Winning entry for the shiny Jolteon during Extra's Rp event, June 2010.

Click to show.Jypsum sauntered into her and Kohl's shared room at the newly restored Trotting Turtwig Inn, Casanova in toe, sore but content. Just because she was bruised head to toe didn't mean she couldn't play a rousing game of keep away. Kiyo's voice would probably be shot for days after all the yelling he did with his already irritated throat.

As she set her things down, she heard the scrabble of claws and saw a green flash dart into the bathroom.
She was wary. Maybe it was another Electrike like on the trip to here? If so, it could be just as aggressive. She inched her way to the bathroom door and peeked her head around the door frame. There, hiding behind the toilet was definitely NOT an Electrike.
The pokemon's spiky fur was dappled green and white, with a white ruff around it's neck. It's large ears were pinned back from nervousness, and it's large blue eyes watched her and the Raichu carefully as it crouched in it's unsuccessful hiding spot.
"S-so cute." Jypsum whispered. She didn't know what pokemon it was, but it was sure adorable.

Casanova came forward, making friendly advances toward the wary creature.

Well, I know it's female. Jypsum thought dryly as the womanizing electric mouse seemed to try to sweet talk the green mystery pokemon out of hiding. It almost seemed to be working too, if the way it's ears started perking up had any bearing on the creature's mood. The now intent animal seemed to be glancing between Casanova and Jypsum... no, not her, Cas' tail! As the Raichu talked, his tail moved when he gestured, which was catching the pokemon's attention! Years of living her mother's cat pokemon warned the teen of what was about to happen as the pokemon's rear gave the tell-tale wiggle and Casanova's tail gave a final twitch.

"Cas, watch out!" she whispered, but was too late. With a cry of "Jolt!" the mysterious green pokemon pounced on Casanova's bandaged tail.
"CHAU!" Cas yelled, leaping away and climbing up to the top of the bathroom cupboard. "Raichu RAI!?" he demanded, gingerly cradling the now stinging tail.
"Jolt jolt! Jolteon!" called the Jolteon from below, pacing back and forth as it starred up at it's escaped quarry.
Wait, Jolteon? Aren't Jolteon supposed to be yellow? Jypsum asked herself, staring at the electric eeveelution. That must mean that... this is a shiny Jolteon?

Jypsum was shocked to say the least. Here her Breeder sister (who was most likely to know things about pokemon genetics) had made shiny pokemon out to be these amazingly rare things (like mew or unicorns or filling Chinese food), and she sees not one, but TWO in the space of one trip.
It's official, Jeo's full of it. she thought to herself.

Cas chose that moment to make a break for the bedroom. He leaped down from the cupboard, landing a foot or so from the door, and raced for the hutch in the room. The shiny pokemon was hot on his tail, nearly pouncing on him before he scaled the tall piece of furniture and was out of reach. It prowled the base, chattering a bit from frustration of the missed catch.

Jypsum walked slowly towards the Lightening pokemon. "Hey little one. Leave Cas alone now, I'd rather not have to tell my sister I got her Raichu eaten." she said in a soothing voice. The Jolteon stared at her in bewilderment before streaking under the bed. The young trainer sighed. Well at least she isn't focused on eating Cas anymore. chimed her thoughts. She knelt down, pulling a bag of pokéchow out of her bra. (...what? Oh come on, you can't say you haven't kept things there before! It's the safest place to keep something! Who's going to steal it without being noticed? Yeah, that's what I thought.) "Come on little bit, I won't hurt you. I've got something delicious for you." Jypsum said, opening the bag and holding out a treat where it could be seen by the hidden Jolteon. At Casanova's delighted squeak she gave him a pointed glare. It conveyed the fact that, if he came down and took this food, he would be in a world of pain.

He stayed put.

Soon, a green muzzle poked it's head out from under the bed. The muzzle became a head. The head became a torso. And finally, the Jolteon came out from under the bed completely to sniff at the food.
"My sister made that." Jypsum said in a low voice. "She's very good at making pokéchow."
The green eon jumped a bit at her voice, but did not run. She daintily took a piece of the offered food. It was quite acceptable it seemed, for the electric pokemon was licking her hand clean and searching for more. When the young trainer had grabbed another handful and the eeveelution was properly distracted, she reached up with her free hand and started to pet her.

At first she stopped eating and looked at the young girl, but Jypsum made reassuring noises and tried to convey warmth and affection through her expression. Eventually she let her nervousness go for the sake of food, and started to enjoy the treatment the girl was giving her.

After the food was gone and the Jolteon's hunger stated, the pokemon layed down with her head on Jypsums lap as the girl continued rhythmically stroking the top of her head.

"Would you like to stay with me, little one?" Jypsum asked. The contented sigh and nuzzled hand were a good enough answer for her, so the youngest Stone sister reached into her bra again (don't judge me.) and pulled out the Safariball she'd been given for this trip. "Welcome to my team, little bit." she said, and tapped the ball softly onto the Jolteon's head.

Title: Tired of Training
Character(s): Mellow & Casanova
Location: Katarina
Timeframe: sometime after their mock-contest(to be added)
WC: 551

User Image
User ImageThe group of pokemon and humans trudged in after a particularly hard day of contest training. As Jeo and Jypsum walked away to talk strategy and improvement, Mellow flopped down next to the couch, unwilling to even expend the energy to jump up onto it.

"That was quite the practice, if I do say so myself" Casanova remarked as he hopped up to where she would have been. He didn't even seem phased by the exertions of the day. It annoyed the young jolteon to no end.
"Ugh, get away from me you are the worst." she grumbled, rolling over and refusing to look at the raichu.
"You're just cross because I beat you." he said matter-of-factly.
"Yes, yes I am." the mottled pokemon harumphed.
"Oh come on, you can't expect to win every time." he pointed out, prodding her back with his long tail. "At least you did better in the creative portion than I did."
"That's because it's my specialty." the jolteon explained.
"Which is why I beat you in battle, it's my specialty." was the raichu's retort.
"Hmph whatever."
"You just need more practice little one." he said condecendingly, reaching down and patting her on the head. Mellow's nose wrinkled with annoyance.

"Yeah well practice this!" she yapped and quickly leapt up onto the couch, pouncing on the mouse pokemon before he could escape.
"Oof! Get your spiky rear off me!" he cried, tring to push her off but becoming too lost in all her fluff.
"Oooo examining my rear are you? Not very gentelmanly of you." the jolteon teased, nipping at his flaining tail.
"I'll be gentelmanly when I don't have your fur in my nostils!" came his muffled screams. He suddenly stopped struggling. "...do I smell watermellon?"
"Oh my god stop it you creep!" Mellow yelped, quickly jumpping off of him onto the other side of the couch.
Cas lauged. "Hey, it got you off me didn't it?"
The jolteon blew a raspberry at him. "Pththththp! How does anyone think you're smooth? You are actually just a huge butt." she huffed.
"Hey if we're talking about big butts I'm not the one that's got the biggest in this room." he shot back, giving her a meaningful look.
"Wow rude." she deadpaned.
"Don't worry, I like your big butt."
"Oh my god, I am too tired for this! I'm taking a nap so shut your dumb face."

Cas began to get up off the couch. "Well alright I'll just go then."
Mell snorted. "Hey, I said shut up not leave. I need you to act as a pillow after all." she said airily.
"Wow you really won me over with that one, how could I refuse?" was the mouse pokemon's flat reply, but he came over and flopped down near her head anyway.
"You can't, it's impossible." she declared, resting her head on his stomach. "Now hush, I must rest so I might woop your butt in our next match."
Cas raised an eyebrow, though Mellow couldn't see it. "Wow talking about my butt? Are you sure you just want to nap." the eye brow waggled.
"Quiet you." she growled. They lied that way in silence for a few minutes.

Until Casanova began whispering....
"I like big butts and I cannot lie..."
"I'm going to bite you"

Title: My Kingdom for a Lady Who Won't Attack Me for Talking About Her Butt
Character(s): Mellow & Casanova
Location: Katarina
Timeframe: after battle w/ Mephistopheles
WC: 522
User Image
User ImageJeo entered the appartment, Casanova slung over one shoulder. The young woman set him down on the couch before turning walking towards the kitchen "Go get some rest buddy, you did good today."

The mouse pokemon looked around the room. He noticed Mellow dozing by the window and proceed to exaggeratedly limp towards her. "Help me fair maiden! I have been grievously wounded and am not long for this world, I desire only to see your face one last time..." he flopped across her paws and gently touched her cheek.
The female snorted. "Get off me you dork, you're not hurt."
"Oh but I am! Look, there's a scrape on my wonderful tail. I don't think I'll ever recover!" he clutched his tail close to his chest and placed the back of his paw to his forehead dramatically.
"You are such a drama queen. Why do you even battle so much if you're going to complain about all the bumps and bruises you get?" she huffed, sitting up a bit and squirming her paws out from under his bulk.
The raichu grinned. "Oh, I love battling! I mostly just complain to annoy you."
"a**." Mell intoned flatly.
"Are we going to talk about butts again? Because yours is lookin pretty-" he was cut off by the lightning pokemon raising a threatening paw.
"Don't you dare."
"I was going to say 'fine.'" Cas said mater-of-factly
"Sure you were." she replied, narrowing her eyes.
"You are so cold to me Mell. What has brought on all this hostility?" he said looking mock-hurt.
"Your pain amuses me." she replied snootily.
"Ah then I must do what I must to entertain such a fine booty- I mean lady." Mell began smacking him. "Ow! Oof! Ok ok! no more booty jokes! I get it!" the mouse pokemon pleaded while rolling out of her grasp.
Mell began to shoot little sparks at his feet. "Dance little man, dance!" she cried maniacally.
Cas hopped about trying to avoid the stinging shocks. "Hey now! No electricity in the house!"
"What Jeo doesn't know won't hurt her. But it might hurt you so watch out!" the jolteon was having quite a bit of fun with this.
"You are a terrible pokemon!"
"What's going on in there? You better not break anything!" came the ominous call of Jeo from the other room.
"Oh s**t it's the police."
"Run away!"
The two pokemon skittered away before Jeo could find them, taking refuge in Jypsum's bedroom. The both flopped to the floor, giggling uncontrollably.
"Phfahaha you should have seen the look on your face!" Mellow managed to choked out between her laughter.
"Yeah yeah, laugh it up fuzz-butt." the raichu responded form his position spread-eagle next to her.
the jolteon gave him a sly look and sing-songed, "I though we went over this?" She pounced! "No butt jokes!"
"Augh no! Let me up!" Cas yelled, flailing his exposed limbs. "I didn't mean it! Please!"
"You were warned! And now you will pay!"

They proceed to have an extensive tickle fight, which Cas only won because he has much more dexterous paws
the cheating b*****d.

was going to be my contest entry in the March 2013 pokemon contest
wc: 584

- Pin Missle (pins on the ground in a circular pattern)
- Thunder (lightning streaks down, splits, hits pins surrounding like a cage)
- Double Team (create doubles that dance in pattern around stars, # of doubles corrisponds to points of stars)
- Volt Switch (change lightening cage into star formations between pins [9-3(triangle)])
- Thunder (big bolt comes down, shattering pins and making the pieces sparkle)

___________

Jypsum was a wreck.
As she sat backstage listening to the other contestants preform all she could do was vibrate with nervoisness and keep herself from emmiting the horrified keen that was eccoing through her mind at the moment. (Her mind also eccoed with thoughts like "How could this happen to her?" and "How did she miss the part where being a Coordinatior ment she had to look good in front of people? She's terrible at that!" as well as "Why did she think this was a good idea?!?!?")

When her number was finnaly called she nearly tripped on her nice green dress when she leapt up and nearly had a heart attack. Ripping her dress right before going out would be the worst! She stood for a moment and took some calming breaths. She could do this. Mellow could do this. They'd practiced and practiced and the Jolteon knew her routine. And hey, at least she didn't have to talk right?

The youngest Stone sister walked out to her designated spot on the stage and smiled at the crowd. You could barely see how shakey she was as she threw her Safari Ball high into the air and released her pokemon.

Mellow coalessed in the air and did a small flip before landing lightly in the center of the platforms. She shook her mottled green furr a bit, sending little sparks across it, and then posed confidently(she was definately not as nervoius as Jypsum). After a short momment she took a steadier stance and then really shook. At first it seemed like she was shedding excessively, but it soon became apparent that she was simply preforming a Pin Needle attack. The large needles embedded themselves all over the stage.(even in the metal and glass because this is pokemon what did you expect?) Satisfied with their placement, the electric type sat down in the center of the platform.

For a moment nothing seemed to happen, but then it seemed like her edges beagn to flicker. Suddenly, she let out a sharp "Jolt!" and leapt towards the outside of the center platform. But she wasn't alone, eight copies of herself had also leapt to places at the edges of the platform. The Double team copies were very good and only a practiced eye would be able to tell the difference between them and the original. They all pivoted around to face the center of the stage and stood at the ready.

Then, Mellow and her copies closed their eyes and concentrated. The sky darkened a bit and when a dark cloud passed over it released a large bolt of lightening towards the center of the stage. Before it hit they opened their now glowing eyes and it split, streaking to hit all the pins that had been embedded in the stage. The lightening arced around them like a cage, leaping and skittering to the different pins.

With another bark, Mellow flashed with electricity and the cage changed from a 3-dimentional cage into a 2-dimentional nine-pointed star flashing along lines of Pin Needle pins. She was using Volt Switch to change the lightening's direction! The lines of electricity criss crossed over the stage but left the center mostly clear. Each jolteon stood at a corner of the inner polygon of the star. The jolteons crouched low and slunk clockwise. When they reaced the point their predacesor occupied they leapt and, with another flash and bark, the enneagram changed into a heptagram and

AND THEN I COULDN'T WRITE ANYMORE OK GOODBYE

CONTEST REDUX - Jan 2014
wc: 894

Jypsum was a wreck.
As she sat backstage listening to the other contestants preform all she could do was vibrate with nervousness and keep herself from emitting the horrified keen that was echoing through her mind at the moment. (Her mind also echoed with thoughts like "How could this happen to me?" and "How did I miss the part where being a Coordinator meant I had to look good in front of people? I'm terrible at that!" as well as "Why did I think this was a good idea?!?!?")

When her number was finally called she nearly tripped on her nice green dress when she leapt up and nearly had a heart attack. You could barely see how shaky she was as she threw her Safari Ball high into the air and released her pokemon.

Mellow coalesced in the air and did a small flip before landing lightly in the center of the stage. She shook her mottled green fur a bit, sending little sparks across it, and then posed confidently (she was definitely not as nervous as Jypsum). After a short moment she took a steadier stance and then really shook. At first it seemed like she was just shedding excessively, but it soon became apparent that she was preforming a Pin Needle attack. The large needles embedded themselves all over the stage like gleaming crystals as they reflected the light. Satisfied with their placement, Mellow calmly sat down in the relatively clear space in the center.

For a long moment nothing seemed to happen. Then it seemed like the small jolteon's edges began to flicker. Suddenly, she let out a sharp "Jolt!" and leapt towards the outside of the cleared space. But she wasn't alone! Eight copies of herself had also leapt to places at the edges of the space! The Double team copies were nearly perfect and only a practiced eye would be able to tell the difference between them and the original. As one, they all pivoted around to face the center of the stage and stood at the ready.

Then, Mellow and her copies closed their eyes and concentrated. The air inside the stadium became heavy. You could almost hear the storm clouds attempting to gather in the small space. With a sudden crash, a bolt of lightening streaked down from the roof towards the center of the stage. Before it hit, the circle of jolteons opened their now glowing eyes and the Thunder attack split, streaking to hit all the pins that had been embedded in the stage. The lightening arced around them like a cage, leaping and skittering to the different pins.

With another bark, Mellow flashed with electricity and the electricity changed from a wild, 3-dimentional cage into a 2-dimentional nine-pointed star flashing along lines of her Pin Needles. The lines of electricity crisscrossed over the stage but left the center mostly clear. Each Double Team copy stood at a corner of the inner polygon of the star. The jolteons crouched low and slunk clockwise. When they reached the point their predecessor occupied they leapt upwards and, with another Volt Switch flash and a bark, the enneagram changed into an heptagram and there were two fewer Mellows on the stage. The electricity seemed to hum to the pace Mellow set as she and her copies leapt around the stage. A spinning leap here, a roll and a hop to there, then another flash and now five green furred jolteons stood in the center of a crackling pentagram. Mellow's pace quickened as they began to almost waltz around the polygon, taking quick steps and then rearing up and pivoting on one paw before continuing, sometimes forwards and sometimes backwards. With one more spin, they flashed again and three Mellows were left inside the large triangle of electricity. The jolteons crouched in the corners of the shape as their eyes began to glow once again. Audience members all around the stadium could feel their hair starting to stand on end as the air filled with power. Another huge lightening bolt tore through the air as the Mellows all leapt to the center of the stage. The bolt struck down with overwhelming force, shattering the pins and making a sparkling display of the glittering shards. As the light faded, Mellow was left sitting primly on the stage, surrounded by the remains of her Pin Needles with her fur sparking slightly.

As the crowd erupted in applause Jypsum came up and happily picked up her pokemon. She smiled brightly at her, all traces of her nervousness gone. "That was amazing, little bit!" She exclaimed as she hugged Mellow. "Spot on! Top notch! Exquisite!"
"Joltjolt! Jooolteon!" the electric type yipped as she wiggled joyfully in her trainer's arms. She was glad Jypsum had pushed for doing so much agility training, it was definitely pivotal in this performance!
Finally remembering the crowd, Jypsum turned and curtseyed deeply before giddily making her way backstage once more.

Lorelei was bored. When Lorelei got bored she got short tempered. When Lorelei got short tempered everyone in the world suffered.

She was never so cooped up in her old home. She'd been allowed to go wherever she wanted. She'd had free rein of the house and the yard. She hadn't had to share such cramped digs with so many other pokemon either, especially any so basic as these schlubs. The big rat kept coming on to her and all the others were either twitchy and hyperactive or too lazy to give a s**t. Ugh. She could not take this much longer. She needed to get out.

The blonde eevee started scoping things out. Were there any windows she could fit through around the house? When did they commonly get distracted? How far could she stray from them before they got antsy and called her back? How long did they usually leave doors open? She was very thorough.

Unfortunately, she couldn't find any significant chinks in their armor. Most of the windows had screens on them and she was too big for any of the ones that didn't. They kept a close eye on their pokemon when they were out so she could never wander very far without being too obvious.
