Day One

The Prompt:
Simple, Friendly, Direct: The dawn of a new day approaches. You are just getting out of bed...or are you? Take us through your day, just this one, particular day from morning to night. Are you an early riser? Do you sleep in? Go to work? School? What do you eat, if anything? Does something interesting happen? The content is up to you, but we want to see what happens on any given day, from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed.

Day Two

The Prompt: Oh, wow! Your day certainly seemed exciting! That's great! But...uhh...you seem to be forgetting something. I'm pretty sure this happened at some point in your day. How could you forget it? Remember, that Nutbar creature that just came up to you out of nowhere and demanded that you help it out? That stupid little creature who told you it didn't know where it needed to go, what it needed to get, but it sure as heck needed you to go there and get it for them? Remember, they opened that weird door out of thin air, pointed to a wild goose that appeared out of nowhere that ended up running through the door? The crazy Nutbar pushed you into the doorway too! The doorway closed once you were both on the other side! You came across a whole new strange world! How could you forget that?!

Oooh, I see, your memory of that incident is coming back! At what point in the day did it happen, again? When the nutbar opened that door to another world, what kind of world did the Nutbar make you run through, to chase after that wild goose? It's okay, memories are strange things. Just take it slow, and tell me when it happened, what you thought of it happening while it was happening, and what kind of world you ended up in. What it an alternate universe? Some crazy planet? Based on a video game (Pokemon? Persona 3 or 4? Dokapon Kingdom? .hack? World of Warcraft? Tetris?!)? Other Game (Candy Land, Clue, 13 Dead End Drive, Solitaire, Mahjong)? Book? What do you think of the world, and this crazy smoke creature that keeps licking it's own eyeball to try and think?

**Remember, this happens like the Blind Date RPs do - You're suddenly somewhere else, and time back home just stops. As for the world - the only limit is your imagination! It can be whatever you want it to be.

Day Three

The Prompt:
Alright! So, uh, you're in this world, and this really loud, stupid creature is demanding that you help it. Wonderful...

After a while of exploring this world, your Nutbar points at the Wild Goose that had run into the world just before you did (hah, did you notice it?! I bet you didn't!), and demands that you chase and capture it. It's beak has something in it - it looks like a key! Geese aren't that easy to capture however, and this one proves to be no easier than the next. How long does it take to chase the Wild Goose? How did you end up catching it? Did it give up it's key easily, or did it make you fight it?

Status: Finished!

Where the crap is it?!: HERE

Day Four

The Prompt:
Alright! You have the key! That's totally awesome! Your Nutbar is now prattling on about something, either about a box or a popsicle, it's really hard to tell at this point, but in the end, you understand that the key opens a box, and that the Nutbar really, really wants a popsicle. Hey, at least you were mostly right the first time! Grudingly, the goose brings you to a room of boxes, and the Nutbar ever so proudly guards the doorway, preventing you from leaving until you have 'it'!

How many boxes do you try to open until you get one that does? What is inside? Is there something in it? Is is empty? Was this what the Nutbar was looking for? If it is, does it let you leave to go back home, or does the easily distracted creature need convincing? If it isn't what it was looking for, where do you end up finding it? Was there ever a 'thing' that it wanted to look for, or did this whole quest end up as a giant derailing in the Nutbar's quest to get a popsicle?

You eventually end up back home, where the previously paused time resumes once more.

What happens after you received the key from the previous prompt is entirely up to you. The above paragraph is just a bunch of suggestions, but feel free to toss your own in there to finish this...stupid little adventure!

Prompt #1

Eh? What was that noise? Make it go awaaaaaay. Why wasn't Val making the noise go away? Other whined and buried her face against the pillow she was hugging since...her belly had grown too awkwardly big to cuddle with Val face to face. He had to hold her from behind now, which was alright but she couldn't wait to be able to hold him again. The noise persisted and she gave another distressed whine of exhaustion, hearing a chuckle from behind her and feeling the bed shift as Val leaned over to reach across her for the alarm clock on the nightstand, turning off the alarm and then settling back down. Aw, man. It was the alarm clock? Nooooo! That meant she had to get up! Good mornings were exchanged and a few sweet kisses shared before Other sighed and insisted she didn't want to get up, even trying to distract Val by excitedly putting his hands on her belly so he could feel Bun kicking. But it only helped him to convince her that she should get up, move around, and eat something. Not fair. She wanted to lie in bed all day! But she couldn't. Sigh.

The first thing Other did was clumsily get out of bed. Val had helped her as best as she could but really there was no helping a tiny lady trying to push herself up with a large stomach that made it hard for her to bend properly, and gravity was definitely not on their side. With some trouble she did manage to get up on her feet again, sighing about possibly needing a taller bed...but then it would be harder to get onto it. For both of them. They showered together, washing each other's hair and whatever the other couldn't reach -- it was mostly Other who needed the help considering she couldn't bend over -- and then after they had brushed their teeth and gotten dressed they slowly made their way downstairs to the kitchen. It seemed Miranda was still asleep, that was fine though! Other would let her sleep until she was finished preparing breakfast for them all. Kept her from waiting too long and getting hungry. Hmm...what would they have for breakfast? Oooh! Waffles sounded delicious! She could put strawberry jam and chocolate sauce on them and--

...Heh...chocolate sauce.

A-anyway! Other blushed as her thoughts drifted without her control, hiding her face as she searched through the fridge for the ingredients she needed. For now Other ignored the chocolate sauce, even pushing a jug of milk in front of it; out of sight out of mind, so to speak. She was still blushing fiercely when she turned back around, finding Val staring at her. "Wh-what? I'm...it...what would you like on your waffles?" Other asked with a bit of a squeak, her eyes wide and her cheeks hot. The answer she got wasn't the one she was hoping for, instead he teased her and kissed her cheek, looping around to hug her from behind and hobble along behind her as she wandered around the kitchen, making a couple detours just to prolong the moment. She giggled and squeaked, leaning back against Val until he became too much of a bother and 'scolding' him, making him sit at the table and wait like a good boy as a sort of punishment. Miranda wandered down shortly after, announcing her presence with a little yawn and an adorable greeting that made Other pause what she was doing so she could hurry over and give her an albeit awkward hug. A teeny girl and a lady with a big pregnant belly...yeah...not easy. The waffles were finished and served, and Other even grabbed all the things they wanted to put on them...chocolate sauce included. Val grinned at her and kissed her cheek when he noticed how hesitant she was to get that particular item, and she blushed all over again, focusing on just eating. Hmmm she should probably do this a little faster, huh? She had a place to be after all. Maybe. Right? Sort of. She'd kind of promised a coworker of hers that she would go to the mall with her...but...but today she just didn't feel like it anymore; all that walking, carrying whatever she bought, going out, having to deal with total strangers who wanted to congratulate her and ask her all kinds of questions such as "When are you due?!" "Is it a boy or girl?!" "Have you thought of names?" "Was it planned? An accident?" Why would she even answer that one? "What's the theme for your nursery? You're doing a natural birth, right?" While Other did enjoy the attention her baby was getting...it...was getting a tad bothersome. The questions were just so personal. It was alright if a friend or family asked, but why did a totally random stranger need to know anything about her baby? She was very proud of Bun, very proud, but Other sometimes got flustered by questions from the people she loved! But her coworker arrived just after breakfast and there was no turning back now. Sigh. Other said goodbye to Val and Miranda, hoping to be back by dinner at the latest. She climbed into the car with her coworker, chatting idly with her with a warm smile on her face...until they missed the turn for the mall.

...What?

Why did they miss the turn? Did she know they missed the turn? She didn't seem worried or concerned or panicky or...or to care. Were they shopping somewhere else? What was happening? Noticing her distress her coworker was quick to assure her that it was okay and they were making a stop somewhere else first. Oh...was that all? Why didn't she tell her? Geeze. Other had been so worried! Finally they made it to a restaurant, one that Other had come to with Val once before. On a date! Wow! The Italian restaurant with the delicious food...and this time she wasn't sick at all, she could actually enjoy a delicious lunch here! But there was more to this than she thought. When they walked in they were led to a private room...huh? Suddenly they were in a room filled with balloons, streamers and baby-themed decorations. On one side of the room was a table covered with a large pile of presents of varying sizes, and a cake on a table beside it. And the room was filled with her coworkers and...her mother was here! A-and even Stacia and Ophelia were here! Was this...it was a baby shower! Other was more than a little surprise; she'd been wishing for a baby shower but she didn't know how those worked, if she had to ask for one or plan for one or if it just happened, which apparently was perfectly alright because all these women...! Had Val known too? Was that why he was so insistent on her getting out of bed? That tricky man! He was incredible. There were so many presents, wonderful things she could keep and use and adore. Since she wanted to be surprised by the baby's sex she didn't let her doctor tell her if it was a boy or girl, and though a couple people had been a bit dismayed by that it wasn't as if there was anything they could do! Bun was Other's baby, not theirs. It'd been the most fun she'd had in ages! She didn't go to parties very often, and she didn't have them thrown for her very often either! So...that was a really good experience for her! And she was so thankful that her mother, Ophelia and Stacia offered to help bring home the presents too. And everyone was letting her take the extra food...because goodness was it delicious, Other wanted to keep eating it. They seemed to understand. It meant she didn't have to do as much for dinner preparations! Which was good because Other was kind of exhausted by the time she got home. The three women went back to their own homes and Other made sure the food was warm and still tasted delicious for her family. Only the best for Val and Miranda! If the food didn't taste any good if she heated it again then she'd eat it herself and make them something entirely new, something Val insisted wasn't necessary since they had all this food already. Something about her not needing to give herself extra work pregnant or not. Huh? What? That didn't make any sense! Other was happy to do whatever she could to provide the best for the ones she loved, what was wrong with that?

After dinner, some quality family time and then saying good night to Miranda Val helped Other sort through and put away all of the gifts from the baby shower, giggling and telling him all about the party and just about everything that happened during it. He was happy for her, laughing with her and praising her every now and then. It took a few hours, and a few hours longer than it probably would have if Other wasn't such a silly perfectionist about everything. But Val was patient, right? He didn't seem bothered by it. Needless to say by the time they got to their room she was exhausted, barely managing to change out of her own clothes and into her pajamas before she carefully climbed onto the bed and under the sheets, sighing happily as she cuddled up against Val. Oh...she had to set the alarm again. Sigh. That sucked. Could she stay in bed tomorrow? Please? Pretty please? ...He'd think about it? Sigh. Fine, if that was the best she was going to get she'd just convince him in the morning. Other held Val's hands as he held her from behind like before, resting them on her belly with a blissful smile on her face as she quickly fell asleep again. It'd been a surprisingly long day for her!

Prompt #2

Other hummed happily as she waited for Val to finish in the bathroom, sitting on the edge of their bed and brushing her hair. She wasn't about to stay in the bathroom with him when he needed to do...er...man things. Like pee. And shave. She didn't need nor want to be there for that. Suddenly she heard a high-pitched squeal from somewhere in the room, giving a small cry of surprise and dropping her hairbrush when she spotted the strange smoked creature with one huge eye and a large tongue hanging out of its mouth. Wh-what was that?! What was it doing in her room?! "HIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEHIHIHI!" It started, grinning widely around its tongue. Other's first instinct was to flee, scooting awkwardly across the bed with a whimper of fear. The creature seemed perplexed. "Ineedoyouyesyouneedtohelpmewithsomethingokayalrightcomecomecomecomecome!"

"Wh-what?" She didn't understand what it was saying! D-did it say help? But...but...! Suddenly the creature opened a doorway to God knew what and then she heard...a goose? What? Other blinked and just stared at the goose as it ran through the doorway. Where did the goose come from? First this thing now a goose? How did these things keep getting into her house much less her bedroom?! The honking goose fled in through the doorway and suddenly she saw the creature coming at her. Since she apparently couldn't flee, she'd just do the next thing that came to mind: "Vaaaaaal!" Other cried giving another surprised cry as she suddenly felt herself moving forward. The smoke creature had shoved her across the bed and into the doorway, sending her careening forward through it. Oh God! Oh God! Oh God! Her stomach! No! She couldn't fall! She could hurt herself, or worse she could hurt Bun! Other somehow found herself on her feet, stumbling forward from the momentum of her 'fall' and grabbing a nearby low-hanging branch on a tree. She managed to keep herself from falling, sighing with relief and looking around. Where was she?

...This...definitely wasn't her bedroom. Instead she found herself in a forest, a bright happy forest where everything was green and perfect and pristine. She could hear a calm river somewhere off in the distance, the leaves in the trees rustling in the gentle breeze, the chirping of birds and...singing? Other blinked, and was about to wander further to investigate when that thing suddenly came up behind her. "YAYWE'REHEREWE'REHERE!" It cheered, and she gasped and clung desperately to the tree. A hand was pressed to her chest and her head whipped around to stare wide eyed at the strange creature, biting down on her lip. Here? Where was here?! Where was Val? Oh no! He was going to be so worried! She had to get back and fast! She had plans today; she still had to make breakfast! They needed her! Wh-who would...who would take care of the house if she wasn't around to cook and clean and do various other chores? She couldn't make Val or Miranda do some of those things!

"Where are we?" She asked in a panic. How could she get home? She had to get home. She needed to be at home with Val and Miranda! Bun kicked and she winced, looking around again. The creature merely shrugged.

"IdunnoweareherethatisallthatmattersandyouneedtofindsomethingformeIdon'tknowwhatbutit'simportantyougottafinditokay?Okaygood!" And then it put its hands on her shoulder and moved her away from the tree, guiding her further through the forest against her will. Ugh! No! She wanted to go home! Other blinked, staring ahead of her at a nicely sized little cottage. It had a straw roof, and a little watermill on the side of it that was turning continuously as the river flowed through it. It looked like something out of Snow White! But that was just silly. Snow White was a fairy tale. There was no way she could be in a storybook.

Was there...? Other looked warily at the creature to find it grinning again, its tongue wrapped around its head and slapping against its large blinking eye like a sort of turban. Eugh. She cringed at the sight and turned away again, frowning and just staring at the cottage. Well...if she needed to be here perhaps she needed to be inside? Other walked up to the little cottage, knocking on the door. When she received no answer she opened it herself and stepped inside. How peculiar. It was empty! But very clean.

Ugh. She just wanted to go hoooooome!

Prompt #3

Okay so they were in this world. And this thing wanted her to help it find something? But what? It didn't even know itself! Sigh. Bun was kicking around in her stomach and she sighed, frowning down at her tummy and petting it gently. She was so hungry, and she was eating for two! She needed something to eat. Soon. The creature floated lazily around her head, lying on its back in midair with its tongue hanging over its eye and making a strange noise as it floated around. Suddenly there came a loud honk from somewhere in the house and Other gasped, jumping back a bit and covering her belly protectively. The...the goose?! It was in the house! Oh dear! If it was in the house it could break things and possibly hurt itself! The smoky creature suddenly started to go nuts again, rolling right-side up and flailing its little arms wildly, its eye wide and its voice once again squeaky and high-pitched. The goose had run by now, a key in its mouth and its wings flapping wildly as it tried to find a way of escape. "THEYKEYTHEKEYGETTHEKEYQUICKGETTHEKEYGETITGETITGETITGEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT!" Other gasped and covered her ears, turning away from the screeching nutbar. Ow! Her ears! That hurt! She pushed the door behind her closed and watched the goose run away again. She had to catch a goose? Did this thing have any idea how impossible that was for her not pregnant?! It'd be so much harder in her current state!

"How am I supposed to catch it? I can't run like this." She frowned and the creature merely blinked, staring down at Other's large stomach and then looking very seriously at her face again.

"Youcouldlosesomeweightgorunrunrunyou'retoofattonotrungogogogogogooooooooo!" Other's eyes widened and she puffed out her cheeks, clenching her fists. Fat?! Sh-she wasn't fat! She was pregnant! A...and if she ran she could trip and hurt the baby and...and she couldn't run after that thing! How rude! The nutbar didn't seem to realize how rude it was just now, looking quite serious and just waiting for her to take off further into the house after the goose. Other sighed and started to walk forward into the house, checking every room she passed for some sign of the goose. Not in the dining room, not in the family room, not the kitchen...huh. Where could it be? While she was in the kitchen she heard something clattering around in the cupboards along the floor, tilting her head she cautiously walked up to one of them, opening the door...

And that's when the goose came flying out of the cupboard and ran out again. The nutbar began screeching again about chasing after it and calling her fat again. What, did it think that would provoke her? Hmph. She wasn't fat. She...she wasn't fat! She wasn't...she was just...her belly had a baby in it so she...mmf. Other cradled her belly and sighed, trying not to think about it. Keep calm, you're not fat. You're just pregnant. There was a big difference! Right...? She wasn't gaining too much weight, was she? Ugh, now it was all she could think about until the goose went squawking by the doorway again and down the hall in a comical fashion. It was seriously desperate to get out of the house! She heard a crash of something getting knocked over and broken; cringing at the thought of this poor person who would come home to find it looking ransacked and destroyed. Maybe if she left a note explaining what happened they would be a little bit more understanding? But she couldn't think about that now! She needed...a way to get that goose. What was her current situation? She couldn't chase the goose, she couldn't just lean over and grab the goose, and it was flailing far too much for her to just hold onto it. It could hurt her or the baby! Gah...not fair. What could she do, what could she doooooo? What did geese like? Flying, to be outdoors...but she couldn't let it be outside, it could escape far too easily. It was cruel to leave it in the house it wanted to leave but she needed it to stay here. What else did they like? ...FOOD! Geese liked food! Oh, but she would hate to use the food that belonged to whoever lived here. Oh dear. What a predicament. She could use a little food and lure the goose to her and get out of here, or she could just let it continue to destroy the house.

Sigh, looked like she'd need to go with the lesser of two evils. Other turned around to look around the kitchen, checking every cupboard and box until she found a load of bread. Great! Geese liked bread, right? They were birds! And birds liked bread. She hummed softly and wandered out of the kitchen with the bread, finding the goose squawking and running around the living room in circles. Both Other and the nutbar just stared at it for a moment, exchanging a glance at each other and a sigh before Other began to tear little pieces off the bread loaf. She tossed them into the room, instantly getting the goose's attention. The goose honked once and wandered over to the pile of bread bits just mysteriously appearing from nowhere, dropping the key in its mouth onto the floor and beginning to peck at the bread. Delicious! Other took the chance to cautiously make her way into the room, still tossing bread crumbs and even throwing them further away. It worked; the stupid goose followed the flying bread crumbs. Now it was just a matter of picking up the key...that was going to be hard. Hmmm, how to go about doing this. Other placed the load of bread on a table beside her and the nutbar dove for it, gnawing loudly on the loaf while Other very, very slowly started to get down on one knee. She had to get this key herself. Val wasn't here, Miranda wasn't here, Savannah and Sally weren't here, and even Deet or her parents or Val's parents were here. It was just Other, a strange...thing and a goose. The goose was out of the question. So now Other was getting down on one knee, carefully leaning around her stomach. At first she could only brush the key with her fingers, managing to slide it over with some effort and finally snatching it up. Yes! Finally! She got it! It was a tiny bit easier to get up with the help of the table's support, standing on her own two feet with a bit of trouble but she did manage to sigh with relief and hold the key out for the creature. "Is this what you wanted?" She asked, watching as the creature stopped gnawing long enough to look at the key in Other's hand.

"YESYESYESTHANKYOUFATLADYYAAAAAAAAAAAY!" Ugh! For the last time she wasn't fat!

Prompt #4

The key had been acquired...so now what? Did this key bring them home? She would really like to go home now! Surely Val was freaking out and wondering where the heck she was! Ugh, this wasn't good. This wasn't good at all. She had to get home soon! The nutbar was gnawing happily on the newly gotten key, drooling all over the place and all but forgetting completely about the very pregnant woman he had forced to help him get the key. He didn't even thank her! How rude! Other sighed and watched the goose eat away at the bread crumbs, cradling her large stomach and just waiting for her chance to go home. Please, please, please. She just wanted to go home. Home to her family where it was safe and she knew her surroundings, she was comfortable in her own home not this...weird place. "Can I please go home now?" Other whined to which the nutbar stopped gnawing and stared at her with its giant eye. What?! Go home?! No! Not yet!

"NONOTYETYOUHAVETOGETMEMYSUPERIMPORTANTITEMYOUHAVETOGETITYOUCAN'TLEAVEUNTILYOUDOFATTYMCFATTERSON!" It shrieked, and Other's face actually fell into the unbelievable. Something no one ever thought she would ever be capable of doing; Other scowled. She. Wasn't. Fat! If he kept this up she...she wouldn't help him! He was just too mean! He didn't deserve whatever thing he was trying to get, if it was so important why did he need her to get it for him? It wasn't fair! She wanted to stay home with her family and have a peaceful morning with them! The nutbar didn't seem to care that Other was obviously very upset with his constant insults, offering her the slobber covered key he had been gnawing on. Ew, she had to touch that? It was covered in its drool! Gross...but...if she had no choice. With a small sound of disgust Other gingerly took the key from the creature, holding it with only two fingers and touching as little of it as possibly. Ewewewgrossgrossew! The goose had stopped eating by now, giving the pair a strange look. It honked once to get the pregnant woman's attention, pointing its wing out the doorway of the room and leading her out. It took her down a hallway that...didn't quite seem to belong in the house. It just went on and on! Her feet were beginning to hurt, and her back was aching. She wanted to sit, she wanted to go home. She actually had plans today and she couldn't just skip out on them because she was basically kidnapped by something the size of her fist! Argh!

Another door. This one opened on its own into a room of boxes, all glittering gold and practically blinding the poor girl. Geeze, what was up with this? It didn't make sense! They all had keyholes though...so...that's what this key was for? She had to unlock a box? But which one?! This could take all day! "D...do I have to do this?" Other asked with a frown as she looked upon the piles of boxes. There were three clusters, and each of them had at least ten gold boxes. This just wasn't fair! Why did she have to be the one to do this!? Ugh. The nutbar merely nodded and started squealing again, going on about how 'fatty had to hurry up and find his treasure'. If he called her fat one more time she...she...well...she wasn't going to be very happy, that's for certain! With a long sigh Other rest one hand on her stomach and waddled over to the first stack of boxes. Hopefully this drool-covered key worked. The...box didn't open? She blinked, trying to shove the key into the keyhole again. It wouldn't fit! Darnit! It was too big!? Why have these boxes if the key didn't work for them?

Take two! Other picked up a second box and tried to fit the key into its keyhole, gasping when it slid in and clicked when she turned it. This was it! This was the box she wanted! Yay! Other actually giggled with excitement, very curious to see what this thing's treasure was now. What had she just wasted so much time and effort to get? Was it money? A keepsake? Something incredible, no doubt! She opened the box, looking into it with a look that could almost be described as excitement...until she saw what was inside.

A simple brown button. It wasn't even shiny.

"You...kidnapped me and insulted me for a button?" Other whimpered a bit, but the nutbar didn't care or appear to notice that she was upset again. Instead he cheered and darted through Other's head so it could get at the button in the box, gnawing on it happily and drooling everywhere. Button! Button! His button! Yaaaaay! Other stared, dismayed by the fact that she had done all this for a button. Not even a shiny new button. An old brown button from a shirt or something. That wasn't fair!

"ButtonmybuttonwheeeeeeeeyayNOWGOAWAYIDON'TNEEDYOUANYMORESHOOSHOOIWANNABEALONEWITHMYBUTTONNOWheeeeeeebuttooooooon~." A door opened beside Other and she gasped, holding her stomach protectively. Well...good! She didn't want to be here anyway! She stepped through the door only to find herself in her bedroom again, turning her back to her bed and sitting down with a sigh of exhaustion. Wait...why was she so tired? Had the baby taken up that much energy from her just to walk to and from the shower? Geeze, Bun. Way to tire out Mommy.

...Wait how did she get onto her feet? She was pretty sure she'd been sitting. Huh. Oh well, perhaps it was just...one of those things? Weird.
