Ram–noun 1. a male sheep. 2.Astronomy, Astrology . the constellation or sign of Aries. (Definition from Dictonary.com)
Bighorn Sheep are named for the large, curved horns borne by the males, or rams. Females, or ewes, also have horns, but they are short with only a slight curvature. They range in color from light brown to grayish or dark, chocolate brown, with a white rump and lining on the back of all four legs. Males typically weigh 127-316 lb (58–143 kg), are 36-41 in (90–105 cm) tall at the shoulder, and 69-79 in (176–200 cm) long from the nose to the tail. Females typically are 75-188 lb (34–85 kg), 30-36 in (75–90 cm) tall and 54-67 in (138–171 cm) long.[13] Bighorns from the Rocky Mountains are relatively large, with males that occasionally exceed 500 lb (230 kg) and females that exceed 200 lb (90 kg). In contrast, Sierra Nevada Bighorn males weigh up to only 200 lb (90 kg) and females to 140 lb (60 kg). Males' horns can weigh up to 30 lb (14 kg), as much as the rest of the bones in the male's body.[14]
Bighorn sheep graze on grasses and browse shrubs, particularly in fall and winter, and seek minerals at natural salt licks. Bighorns are well adapted to climbing steep terrain where they seek cover from predators such as coyotes, golden eagles, and cougars. They live in large herds, but do not have the strict dominance hierarchy of the mouflon: that is, they do not automatically follow a single leader ram, unlike the Asiatic ancestors of the domestic sheep.
Prior to the mating season or "rut", the rams attempt to establish a dominance hierarchy that determines access to ewes for mating. It is during the prerut period that most of the characteristic horn clashing occurs between rams, although this behavior may occur to a limited extent throughout the year.[15] Ram's horns can frequently exhibit damage from repeated clashes. Bighorn ewes exhibit a six-month gestation. In temperate climates, the peak of the rut occurs in November with one, or rarely two, lambs being born in May. The lambs are then weaned when they reach 4–6 months.
Bighorn Sheep are considered good indicators of land health because the species is sensitive to many human-induced environmental problems. In addition to their aesthetic value, Bighorn Sheep are considered desirable game animals by hunters. The Rocky Mountains and Sierra Nevada Bighorn occupy the cooler mountainous regions of Canada and the United States. In contrast, the Desert Bighorn Sheep subspecies are indigenous to the hot desert ecosystems of the Southwestern United States.
Bighorn Sheep are highly susceptible to certain diseases carried by domestic sheep such as scabies and pneumonia; additional mortality occurs as a result of accidents involving rock fall or falling off cliffs (a hazard of living in steep, rugged terrain). (from Wikipedia)
Ram's Horns are usually cultivated for instruments.

 Name:Sloan Ranger Nicknames:Tex, Cowboy. Gender:Male.
Eye Color:Brown Skin Tone:Tan Hair Color:Sun tan Brown Hair Length:Short and spiky Height:6'3 Build:Large, Broad shoulders and and a tinier waist. Not fat, but not lean.
Clothing:Sloan likes to dress simple, a pair of jeans, a white shirt, Cowboy boots and hat. Makes his day.
Personality:Sloan is the kinda of man that entices a sense of awe in others, mostly due to his looks which he knows he is constantly based on. As for the inside, Sloan has a complicated range of emotions that play on each other constantly, while he thinks himself Simple, others would see him as bipolar.
As a child, much like Sterling and not, He was a sweet boy with a sweet demeanor. He was always respectful of the laides and older men around him, even to the kids of his own age. His was a polite growing up. Like sterling, He tired of the constant attention and praises from his mother and herr friends, who he come to hate later in life, instead of quietly rebelling went into a stage of deep lapse of character.
This stage was his teenage years, where he engrossed himself in school and sports to get away from the Old women that seemed to frequent his house. He worked up a reputation of being dilgent and did not escape the scruinty of the older generations like he thought he could.
As he graduated from his school, Sloan decided to take a simpler life, where people couldn't bother him and where no one relied on him so much besides the things he wanted to tend. Packing up all his stuff, Sloan made himself a barn and house on a large plot of land that he loved.
As of now, the man Sloan has developed into is a combination of the same sweet caring child but with a temper and drive of his teenage years. He makes sure to go out of his way for his animals and crops, tending them the best he can with his famaous dilgent drive. Even in time though, With the lack of people around him, Sloan became more withdrawn into himself, never to voice his thoughts unless asked, which was rare when alone. He has been known to turn people away from his farm, mostly with a cold attitude and lack of social skills.
Regardless of this fact, his mother makes time to come visit him often bringing her hoard of friends and even though he has a short temper and cold attitude towards them, The ladies love him.
The Dust to him:As he was walking the barn tending to animals, he found a glass bottle tucked into the crook of the door of one his pregnant sheep's stall. Curious and a little bit confused in how the object got into the space, Sloan took it home, setting it on his counter. As the days went by, Sloan carried out his duties as the Rancher he was and came into his house, his eyes instantly drawn to the bottle he had left there. As if becoming a habit, he studied before going to bed like every night. Something however didn't sit still with him as he laid down to rest, night fully bloomed outside his window. As he laid in his bed, he tossed and turned, uncomfortable and restless, he got up and went down to the counter where he left his bottle. Picking it up, he felt a eerie kind of warmth from it and for some reason had the urge to check on his animals. Pocketing the bottle he headed down to the barn, checking stable after stable and still restless.
As he passed the stable where he first found the bottle, He noticed his pregnant sheep turning weird and making sounds. Worried, he opened the door to see her womb bleeding. Acting as swiftly as he could, he ran out to gather supplies for the birthing of a new animal. Coming back, he set about to nursing the mother sheep into birth.
After hours of sweaty and bloody work, Sloan was surprised that his sheep had given birth to not only 3 lambs, although one was still born, but to a different kind then his usual stock which we're Oxfords's. These had the characteristics of the Tan Ram that inhibited the mountains around his farmland. Keeping the twin sheep alive, he named them Lune and Sole, and for the sake of the third one, named it Sterling, Their names coincide as Moon, Sun and Star. The still born he looked upon sadly, it was hard for him to lose something that didn't have a chance to live. And although this act was considered a deflation of a corpse, regardless of it being a animal, Cut off the stillborn's horns, small they we're, he fit them into the bottle he had found and buried the animal in a graveyard like land, setting up a marker.
Tired and dirty from all the work, he checked on the new mother and twin sheep/ram hybrids and satisfied that the animals we're doing good, returned to home with his bottle. Instead of leaving the bottle on the counter like he usually did, he took it up to his room and left it on a shelf full of odd collected things. He stared at it once more before cleaning himself and resting exhausted in his bed.
As Sterling develops into a Dust, Sloan comes to terms that the ram boy is much like the still born and goes to great care to take care of him. However, he doesn't know how to really handle a child and usually lets Sterling to do as he does.

Weaknesses:Social skills befitting of laddies and Gents and the lack of knowledge of what bottles are truly. Ok i'm really biased because I absolutely love ram horns. .___. <3
I like how he started as a 'sweet' mischievous boy. Deceiving others with his feigned sweetness and charm. I kind of liked to see that carry out into later on in his life, but then more of a feigned kindness than sweetness. XD BUT ANYWAY, him becoming an out of control boy is really interesting too. He became such a problem child for his guardian.
His basic personality is nice. and I really love how you made his appearance. Seriously. I love it. I'm already tempted to sketch him. .3. /bias
Just want to say. Add more personality to the personality portion. While I appreciate the story behind the events in their lives there actually isn't much personality to read up on. (well, this is more on the guardian though, but as well as the dust)
That's all I have to crit~
