Hello everyone! You may or not know me, but I do not often spend much time in the Roleplaying forum, however I had a new idea for an on-going story that people get to participate in. This won't be the typical RP by post that most of your are probably used to, but it will be a different approach altogether. Here is how it works;

There will be a narrator/writer of a story - this person will control the thread and be incharge of reporting and monitoring story flow.
There will also be a number of roleplayers/characters to be involved in the story.
Each person will either post a character description or have one assigned to them.
Depending on the amount of activity of all people involved, the story will be written out and compounded daily, weekly or even monthly.

When a roleplayer/character makes a post or sends a PM to the narrator/writer, it will become part of the story when the information is compounded - but the narrator/writer can choose to edit or remove content that wouldn't fit into the story or wouldn't work with what has already been added.
All of the information that gets compounded will be added into one main post, the actual story.

So, if the narrator makes a setting like a college campus study group of misfits who have been forced to stay in the library to study for upcoming finals and then character 1 posts, "My character (named Lucy) walks into the center room and removes her shirt.", and then character 2 posts, "*drools*" and character 3 posts, "my character (named Debra) yells 'Don't do that!'" and the story gets compounded it would read something like:
A group of misfit college students are forced to spend a night together in the campus library for an impromptu study session by the campus administration. The administration had noticed the grades of these student slipping and that they shared similar classes. The students were to stay in the library, watched over by the somewhat creepy, somewhat strange male librarian. Soon after the students were rounded up and locked in, one of the female students, named Lucy devised a plan to get everyone's attention. She marched into the center of the room and pulled her shirt off. Immediately some of the guys in the room started gawking and drooling over Lucy's newly revealed breasts. But not all the attention she got was admiration - just as soon as Lucy dropped her shirt to the floor, another female student named Debra cried out, "Don't do that!"

That is very basic, with little thought behind it, but I hope you get the idea. I would like feedback on this system and appreciate any input you might have.
