Iseki Point, remnants of an ancient ruin, have been discovered in the Kihachiro Aratake near Yonaguni Island. It is a 500 ft. long, 8+ story, man-made building. These ruins were a ceremonial religious area and the ruins were rumored to have been built around the Ice Age in 8000 BC. It is the oldest structure when it comes to pyramids (beat Egypt by at least 5000 years).
Many archaeologists believed it was built around 10000 BC, but the population was mainly hunter-gatherers around that time. 3000 BC was the first to see the world's 1st civilizations in Egypt and Mesopotamia, so other scholars, like Professor Kimura, believe it was built around 8000 BC.
Plato is the legendary orator of the tale of Atlantis and the Asians have a similar story that could prove there was a 10000 BC civilization. The island of Peng Jia (people flying & eternal life) and the island of Mu (mystical island from a Hawaiian chant) could have been the actual Yonaguni Island. But 3 super floods destroyed the site within 8000 years.
