That's ******** stupid. Baraka isn't a demon. Reptile isn't a reptile, just ugly. Scorpion is the goddamn protagonist and there is no ******** mention of magic or the netherworld. Fail. Fail of epic proportions.

Reptile has been featured in almost every title in the series under the same pretenses, though he has yet to be rewarded for his efforts. God damn MK revision! Baraka was already in Wolverine Origins... ******** YOU! Scorpion is not a protagonist. He's more of a ******** he's been a boss. In Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, Scorpion is the boss character from the first stage fighting the elder Sub-Zero. He was enlisted by Quan Chi to find a map hidden in a Shaolin temple, a task also given to Sub-Zero. After Scorpion is killed by Sub-Zero, he acts as a boss character in the Netherrealm, trying to kill Sub-Zero once again. But really.. REALLY?

Fail of epic proportions. I actually have to disagree with you. In the last couple years, we've seen many revamps of classics and in some occasions, the U-turn to something a little more "realistic" had success. Example: Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. They scrapped the supernatural characters such as Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy and they were still able to make something really interesting. And personally, I'd rather watch something like that, that is INSPIRED FROM the video games than a cheezy cartoonish version where we have all the characters so identical to the video games that it literally turns ridiculous, and then have Sub Zero's brother, Sub Zero (they killed SZ Celcius, and then SZ Farenight came to replace him I guess...) coming in just because they realized their mistake by killing the character... Because that's what we must keep in mind, it is INSPIRED FROM. And if you don't like it because it's not identical enough to the game, then buy the game, play it and shut the ******** up.

Actually from my understanding, Reptile isn't a reptile in the film, he is a Harlequin baby. It's a skin disease. And he'd probably be dead. I think it'd be better if he was just a reptile.

Yuke is right (again...), The original sub-zero is Noob Saibot, now reborn as a wraith if I'm correct...A wraith or some type of phantom.
Also, watch reptiles death in the original MK movie, and the beginning, a beast gets tossed into a statues stomach and a bunch of tendrils pull it in and it turns into Reptile...
Scorpion has always been a bad guy in films, but Shao Khan, Shang Tsung or Reiko have usually been the protagonists...
Speaking of which, has Reiko ever been featured in a mortal kombat film? And what about Smoke, Sektor and Cyrax???
Baraka wasn't a demon, he was a creature from Netherworld...If I recall correctly...
Raiden has to be in it since hes like the mortal kombat icon. Lui Kang should be in it seeing as he is the main hero of the ENTIRE series...
And I wanna see Havik and Kabal in the movies, they would look sweet...
