You will need:
1 black candle
1 white candle
paper
something to write with (pen, pencil, crayon, etc)
caldron or other fire proof container

What to do
1) Cast your circle and call quarters as you normally would.
2)Sit/stand at your alter. Light the black candle. Take the paper and writiting instrument and write down whatever is bothering you. Feel free to be as lengthy as you want. If you are mad at someone or something write not only what is bothing you but why it bothers you. If something is stressing you, make sure to express every detail.
3) After you are done writing, hold the paper in your dominant hand. Focus deeply on all that you're feeling, and imagine the emotions draining out of your mind/heart and into the paper.
4) When you're ready, take the paper and light it via the black candle, and let it burn inside the caldron or other flame proof container. As you do this say :
"These emotions I release, let my mind now be at peace"
5)**Optional step** If you are able to go outside, do so at this time. Take with you the caldron with the ashes of the paper (make sure they are fully put out before doing this step!!.) Release the ashes to the wind and as you do so say:
"Like ashes to the wind, let my mind free,
these emotions fly away, so mote it be"
these emotions fly away, so mote it be"
6) If you chose do to step 5, go back inside at this time. Now light the white candle. As you do this, focus on the good emotions you want to experience in place of the ones you are releasing (happiness, peace, etc). Spend some time meditating while watching the candle, and imagine these good feelings surrounding you.
7) Close your circle as you normally would, and let your mind be at peace smile
This spell may be repeated as often as necessary. Do it any time you have unwanted emotions to let go of!
