisible "chains" were made identically, her mouth moving furiously to chant spells to boost the effects of her magic. Saya's hands wrapped around them and she summoned all her strength, including the wind that wrapped around the half-beasts feet to lift him slightly into the air, to throw her legs forward and send the man sprawling wildly through the air. He didn't get too far from the female teen at all, so when he landed roughly on the ground, she sprinted to approach him. Her hand was in the air, only her index finger and center finger outstretched. These two fingers were waved about in what was an intricate pattern through the open air at closer examination before Saya thrust her arm downward and sent a tunnel of compressed pressure shooting out from her now open palm and into the man's chest.
When her fight was won, the pain the girl suffered from came rushing back and she stumbled away from the half-beast, face twisted in a pained grimace. "Ouch. That REALLY hurts now." She mumbled, though she was unable to keep a seemingly innocent smile from her face. "But I do feel a lot more better now~! That fight really did the trick." Unlike her promise, she had completely forgotten about the wood elf. She hadn't even bothered to notice the most recent arrival, a girl with stunning white hair, either.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? Fyor closed his eyes both in pain and in preparation for the beating he expected to follow the initial punch. He knew things were about to hurt, and this time he knew he'd be stuck with the damage. He was good at healing, he could do it longer than most people without getting worn out, effeciently managing his magical and physical endurance. Healing was in his blood and practically second nature, he could summon up spells of mending even with shaky concentration or sever pain running through him. At least that's how it was when healing himself, healing others was still on it's way to mastery. Regardless, he could fix himself of most things, probably just about any physical damage, but he couldn't do it without air in his lungs. Some races were gifted in magic to the point that they were capable of mute casting, often in regards to elements. Wood elves and healing was not one of those cases, he could heal quite well, but every spell had to be uttered vocally, he couldn't just heal on the fly. With the air knocked out of him, unable to put the words in the air to heal himself, he knew that whatever flurry of pain came next, it would be with him for a little while. Surprisingly though, the next thing to come to his attention wasn't a blow to the face, but a voice from just behind him. Not one of the same voices from the crowd, urging on one side or the other, but one atually addressing them.
He turned his head quickly to see who'd delayed the expected blow, and cocked his head curiously at the sight. The girl behind him was not just taller than him, but significantly so, rivaling the giant that had just destroyed his stomach. She most definitely shared classes with him, of that much he was certain, but the name escaped him, as many often did. Something with an 'L', at least he thought. She also seemed to carry herself with an attitude that matched her height, making it a wonder he couldn't recall her name. What caught him off gaurd the most, however, was her offer. He certainly didn't expect anyone to join in on the brawl at hand, most people were content to just watch and be entertained in some odd way. The elf tried briefly to answer then stopped and held up a finger in a waiting gesture. His breath was coming back, but trying to talk wouldn't get him very far yet. Breathing was a nice start.
Before he could finish catching his breath, he felt his assailant's giant frame blow past him unexpectantly. His focus shot back around to where the half-bear had been standing moments ago, where now only the runaway girl stood. For a moment all he could do was stare in shock. The girl behind him had asked to fight. The girl in front of him had forgone the request altogether and attacked a giant. The runaway was in classes with him as well, though he'd never really taken notice of her, or realized she was the infamous escapist. Though finally looking her over he wasn't how he hadnt taken notice before. The girl never seemed to wear the same clothing styles as the other females, or not once had her hair been anything but falling where it pleased(at least not once by his bad memory). As she turned her attention on him, he silently cursed his lack of observational skills. In the school, varied as it was, this girl was as hard to miss as he was(only more so since his height made him literally easy to miss), and yet he had also never learned HER name.He could only smirk some at her accusation. Despite her unexpected move against the half-bear, intimidation rarely took it's full effect on the elf, not in the middle of a fight. A fight that two people were now intruding on. As breath came back to him he sighed shallowly at the invasion, but there was no helping it now that the new girl had literally blown away his opponent with magic, or at least what he hoped was magic and not some disturbing strength hidden in her frame. As she continued her assault on the other student, Fyor could only watch, with a hint of pity for the half beast that was now being decimated by the magic they had silently agreed not to use. "I...I think he...that's...oooh..." he muttered, trying a few times to throw words in, but then pulling back as another strike would land on the large student. He pushed himself off the ground and backed up to the white-haired girl, her hair also down in the fashion that was rare on the shcool grounds, still holding his gut with one arm. "She's insane. No question. Absolutely crazy." he said off-handedly as he watched her finish the fight he'd started, shaking his head slowly.
Quiet whispers from the gathered students, along with their expressions pulled Fyor's attention away from the fight to follow a few students' glances. As he turned he could make out a few figures coming across the school grounds, very obviously teachers who had gotten word of the day's entertainment. 'Darn it all, who made it a big deal? This is why I hate spectators...can't just have a good round of fists...' He turned back around, eye noticeably wider than they had been a few moments ago, and dashed forward, brushing by the psychotic young runaway. "Ohhhhh no...no no no...no no no no...." he stammered under his breath kneeling down beside the student she had kindly beaten up for him. Fyordnn did stupid things, fought stupid fights, and took stupid risks, but one thing he did not enjoy was being caught doing them. Thus far he'd made it through school acting up here and there, but had avoided being assigned a mentor and being moved to 'those' dorms. Everyone knew who started the fight, and it wasn't the student who was immobilzed on the ground at the moment. This would be a very bad instance for teachers to come upon. "Ok...ok...let's see..." he said quietly to himself, looking the half-bear over for injuries. He took as deep a breath as he could and shut his eyes, concentrating. He didn't have the time for a true assessment, and it was much harder to pinpoint injuries on someone who wasn't himself, so he would have to resort to one mass, general heal. He walked himself through it in his head as he spoke slowly and carefully, trying to remember all the details of the spell. Normally he could feel his own injuries, and heal exactly what needed healing, not wasting magic on anything more. It used up less energy and was the main reason that he could go so long fixing himself. Any other body was different, out of his area of experience, and wouldn't allow him to heal specific areas of pain. A short moment later he stopped speaking, putting emphasis on the very last sound out of his mouth, and opened his eyes. His hands pulsed a faint sky-blue as he hovered his palms over any area that looked injured. He kept his eyes ahead and focused, not wanting to slip up anywhere. Once he was done he pulled away and shook his hands once, the blue glow slipping off and away like it was water. "Alright, come on, time to get up let's go..." he said, just a hint of panic to his voice, nudging the bear, who was still uneager to move. No wounds meant the fight didn't happen...right?

My Most Important Rule: NO brothers, PLEASE and thank you~! Sitting on the bed in her dorm, Leafy carefully scrutinized the numerous candles that were spread out rather randomly across the room. There were nine of them, the distance between her and each candle varied, as did their level of elevation from the ground. Once Leafy felt enough confidence with herself, she pushed herself further into her bed and leaned backwards as if to get as far away from the candles as possible. She drew her hand in front of her face and made a circle using her middle finger and her thumb as if to snap her fingers. She shut an eye and placed her hand in the direction of one of the candles as if she were aiming at them. She took a deep breath and became completely silent. She was concentrating on something. "Three, two, and one!" she said quietly and calmly before snapping her fingers and chanting a spell so quick that it was barely distinguishable from a hiss. The wick of the candle she 'aimed' at instantly burst into flames. She wasted absolutely no time and changed her focus to the next candle and snapped her fingers at that one, also causing it to burst into flames. She repeated the process with admirable speed and accuracy for the third candle, and the fourth, the fifth, sixth, seventh and eight. When she got to the last one, she suddenly jumped off the bed, whispered a spell and shot her index finger at it, causing it to erupt in flames and melt all over the window sill. Leka maintained that pose for an extra few seconds before taking in a deep breath and collapsing back onto the bed. She raised her hand over her face and stared at it for a moment. It was beginning to cramp, since she was practicing ever since her roommate had left. To be honest, she didn't even need to use her hands to aim at the candles. The finger snapping was more like a rhythm for Leka to follow more than anything. If she went too fast, the chance of her slurring or stuttering a spell was much higher. It also allowed her to chant her spells at a consistent speed. Leafy shut her eyes and placed her hand on her temple. "Headache." she said with a delicate voice. "I need some air." Slowly, she lifted herself off the bed and took careful steps towards the window. She gently brushed her fingertips at the candles as she passed by them and they immediately extinguished on contact as if she was absorbing all of their heat away. She got to the window and looked down to see the puddle of wax that was flowing ever slowly. It was still warm, and still slightly transparently. She decided that it would be easier to clean up after it hardens. She flung open the windows and stuck her head so far out that she could have easily lost balance and fell. She shut her eyes and took in a big breath of fresh air, something that was lacking in the room. The headache was beginning to clear already. It was then that Leafy noticed the group of students that were by the boy's dormitory. She watched them for a bit, and it didn't take long for her to come to realization that there was a fight going on. Due to the lack of excitement in the last few days, she felt a strong urge to go down there. Why not? she thought to herself. She ran over to her bed to grab her oversized book', she flung the leather strap that was bound to it over her shoulder as if it were some sort of bag and quickly exited through the door. ______I must Always Remember.... ____"Forgiveness is the ultimate sacrifice."

Lyoko Faraday While she awaited the elf to respond (Fire...? Fern...? Farore...? No those weren't his name... She was almost positive it started with F though) Lyoko silently looked over the entire situation. The girl behind the bear half-beast was definitely familiar now that she was getting a second glance, she was the runaway, the one in the Osamu building that was infamous since day one. Lyoko always figured that no matter whether she got in the Osamu building or the Philomena building, then it would all be the same... She'd still be trapped here, and stuck here because she did want to go back to her family in the country, but she just wanted her family to understand that she didn't want to be restricted... It was terrible being restricted. Pulling herself out of her reverie, she once again refocused on the situation at hand.
The half bear in front of her probably weighed a fair amount, but a jump and kick to the head would definitely have the effect of being hit with at least a couple bricks. Being a Lycan, Lyoko was quite strong in nature, and her honing of her speed as well as her strength makes her a formidable opponent. Smirking slightly as her blood got to boiling again from the mere thought of a fight, she flexed her hands a couple times once again, resisting the urge to get in to a crouched stance, one that was easier to move around in and pounce in. Maybe she'd even get to use her cestus in the fight...? It was all so very exciting. Unfortunately, all of those thoughts were shattered when the girl in the kimono suddenly went out in a rage, and Lyoko let out a rather frustrated growl of her own as the young woman just went completely nuts on the bear looking man. Now, all chances of her getting a part in the fight were ruined. Her eyes flickered a slight golden when she growled but in the end she slunk back in to the shadows of a tree to lean against it, narrowing her eyes and watching.
While it was true that the young lady had some pretty interesting moves, she was using magic to enhance them, and Lyoko couldn't be as impressed as she might've been if there was no magic involved. The wind whipped around her, causing the clothes and hair of the spectators to fly and writhe in a chaotic matter, yet Lyoko's gaze never wavered, making her look either quite comical to someone or quite intimidating to someone else, almost like medusa or something. The moves that the girl were using though were pretty impressive, and Lyoko figured that she'd have to practice that a bit, because she was pretty sure that she could do a head crunch like that and adjust her body to throw a man as long as she trained enough to be able to do it. She'd have to find something human sized though that she'd be able to practice on... It might be difficult, but then, all the best things were. Since her arms were crossed, she lightly began tapping her fingers on her arm, waiting idle as the bear fell to the ground immobile.
Only then did the elf really start to react, he just silently watched the scene much like she had, except he was making random and slightly unnecessary commentary the entire way of which Lyoko simply ignored. When everything was finally over though, the elf panicked, thinking he would be put in Osamu hall for something as terrible as this no doubt. Fighting was a strict no in this school. Suddenly a blue light swelled over the area, and Lyoko's eyes widened as the warmth swelled over the bear, and she let out a soft sigh when it left, leaving the group of spectators amazed and some of them confused (Lyoko got a feel of it though since she could sense these things). He had great power it seemed, but judging by the panic exuding from his body, she didn't imagine he knew how to work it yet. After a bit of silence aside from the elf trying to get the big man awake, Lyoko rolled her eyes a bit and moved over towards the two of them.
For whatever reason, Lyoko was feeling like being charitable and decided she would prevent getting in too much trouble. A circle of students meant that something was happening, but the what of the matter was always a mystery until teachers managed to move the group apart. So if she gave them something to think instead of their thoughts flying to a fight, then things might work out for all of them. Putting her hands underneath the bear man, she lifted him up with a bit of an effort and put him in a standing up position. With that she lightly smacked at his cheeks saying "You idiot get up, you look like a fool passing out from something as stupid as that!" She growled, giving him a look as if she knew the man. Of course, he was out of sorts and simply groaned as he was smacked and she ended up shoving him away from her with a disgusted look. "Weakling." She scoffed, crossing her arms and moving away. "Serves him right for what he did. Maybe the child needs someone to determine his servings for him at dinner." She chuckled softly at that, turning away as if she didn't see the teachers coming towards them. Surprisingly, Lyoko was a very good actor when she wanted to be, and she could often fool people in to thinking what she wanted them to think. Showing no more concern for the boy who was beginning to stir on the ground, she headed back towards the Philomena building, as if she was tired with the entire scene when in all actuality she wasn't. If someone didn't stop her, she would end up watching what happened, but she was actually hoping someone would stop her so she could play this out a bit longer. The teachers were generally stupid, and tended to think the best of the students even if they weren't the best. Now Lyoko didn't forget about the other girl who was injured, but she had a reputation for being a trouble maker. Was it really that abnormal that she was hurt...? Lyoko was almost positive she would be able to come up with some excuse that was tangible.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] While once again reminded of the truest object of her unforgiving rage as the wood elf knelt down in front of her, Saya couldn't help but be curious. His reaction to the approaching authority figures didn't match up with his willingness to create a troublesome situation. She had been forced to stumble back a step - even the brush past her had hurt a body pushed beyond its limits, not to mention the pair of no doubt fractured ribs - but she managed to hide a grimace this time around. It was safe to say her smile had temporarily disappeared, her thoughts too occupied with examining the individual before her. Despite the brawling scene earlier, the shorter young man was healing his former opponent. She could see there was no compassion in these actions, however, and came up with different theories concerning his "act of kindness." He can not really be that wary of the professors. Saya watched as onlookers cleared a path for the stern-faced academic leaders, casting the wood elf a doubtful glance. Her grudge would have to be pushed to the side. For now at least, her curiosity regarding his intentions and the purpose behind his contradicting actions outweighed any urge to pummel him into the ground. More happened than just this, however. The slightly older girl Saya had neglected to observe had come to offer her own form of assistance, equally odd with her attached commentary. The half-beast was up and about by force now, the teachers watching the small scene unfold, no doubt taking notes.
"Return to your independent studies and hobbies immediately!" The teacher in the lead ordered, waving the surrounding students away impatiently. "Miss Tennyson." The older man growled, irritated merely by the sight of her so close to a scene of questionable attention. "I demand an explanation. What unfolded here?" His mood was not at all improved by the sweet smile and casual wave she offered at the sound of her name, as apparent by the increasingly infuriated tone in his voice. Everybody was getting angry today, it seemed. He halted just before the group, watching the three enrolled students at the center of the chaos with cautious eyes. One teacher was sent to stop the half-beast from lumbering away as the interrogation began, dazed as he appeared to be, and another ran after the white-haired girl attempting to escape.
"Good morning to you, sir." The girl curtsied, though it pained her, obviously a mocking gesture instead one of pure respect and good manners. She didn't immediately answer his question, wondering if perhaps one of the others involved might wish to try out an excuse or two before she had a go at brutal honesty, the consistent path she preferred. Unfortunately, the girl - Lyoko something-or-other, she believed - had offered a convincing little scene to make her bit of truth more difficult to present. No matter though. She didn't see why it made her words too unbelievable. "You see, the big oaf was very inconveniently placed in my path. He ruined all my plans of escaping today, I have to admit. It was very disappointing." Only half the academic advisers looked startled by this. The other half appeared pleased to hear that such a noble student would stop a dangerous girl like Saya at his own expense. This was the misunderstanding she was aiming for - she didn't hold anything against the stranger for fighting back, only for getting in her way. Those frustrations had been taken care of, so the first order of business was to clear his name before accusations could be tossed unjustly in his direction. "So I beat him to a pulp~." The girl finished in an almost sing-song voice, her smile returning. No one doubted her for a second, which was good if her quickly formulated plans were to work properly. Even Lyoko's clever little scene couldn't clear Saya's bad reputation up enough to put her in good graces. Her earlier words might be baffling upon a closer inspection, but none of the present teachers were concerned enough to go back and re-examine them to Tennyson's benefit.
The teacher leading the gang of justice seekers let out a deep sigh, shaking his head in astonishment at her actions and holding onto the side of his forehead in an attempt to soothe the oncoming headache they brought. "And Mr. Windsetter? What is his involvement?" It was the next logical question. Luckily, Saya was prepared to answer it.
"Oh, so that's his name? Thank you for the free information, sir!" The teen did not like that man before her at all and was doing everything in her power to make that clear, adding subtle touches of sarcasm to her words. "Well, Mr. Windsetter came to heal the fellow that was lying on the ground. Saves the physicians some trouble I suppose, but I don't think its quite fair myself. That Lyoko girl helped out, too." Covering for him only seemed natural, and Lyoko had dragged herself into the whole mess so her innocence had to be taken care of as well. There was something to be said for owning up to one's actions, but she wouldn't have felt right sharing her world of trouble with someone so willing to enter into it. Besides, she was used to the long lectures and annoying punishments. A little extra blame wouldn't do her any harm.
And so the headaches of the professors grew. "I see." The man grumbled. "I am sure you know the drill, Miss Tennyson. Headmistress's office before supper. I trust you will not be late as you were before." His tone was threatening, holding the weight all good authoritative figures wielded. He paused then, reaching out for the girl. Her movements were stiff ever since they showed up and it seemed very likely she might be injured from one of her victim's defenses.
With a hint of panic appearing in her expression, Saya waved away the arm of the teacher. "You will not have to drag me along, supper isn't for awhile. I will show up, you have my word." The promise was hastily spoken to shoo the man and other curious followers away as quickly as possible. Pretending to misinterpret his intentions were easy enough and did the trick, leaving the group - the half-beast, wood elf, half-sylph, and lycan - relatively alone. Their peers had, after all, dispersed at the professors first order. Saya waited until the majority of the bystanders had disappeared out of their immediate line of sight before clutching her torso as a means of support for herself. "I'll give him one thing, he really knows how to throw a good punch." She mumbled, addressing no one in particular as she gritted her teeth. She planned on bandaging herself back in her dorm.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? Fyordnn continued to nudge the large half-beast uselessly, aware that the teachers were getting closer each second. He stopped his attempts and looked up wide-eyed as the white-haired girl pulled the bear off the ground entirely and woke him up. He hadn't even been able to move the kid and she literally just yanked him off of the ground. He sat curious for a moment, trying to figure out if she also used magic to enhance her strength like the other girl, but could feel any giveaway that she had. While part of the elf was grateful for the help, another large part was insulted by just how much stronger she was than him, even if it did make sense when comparing the two physically.
The teachers had worked their way closer now, and Fyor tried to stand up and act casual, unsure if they'd seen enough or not. For a moment it seemed the tall girl was going to try and give him an out in regards to the fight, but sure enough, the company of another exceptional student made them ask questions anyway. Had the runaway not been around, he probably could have gotten away with the fight. ' Now I'm just screwed...' he thought with a heavy sigh, his lungs able to take full breaths again. He heard his last name and shut his eyes in irritation. 'Darn her, if she hadn't shown up....what?' His eyes flicked open when the runaway told her side of the story, a side that came out completely devoid of him started or taking part in the fight. He finally made eye contact with one of the teachers when they looked over at him for an assurance of her story. He shrugged lightly, trying to seem as normal as ever and they quickly turned back to the girl for a few moments more before turning and leaving.
The elf let his head fall back with a relieved sigh, almsot wanting to let his whole body fall back. He was clear. He looked from one girl to the other and back, knowing they both deserved his thanks, but he couldn't manage to give the words form. It didn't fit his normal attitude that he was concerned with being caught, which made it almost embarrassing to give thanks for the favor. With the smaller girl calling attention to her injuries, he found a way out of his confused silence. "Ya know, I could fix that." he offered with another light shrug. He wasn't going to put up a life-debt to either of these girls but a favor for a favor was reasonable. "You did sort of help me out anyway. Why did you help me? Why did either of you help me?" he looked from one to the other curiously. It didn't make sense to him, he didn't know either of them, and he had started the brawl to begin with, because he wanted to. "You do know I chose to have that fight. I never asked for help." His tone was a mix of suspicion and confusion. He always got himself into trouble, and he always had to get himself out of it. """"

Lyoko Faraday As Lyoko was walking away, she heard one of the teachers practically growl at the troublemaker girl for an explanation, and in a matter of seconds Lyoko heard footsteps coming towards her. Before the teacher in question could touch Lyoko, she suddenly turned and glared at the teacher before saying softly in a warning voice "Don't touch me." This teacher seemed to be one of the submissive ones because at those words he seemed surprised and retracted his hand, not wishing to cause trouble. Before he could ask her to come back and be interrogated, Lyoko brushed past him pretty much ignoring him as she headed back to that tree she was under before. It wasn't too close to the group, but at least the teachers would know she wasn't still trying to walk away from them.
Lyoko was still a bit fuzzy on the names of both the people involved, but once she heard the last name of the girl a light went off in her head. Her name was Saya! Normally, if Lyoko heard part of a name then she could remember the other part, now she just needed to hear the elf's last name and she'd be good. At the sound of his last name which was Windsetter, Lyoko had to ponder for a moment but sure enough, she came up with Fyor... Yeah that sounded right, though Lyoko was pretty sure that was an abbreviation of his full-name, but getting his nickname was good enough. She silently listened to the rest of the conversation, also a little curious as to why Saya was deciding to help them out. Lyoko had gotten herself involved because she simply wanted a part of the fight for some exercise, fighting a human was definitely more interesting then fighting a dummy, and she didn't mind a terribly large amount if she got caught, because so far, she hadn't actually thrown any punches.
Now that the teachers had ambled off after demanding to see Saya later in the day, there was a brief silence between the group of people gathered. The half-bear was still standing there and Lyoko wandered over to him and pushed him rather roughly in the direction of the boy's dorm before saying in a cold voice "Get out of here." Lo and behold he did, not wishing to get pummeled again and still probably feeling rather disoriented from everything that had happened. Now that it was just them, Lyoko crossed her arms and watched the other two with her forest green eyes, wondering who would speak first. In the end it was Saya who was clutching her torso and complimenting the bear's punch. Looking after the bear figure who was still wandering off, Lyoko could definitely understand that his punch held a significant amount of power, but she couldn't help thinking his punches were also somewhat slow due to the power they held. She had no comment to say to Saya however and simply stayed quiet.
Finally looking back over at Fyor, the elf looked stunned and amazed which Lyoko couldn't help but grin at. It seems like a couple of girls helped him out; talk about a hit to the manly pride. Now Lyoko was pretty much done with this scene, she was about ready to go and leave until Fyor looked at the both of them and asked why they had helped. Mulling that over for a moment, Lyoko said "Whim." as her reason. She had no plans to help him again, and she had no plans to not help him again. Plus, lifting up the bear had a nice sense of satisfaction to it since she now knew she could lift up just about anyone in the school. Deciding she'd stay just a little bit longer to see what the little group assembled had to say, Lyoko crossed her arms as she stood to give them something to do. With that she looked between the girl and the elf, being a woman of few words as usual.

Harmony___Saya___Tennyson____[[ Name's Saya. And don't you dare call me Minnie. ]] Saya hadn't expected either of the two to say another word to her, so when the elf did she looked surprised due tot more than just his offer. An offer that, by the way, was met with pure and sincere appreciation. "Really? I wouldn't mind that at all, if it isn't too much trouble." At first she had been too naive to see that this was favor exchanged for the favor she offered to him. This offer appeared more like an act of kindness than any healing he had freely given up until that point. It had been obvious the half-beast was patched up for Mr. Windsetter's own good and not necessarily his own, but somehow she had given him the benefit of the doubt despite that and credited him with some uncharacteristic compassion for others. Her mind had started its own little game without her permission, to summarize. The wood elf was in the process of being assigned traits not at all related to anything he had said or done thus far just for the fun of it. Saya carefully separated fact from fantasy before speaking again, giving Lyoko her chance to answer first, not wanting to botch up her chances of being healed.
The teen couldn't help but notice that the second girl's reasoning wasn't far off from her own. Instead of merely copying or elaborating on her single but explanatory word choice though, she decided it was better to be more straightforward with her thoughts on the matter. "Well you didn't look too happy about getting in trouble. I'm used to it, so I didn't see why I shouldn't just take the blame." Saya smiled, a mischievous hint to it this time. There was still the Headmistress to worry about, but she had already come up with a way to handle that. "I still have a bone to pick with you, too." Her eyes flashed dangerously. As he admitted, he was the source of the single and most crucial obstacle in her path. Well, he hadn't admitted that exactly, but being the cause of the brawl led to that conclusion. "But I suppose I owed you one, for intruding on your fight. So that can wait until later." Honest to a fault was the impression she left. Saya's original goal was to be careful not to give him reason to change his mind about helping her out of injury-fix, but instead she had accidentally provided him reason to walk away.
"Is that good enough reason for you?" So, to sum it up, she had listed her reasons as, 1) because I don't mind it and, 2) that she actually owed him a favor for jumping into the middle of his fight. She didn't expect an answer to her question, so she tried to shift her weight to see if it made standing any more comfortable. The movement only irritated her injuries so she gave up on that pretty fast. Even if she was all healed up, she might have put her escape attempts on hold. This had been her first physical fight, and as such all eyes would be on her from that point onward. Eager to leave as she was, Saya wasn't stupid. She wouldn't ruin better chances by wasting her time challenging near impossibilities. This was disappointing, but also a chance to really analyze her options. Violin practice could kill time as well and was a great way to get the creative juices flowing.
And that gave her idea. "Oh! To pay you back for healing me I could play a song for you." See, the way she saw it, they were already even. Saya interrupted the brawl and so she took the blame that came from eager-to-punish professors. If he helped numb down the pain, than that left her in debt to him (again), right? "I realize it isn't much but I don't have anything else to offer as means of compensation." It wasn't like they were close friends. It didn't seem right taking up his generous offer for nothing at all.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where's your gavel? The small elf let out a passive sigh once everyone but the two girls had left. He wasn't sure if this instance would leave the half-beast with a grudge against him or the Tennyson girl. No matter, really, one option made it not his problem, and the other still left him not caring that it was. In the meantime, he had an offer to follow through with with the runaway. Though the tall girl had managed to grab his interest with her short answer to his question. Not because he was surprised, really, but because that was generally his answer for most of his actions. Fights, risks, anything of the like: almost all on whim. Granted this was only one instance, and he couldn't gauge her on such, but it caught his attention all the same. "Alright," he said, moving on and turning to get his shirt off the ground where the fight had started. "tell me exactly where the pain is focused, I don't like waste'n energy on spells that are more than I need." he slipped his undershirt on and slid the light jacket on over it, walking back to her side and kneeling down in front of her.
"'Ey, you're both in my classes right? You're the wolf-girl from my healing class?"he asked, glancing back at the Lycan for a moment away from the runaway's stomach. "And you are the windmage from the elemental magic one...Maybe YOU should transfer into healing if you're going to be fighting like that. Anyway, I don't remember either of you, least not names." he added bluntly. Fyordnn didn't like beating around the bush or pretending to know names he didn't, he wasn't the type to be formal about introductions, or to care about them being awkward. He gently shut his eyes a moment and muttered something under his breath, letting the last word slip gracefully out of his lips again as the blue light reformed around his hands.
That was how healing worked for Fyor, the casting was an art, even down to how the words were spoken. The relaxing blue color tending to accompany all of his healing spells, though naturally different spells manifested different ways. He didn't yet know the extent of the runaway's injuries, but from her actions it was apparent that it was damage to her ribs, which the spell he'd just readied would be good for regardless."So you do that and turn around and play the strings..."His voice was calmer now, gentle and without the tone of energy or cockiness. He had to concentrate, and that meant relaxing himself as much as possible, otherwise, talking while healing just wouldn't work for him.
