Bounding through the tall grass, Nisha had weasled her way away from her father for the day, desperately wanting to go play and explore without him. She loved him to pieces, but every cub needed to have a little time to themselves.
And this was her day.
Well, night. It was dark out, well after her supposed 'bedtime,' but her dark colors where what helped her to get away from her white father. He illuminated so much in the night, and tonight especially, with the full moon shinning brightly down from the starry sky.
Little paws jumping from spot to spot, Nisha pounced on top of a rock, golden eyes looking around at the dark scenery. She had expected for someone else to be out tonight, as full moons usually brought out a managerie of creatures, something she had learned when she was kidnapped away from the demon pride by her father. She felt a little guilt, leaving her two siblings there, but at least they had each other, where she was all alone, a strikingly different looking cub against her father. She didn't even have the same tail as him, and she really wondered why.

When darkness fell, Silas felt most at home, and with the moon full on his back it felt almost like he was out enjoying the sun. he had never enjoyed the sun, his coat so blank and his ears and nose such a soft pink that he had been confined to the shadows always observing the daylight, never enjoying it. In the moonlight though, well, he could enjoy the moonlight and it made his coat glow a perfect white casting a halo around him almost.
It was no wonder really why people called him 'ghost' sometimes behind his back, sometimes to his face, in this light he certainly cast the form of a ghost to the world.
The Savannah was so beautiful at night and his mind was wondering on how the moon changed the conturs and shapes of the world he knew so little of when he spotted a dark movement. He pauses, flickering his tail and squinting through the shadows. Who was there? Someone so dark he could bearly make out their shape against the moonlit fields. He waits quietly, he wasn't afraid, he was big enought o protect himself but a shadow in the shadows was some what unnerving, even for him.

Feeling very ninja-like in the dark, Nisha hopped off her rock, ducking down in the grass for a moment, she wiggled against the grass, loving the feeling of it on her sides. She popped up, a grin on her face as she looked around. It didn't take long for a bright and glowing figure to catch her eye, and it did more than just unnerve her. She had never seen something like it, and it was large, nonetheless.
Starting to pad forward slowly, she tried to rely on her dark coat to keep her from any danger, but it didn't keep her from being curious of the white creature. She could make out a few familiar shapes- legs, a tail, and the faint outline of a mane. Was it just a lion? It didn't look like a regular lion, at least.
"Who are you, ghosty thing?" Keeping a slight distance, she felt her fear subside, taken over by her friendly nature.
