Just in case you haven't read my other posts, I believe my house is haunted. I've had encounters ever since I've started my paranormal studies. A few days ago, something extremely odd happened. I woke up at six in the morning to go to school. I got ready and went downstairs. Right at the bottom of the stairs is a bathroom, and there's a window angled nearby. The way the mirror is facing the window, the light always shines into the mirror. It was already pretty light out, and the Sun was shining straight through the window. The bathroom door was wide open, so the Sun should've been shining through the mirror, but instead, it was all void. I walked away from the bathroom, kinda freaked out. I walked back about five minutes later and it was still dark in the mirror, completely black. The last time I walked by, it was normal, and I could see my reflection again.
I hope this is a good explaination, I'm not very good at describing things. :3 Someone, please tell me what happened, if you can.

I'm not sure what it could be but have you tried re-creating the effect? For example could it be something was blocking the light and made it seem dark? Or was it just had an odd angle that day?
I'm not disbelieving you just looking at it from all angles.

I checked it yesterday, the sun was shining directly into the mirror.

Maybe try moving the mirror to a different site for a day and see whether it happens again.

You must understand that Scrying takes quite a bit of practice to develop ones Astral Vision. What is Astral Vision?.... it is the ability to see onto the Astral Planes.] extracted from spellsandmagic.
also, scrying- it is the divination of future or past events or talking with spirits from another plane of existence by gazing into an object such as the Black Mirror. Now the Black Mirror is not the only thing that can be used for scrying. It can be a puddle of water or a crystal ball or a piece of shiny metal.... even a regular mirror will work.

Haha, I didn't mean to freak you out. I'm sorry. I moved the mirror into the basement for exactly 24 hours, then put it back. Nothing has happened since, but the incidents don't happen daily, so I'll have to wait a while to tell you whether or not it actually worked.

You might have been just tired and feeling rushed, but that is freaky. If it happens again wait for a little to see what happens. And I suppose if something freaky happens, run for it. Haha. But it might be utilized as a scrying device, which is always rather fun when done right.
