As you are wandering through the village doing your day to day activities, a single Anbu has finally found you and hands you a scroll.

Dear Chuunin hopeful,

You have been chosen to participate in the chuunin exams located on Nagi Island. Attached to this scroll is your boarding ticket on the S.S Ninja to take you to the island in which the Chuunin Exams are being held. You have till Sunday June 13th to get your affairs in order and report to your designated area in Nagi Island. Good Luck and make your village proud!

That's right shinobis! The chuunin exams are now open. In order to qualify for the exams you have to have completed 18 points worth of missions as well as turned in your preliminary quiz. You do not need to be in a squad, it is completely independent. You have till this Sunday to report so that we can commence the First Stage of the Exams. Which means you have till Sunday to complete your missions and the quiz. There will be time for training in between the stages so focus on the mission points ^^

Question:

Considering that Genin are not allowed to leave their villages unattended, do we have to find an escort to Nagi Island, or is this a special occasion when they are allowed to leave their villages?

...also, if we wanted to, could we bring spectators with us?... or is the boat ticket for single occupants only?

@Cobra: Just go to your Kage, explain the situation, and ask for special permission to leave the village. And make sure that you tell them you'll be coming back, or they'll mark you as a missing nin and the ANBU will hunt you down and feast upon your flesh.
That's what I did and it worked fine.

Well, my village doesn't really have anyone qualified(and active) to lead such an expedition, so I just popped in on the kage, said I was leaving, and headed out. I'd have waited for an escort if anyone was around to do it, but the only person active would be the kazekage, and she's not even in town. And she hates me.
