Prompt 1:
The dawn of a new day approaches. You are just getting out of bed...or are you? Take us through your day, just this one, particular day from morning to night. Are you an early riser? Do you sleep in? Go to work? School? What do you eat, if anything? Does something interesting happen? The content is up to you, but we want to see what happens on any given day, from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed.

Prompt 2:
Oh, wow! Your day certainly seemed exciting! That's great! But...uhh...you seem to be forgetting something. I'm pretty sure this happened at some point in your day. How could you forget it? Remember, that Nutbar creature that just came up to you out of nowhere and demanded that you help it out? That stupid little creature who told you it didn't know where it needed to go, what it needed to get, but it sure as heck needed you to go there and get it for them? Remember, they opened that weird door out of thin air, pointed to a wild goose that appeared out of nowhere that ended up running through the door? The crazy Nutbar pushed you into the doorway too! The doorway closed once you were both on the other side! You came across a whole new strange world! How could you forget that?!

Oooh, I see, your memory of that incident is coming back! At what point in the day did it happen, again? When the nutbar opened that door to another world, what kind of world did the Nutbar make you run through, to chase after that wild goose? It's okay, memories are strange things. Just take it slow, and tell me when it happened, what you thought of it happening while it was happening, and what kind of world you ended up in. What it an alternate universe? Some crazy planet? Based on a video game (Pokemon? Persona 3 or 4? Dokapon Kingdom? .hack? World of Warcraft? Tetris?!)? Other Game (Candy Land, Clue, 13 Dead End Drive, Solitaire, Mahjong)? Book? What do you think of the world, and this crazy smoke creature that keeps licking it's own eyeball to try and think?

Ahh… yes… Now Nicole remembers now. Very clearly, actually. So clearly….. Oh… wait… NO! It’s fading! Oh, nevermind, it’s back. So anyway…

Nicole was walking with her mom and her brother Austin from the park. She heard a soft ticking noise causing her to look around wildly a couple of times. A voice rang out in tune with the ticking noise, it sounded like a call for help. After tugging her mom’s hand a few times, Nicole realized that she would have to investigate this cry for help on her own. She wandered away from her family, following the mysterious noises. After backtracking to the park, Nicole found some sort of animal rolled up, quivering and calling for help. She poked at it with a concerned look on her face.

“H-hello?”

The animal immediately sprang to life, almost pushing Nicole over. Why, it wasn’t an animal at all, it was some sort of ghost creature! She didn’t understand how such a thing could exist, but none the less she remained in her spot.

“Please,” the creature pleaded, “You’vegottohelpme!Myfriendsareingravedanger!”

Nicole was about to question what was going on and why the thing was talking so fast when the creature grabbed onto her arm and threw her body into a door she didn’t remember existing until now. Tumbling through the darkness of the mysterious door, she grabbed frantically at the air. She finally regained herself by catching onto a stray object. The creature was beside her again, pointing into the darkness.

“There,that’sthegoose,getit!”

In the few seconds that she had before the floating creature dragged her through the endless darkness, Nicole was able to adjust her eyes to the dark. They seemed to be in a corridor and down at the end of the corridor was a…. swan!?

“S-sir, that’s not a go-“

Nicole was unable to finish her sentence for the floor had collapsed under her feet and she was sent tumbling down again. She brushed what seemed to be rust out of her hair before standing up and looking to the hole. The creature peeked its head from the sides of the hole.

“Keepchasingafterthegoose,I’llcatchupwithyoulater!”

And with that, he was gone. Nicole found this scenario all too familiar, but wasn’t sure where she experienced it. She decided that her best bet was to go forward and look for another opening where she could climb out of the hole.

After walking for quiet awhile, Nicole came across a pair of metal crates that had fallen from the floor above her. She hastily climbed up the boxes and to the surface, revealing to her the end of the corridor. A large bridge that could hold more than ten trucks easily connected one part of the corridor to the other side. A few small space ships were connected to docks that hung on the sides of the bridge. The room was huge and it quickly became apparent that besides the bridge there was nothing to stop you from falling to you death in the dark abyss to the floor. Nicole had only walked on the bridge for a few seconds before she noticed movement inside one of the ships. Guessing that it could be the swan, Nicole ventured into the rusty ship. Each step she took caused the ship to rock slightly, making Nicole hold onto the walls of it. She drew closer to the cockpit, the end of the swan sticking out from behind the wall. Quickly leaping, she tackled down the fowl.

“Got you,” she squealed.

After the confusion of movement settled down, Nicole noticed that what she was holding was not a swan. It was some sort of mutated swan, sharp teeth and all. The disfigured animal let out a shriek and jerked it’s head at Nicole, jaw open and ready to bite….

Prompt 3:
Alright! So, uh, you're in this world, and this really loud, stupid creature is demanding that you help it. Wonderful...

After a while of exploring this world, your Nutbar points at the Wild Goose that had run into the world just before you did (hah, did you notice it?! I bet you didn't!), and demands that you chase and capture it. It's beak has something in it - it looks like a key! Geese aren't that easy to capture however, and this one proves to be no easier than the next. How long does it take to chase the Wild Goose? How did you end up catching it? Did it give up it's key easily, or did it make you fight it?

Nicole moved her head out of the way just in time. The mutated bird’s miss caused it to tumble out of the cockpit, stunning it for a moment. Just as she moved towards the exit of the ship, a voice ringed from a radio she didn’t know she had.

“Kay,so,IfinnallywhyIwaschasingthegoose.There’sakeyithasthatIneedtoopensomestuff.Mindgettingit?Kay,thanks!

The radio buzz cut off and Nicole was left alone with the mutant goose again. It reared up to attack her and Nicole once again moved to the side. It wasted no time in changing direction and curved it’s neck around to bite at her. Nicole moved back, letting the fowl stumble again.

“This is unfair! I don’t have anything to fight with!”

“Oh, don’t worry,” replied the goose. “It’s a timed battle.”

Nicole shrugged. “Not about to question a talking swan.”

And with that, the goose fell on its belly, sticking its tongue out and revealing a key-card. Nicole was hesitant about picking up the saliva drenched piece of plastic, but did it none the less. She walked out of the ship, and to her surprise the goose was following her.

“Uh…. Why are you….?”

“No hard feelings, kay? DON’T QUESTION MY DECISIONS!”

Nicole shrugged once again, continuing down the bridge with the goose behind her.

Prompt 4:
Alright! You have the key! That's totally awesome! Your Nutbar is now prattling on about something, either about a box or a popsicle, it's really hard to tell at this point, but in the end, you understand that the key opens a box, and that the Nutbar really, really wants a popsicle. Hey, at least you were mostly right the first time! Grudingly, the goose brings you to a room of boxes, and the Nutbar ever so proudly guards the doorway, preventing you from leaving until you have 'it'!

How many boxes do you try to open until you get one that does? What is inside? Is there something in it? Is is empty? Was this what the Nutbar was looking for? If it is, does it let you leave to go back home, or does the easily distracted creature need convincing? If it isn't what it was looking for, where do you end up finding it? Was there ever a 'thing' that it wanted to look for, or did this whole quest end up as a giant derailing in the Nutbar's quest to get a popsicle?

You eventually end up back home, where the previously paused time resumes once more.

Nicole and the goose walked through the rusty corridors of what seemed to be a space ship. The ghost creature kept yelling directions to where it wanted them to go through the radio. The key supposedly opened the door to some room where something important is being housed. Nicole tried asking multiple times why the monster couldn’t just do it on its own, but, as expected, the ghost kept telling her that it was trapped or wasn’t equipped to leave the room he was in. Its story changed which each time she asked.

“Why do I have to open the door for you, aren’t you a ghost or something?”

“SeetheresabunchofmonstersoutthereandImscaredandstuffandyouknowthisroomhasabunchofbaricadessoIfeelprettyconfidentjuststayinginhereandstuff.”

Eventually they reached the door to the room that the ghost had specified. Nicole took out her now dry keycard and ran it through the door’s scanner. The room opened up and they stepped inside, looking around. There were 3 escape pod containment areas, but only one had a pod inside. The radio crackled to life again and the ghost’s voice rang out again.

“KaynowIwantyoutoleave.”

“What?”

“IdontlikethatgooseheresoIwantyoutoleavewiththatgoosecauseIdontlikeithereandstuffandwhatnot.”

The mutated goose shrugged. Nicole decided that it would be best not to question the ghost’s decision and climbed into the pod with the fowl. They closed the hatch, strapped in, and pressed the big, obvious button. The pod detached from the ship and they both went flying back to Earth.
