I'm currently training at Maw of the Abyss. Making around 3000-5000 CP with very easy enemies isn't too shabby, but is there a better place to train with just as easy enemies but with a little more CP earned?

'kay..

#1 - Yaschas Massif - Tsumitran Basin
Ye can farm Behemoth Kings and Triffids. Easiest if you can get prempts, which is hard.

Reward? 5,000 or more CP per fight

#2 - The Archylte Steppe - Northern Highplain
Fight the Behemoth King and Megistotherian near the entrance to Mah'habara. Prempt and kill the Behemoth first.

Lots of CP.

#3 - Eden - Leviathan Plaza
Adamantoise (Best WAYYYYY later in the game when yer beef'd)

Rewards? 40,000 CP, Platinum Ingot is normal drop and Trapezohedron as rare drop.

#4 - Mah'habara - Maw of the Abyss
Everywhere is effortless fighting.

You can obtain about 20,000 CP every 5 minutes or so, depending on how fast you fight.

#5 - Mah'habara - An Asylum from Light
Nice CP and valuable components come from all the fights here.
The six Cryohedrons give up around 7,000 CP and their rare drop are Bomb Cores

#6 - Taejin's Tower - Fith Tier
8,000 CP per battle against the Puslework Centurions which can be killed easily with preemptive strikes.

*All thanks to the 50 dollar game manual I bought with the game. ^^

Personally, I just fought around in a small area that had a lot of the Leyaks. They were simple and easy to kill as long as you preemted them, which was very easy to do. Quick CP too. Then, after I was able to fight on my own, I started lots of Missions. Of course, I always use Fang, Lightning, and Hope though. They were in a almost closed off section in the Western Benchland area of the Archylte Steppe. Kill the Rangdas first. They are the blue ones. Dun worry about the Leyaks, all they do is conjure the Rangdas. Kill the Rangdas first, they summon bigger monsters.

It'd seem Maw of the Abyss is the best way to go. Thanks for the info ^_^

The blue bomb things are the best! They just blow them selves up within the first two seconds and bam! Easy 3100 CP rofl

I know, right? Those are those Cryohedrons that give you lots of CP in the "An Asylum from Light" portion of Mah'habara. ^^;
