These newly formed days seemed so different from the days that Linda could remember if she thought back long enough. Those days were she had a name for herself, where she could strike terror in to the hearts of those around her and ruled over what she claimed as her own. Back then she could easily find amusement in those whom thought they could take her down or over throw her, but in the end no one stopped her from what she wanted.
Those days, her memories and height of power, they were all long gone. She had woken up to a world of much change. One where no one really knew her or what she stood for. It was a sign that she would have to start all over again and rebuild what she had lost.
Such thought sent the Kelpie in to white anger. To lose what she worked hard for and then lose it with what seemed like the snap of a finger. She had gone in to such a long sleep and now, now she had to make her place in a new world.
With a scuff she mutant stared up at the orange shimmer breaking the top of the lake, but not breaking enough to reach the dark depths of the bottom of the lake. Soon, soon she would swim to the top and start her nightly work.

Things had been settling done, and Nadia was growing bored. She had no one to fight for, or protect for another night. She needed ot learn to enjoy those nights, but it felt not quite right. She walked along the path, hearing water in the distance... A drink might be nice. The mare walked purposefully over to the water.
"Hm..." Before she left the cover to the wood, she looked around. It seemed as it something visited the area frequently. For certain areas were worn in its wake. She cautiously stepped out. Of course the stubborn mare didn't turn and go elsewhere.

Adalinda could no longer keep her attention to the setting sun for the prospect of new company now tugged at her senses and her mind. Would it be predator or prey? Were they smart, or simply loud mouthed and idiotic? And most importantly, what species where they?
The mare’s glowing eyes slowly scanned the edges of the lake for anything that could catch her attention, but from where she stood she couldn’t pick up much. She would have to move closer to the surface and risk giving out her location, but that would just be a price for potential fun and amusement.
Ever so slowly the kelpi drove herself closer to the surface, but made sure nothing but her back fins and tail would break the delicate blanket of water. It was now that she could lay eyes on the one who dared to take step in her territory, and it surely was not something she was expecting to see.
“And what has the little mare come all this way for? It must be something important if you would risk coming this way.”

Nadia's ears twitched as she drew closer to the water, when the surface was broken. She halted, and listened, then a voice came through. The voice had a tone of that made Nadia tilt her head. Something so small was large for another.
"Water." She said blankly. If she couldn't drink there, then she'd go elsewhere. It's not like she really cared, water was water. She got the feeling that the submerged soquili was either a Mer, or Kepli, most likely Kepli based on the location of the water.
She walked over to the edge of the water, and she looked down into its depths, trying to make out the body of the other.
