Prompt 1:
Simple, Friendly, Direct: The dawn of a new day approaches. You are just getting out of bed...or are you? Take us through your day, just this one, particular day from morning to night. Are you an early riser? Do you sleep in? Go to work? School? What do you eat, if anything? Does something interesting happen? The content is up to you, but we want to see what happens on any given day, from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed.

A Day in the Life of Chase the Great
By Chase Johnson(mommy helped with some of the words)

Every morning I get out of bed
And off to work I go
A knight's work is never done
So I'm off with an ol heave-ho

I travel through many dark caves
Looking for the occasional ghost
But that all gets put on hold
To eat some eggs and toast

My kingdom needs ruling, kitties need saving
My jobs are never done.
And except for the occasional snack break,
I'm always on the run.

Peanut butter for lunch, and a glass of milk too
Then I need to check my bathtub trap
To see if I caught any fish for the day
Then off I go to nap

After some rest I'm off again
This time to save the world
No evil villain can stop Super Chase
With his bright red cape unfurled

Dinner is chicken, I need to eat fast
There's a princess trapped in yon tower
After she's saved and I get a kiss
Time to get my shower.

I'm cleaned off by warm rain
And soap I make from trees
I dry myself off with tiger fur
And put on my PJ's made of leaves.

Once the last fire has been put out
And everyone is safe from harm
I scuttle off into Mommy's lap
And fall asleep in her arms

And that is how I spend my days
From morning until end
And just think, tomorrow
I do it all again!

Prompt 2:Oh, wow! Your day certainly seemed exciting! That's great! But...uhh...you seem to be forgetting something. I'm pretty sure this happened at some point in your day. How could you forget it? Remember, that Nutbar creature that just came up to you out of nowhere and demanded that you help it out? That stupid little creature who told you it didn't know where it needed to go, what it needed to get, but it sure as heck needed you to go there and get it for them? Remember, they opened that weird door out of thin air, pointed to a wild goose that appeared out of nowhere that ended up running through the door? The crazy Nutbar pushed you into the doorway too! The doorway closed once you were both on the other side! You came across a whole new strange world! How could you forget that?!

Oooh, I see, your memory of that incident is coming back! At what point in the day did it happen, again? When the nutbar opened that door to another world, what kind of world did the Nutbar make you run through, to chase after that wild goose? It's okay, memories are strange things. Just take it slow, and tell me when it happened, what you thought of it happening while it was happening, and what kind of world you ended up in. What it an alternate universe? Some crazy planet? Based on a video game (Pokemon? Persona 3 or 4? Dokapon Kingdom? .hack? World of Warcraft? Tetris?!)? Other Game (Candy Land, Clue, 13 Dead End Drive, Solitaire, Mahjong)? Book? What do you think of the world, and this crazy smoke creature that keeps licking it's own eyeball to try and think?

Response:
I don't know what that disembodied voice from nowhere says, I TOLD you everything that I did today already!

Oh, you wanna know about that crazy floaty thing and the door? Well why didn't you say so?

It happened right after dinner, as I said before. I wanted to eat fast because I knew something weird was going on in the living room. I kept hearing a really weird and fast voice coming from there. Mom and Imani thought I was kidding, but they thought I was kidding about the crazy girl who set things on fire too, and I KNOW she's real. That was too creepy to have been a dream. It did happen I swear!

...I'm getting off topic. Okay, so weird voices, right? I ate dinner fast and bolted out to the living room to see the weird...floaty...thinger. I don't know what it was really. I tried asking and the response I got was as follows.

"WhydoyouasksuchhardquestionsallIwantistofindmygoosehaveyouseenit?"

Suddenly the door appeared and there was the goose. The...thing was so happy to see it that it rushed through the door to get it, and it accidentally took me with it! I was sorta scared, but at least it wasn't setting me on fire, right?

Anyway, when I opened my eyes the thing and the goose and the door were gone, and I was left in a strange world with odd background music that was littered with large green pipes and for some odd reason, I was in overalls. I found a note near where I landed. It said:

'Mario, I have captured the Princess! Come get her if you dare!

Hugs and Kisses, Bowser <3'

It was so...shocking! I knew those names, and now I knew where I was, and what I had to do! I had to save the princess! I've seen Mommy play these games before, and knew not to bother with the smaller castles with Bowser's kids in them. No trying to push my way through countless levels either, I just walked around them. Why didn't Mario ever think of this before? I stocked up on mushrooms and fire flowers though, couldn't be too prepared after all.

I made it to the castle to find another note on the door.

'Mario, I went out to get some milk. Please wait till I return and then we shall fight to the death!

Also, I don't know what to bring to the potluck next week. What are you bringing?

Your lovely giant koopa, Bowser <3'

...I really was supposed to wait for my death? I really wasn't in the mood, and Bowser didn't lock the door, so I went inside. I went to the tower of the castle where Princesses are usually kept, and whaddyaknow? There was Princess Peach! The door to her room wasn't locked either! When I asked why she never just walked out she looked at me and then said she never thought of trying before. Still, I rushed her out of the castle as quickly as I could, but not writing 'You should bring fried chicken' on the note on the castle door. I felt like I should help out Bowser at least a little...

Anyway, I got the princess back to her castle, and she gave me a kiss, and then I was back in my living room! Pretty neat right?

Prompt 3: Alright! So, uh, you're in this world, and this really loud, stupid creature is demanding that you help it. Wonderful...

After a while of exploring this world, your Nutbar points at the Wild Goose that had run into the world just before you did (hah, did you notice it?! I bet you didn't!), and demands that you chase and capture it. It's beak has something in it - it looks like a key! Geese aren't that easy to capture however, and this one proves to be no easier than the next. How long does it take to chase the Wild Goose? How did you end up catching it? Did it give up it's key easily, or did it make you fight it?

For clarity: This prompt ends when you retrieve the key from the Wild Goose.

Response:
I don't want to talk about the dumb thing...do I?

Okay fine. I DIDN'T get back into my living room right away. No. That Dumbthing followed me the whole time, and so did the stupid goose, and that was just really weird. As soon as I left the castle, the goose got scared by a passing goomba and darted off.

That's when the thing just started FREAKING out. It was nuts! It started screeching at me, saying that the goose had the key to get out of this place!

I...may have yelled at it a bit, and I was out of line, but I really wanted to go home and that thing was not helping. It yelled back at me in it's crazy quick sounding voice. I grumped and smashed a goomba with my feet. If I was going to chase the dumb goose (I now get the joke...hush you voice from nowhere you) around, I might as well have some fun.

To cut a long story short, guess who ended up with the goose? Bowser. Apparently the goose ran into him in the parking lot of the grocery store and Bowser thought it was some odd chicken and he was going to fry to to bring to a potluck next week.

Last time I help the villain...ever.

He kept throwing hammers and fireballs at me, but because he's such a slow fat turtle thing I just walked around him and hit that hammer thing that destroys the bridge and Bowser took a nice lava bath.

Literally. He got out a steel wool loofa and everything. It was weird.

There were some toads in the next room saying that the princess wasn't there. I told them that I knew and that she SHOULD be back in her castle, but I don't know how long it takes Bowser to bathe. They stared at me and walked off, and I could see the goose in a bag, trying to get out of it. I scooped it up as quickly as possible and yanked the key away. It apparently wanted out of the bag more then it wanted the key, so it wasn't all that hard.

So now I had a goose in a bag and a key. Now what? I'm not getting ahead of myself this time. That voice keeps making me go back and talk about other things...

Prompt 4: Alright! You have the key! That's totally awesome! Your Nutbar is now prattling on about something, either about a box or a popsicle, it's really hard to tell at this point, but in the end, you understand that the key opens a box, and that the Nutbar really, really wants a popsicle. Hey, at least you were mostly right the first time! Grudingly, the goose brings you to a room of boxes, and the Nutbar ever so proudly guards the doorway, preventing you from leaving until you have 'it'!

How many boxes do you try to open until you get one that does? What is inside? Is there something in it? Is is empty? Was this what the Nutbar was looking for? If it is, does it let you leave to go back home, or does the easily distracted creature need convincing? If it isn't what it was looking for, where do you end up finding it? Was there ever a 'thing' that it wanted to look for, or did this whole quest end up as a giant derailing in the Nutbar's quest to get a popsicle?

You eventually end up back home, where the previously paused time resumes once more.

What happens after you received the key from the previous prompt is entirely up to you. The above paragraph is just a bunch of suggestions, but feel free to toss your own in there to finish this...stupid little adventure! You are also now free to choose what the Nutbar was making you look for. If it even was looking for something. You never know with those things, they're remarkably stupid.

THE END.

Blah Words:

Ha! I knew it! See? I may be a toddler persay, but dumb I am not. I learn. Just like I learned that cyan haired girls are pyromanicacs.

Anyway, I got the key and I finally let the goose out. The dumbthing was now sobbing over a lost popsicle and was demanding that I find it for it. It said the goose stole the key to have the popsicle all to itself. I looked at the goose. It shrugged and nodded at me and beckoned me to follow it. How can a goose do that? I didn't think to ask. I thought it was pretty nifty though, unlike the floating stupid that followed me everywhere.

The goose took me to a room where there were hundreds of boxes that all looked the same. Dumbthing said that it's beloved popsicle was in one of them. I sighed and got to work.

The key worked on every box (though then again I was using my left hand. Things seem to go better when I do usually). There were watches, gems, money, bikes. Don't ask me how I pulled a bike out of a small box. I stopped asking questions like that a while ago. There was also an ice wand, a bow and arrows, a bomb bag, though when I pulled those out they floated in my hands for a few seconds and music played from no where. A kid in green tights walked in and grabbed those and left. His fairy thing sounded about as annoying as Dumbthing, which, if you hadn't guessed, is my name for that floaty...thing.

I opened all the boxes. I can't even count how many there were. I can only count to 100 on a good day. No popsicle. Dumbthing grabbed the purple trike I had found and hugged it.

"Youfoundityoufoundityou'reawesome!" it schreeched.

I...didn't even want to know why it thought it was a popsicle, and seeing as it devoured the trike a few moments later, I thought that it did not want to hear that it wasn't a popsicle at all...

I asked it if I could go home now. It groaned claiming it had a tummy ache and waved me off. I sorta threw a gem at it before stomping through a door, and all of a sudden I was home.

The end
