USA vs. England, we've fought wars like this before. And we usually win. Therefore we shall prevail at soccer. Go USA! xd

I was never much of a football fan... I can enjoy watching but I usually just don't. I'm seeing a guy who moved here several years ago from Uruguay. I think he's mourning.

Sockers Aww, I was so hoping for England to win. The US got that goal by sheer luck. I think the whole of England was near tears when our goalie let that ball in. I know I was. sad I wasn't impressed with England's preformance at all! : We got given an extra 4 mins to turn it around and we just... neutral didn't do anything! We let the USA get a few shots and didn't even think about attacking. I get too passionate about football haha. >0>

It's like they completely lost their steam the second round.

Japan won. o.o I didn't follow the World Cup, but when I saw many entries in Japanese on Lang-8 congratulating Japan on their victory, I figured that Japan must have won the World Cup or something.

Well Japan has never gotten this far in the world cup outside of Japan, so it is reason to celebrate xd
Maybe they can even win the whole thing. Go underdogs! 3nodding
