For the past few months my family and I have been stressing out over where I'm going to live and finding a good apartment was not going well. Last week, we found the perfect place and I'm so happy. The best part... it's pet-friendly! So this means that I'll get to keep my rabbit, Shadow, with me. As another added bonus, they're not charging the $400 pet fee for her nor will I get charged the extra monthly fee for having her there (I guess they figure smaller animals won't be as much trouble as a dog or a cat). This is very good news for me and her - I was so excited, I just had to share it. ^^

That is awesome! What area do you live in, if you don't mind me asking?
I just recently moved and it was so hard to find a pet friendly place in San Diego. But we did, and since the carpet is already covered in what I hope is Kool-Aid, they didn't charge us the pet deposit either!

That's awesome! I'm so glad you get to keep her with you ^.^We have a place in St. Augustine if we want it (pet friendly), but I'm not sure if we're moving to Florida or not right now.

That's great news! I want to move into a house of my own, but if I have to go into an apartment for a while, I will search for one that will allow me to take my dog, cat, snake, and fish with me. I am refusing to leave any of them behind. I know my dog will be depressed as hell, as will my cat. My snake will never get handled, and will likely start to associate the opening of the lid meaning food and will then be near impossible to hold...
