I liked the set....
It gave way to a number of different decks and none were to over powered.....
After Meridion I thought i was going to quit because the tourney play sucked a**.....
But Kami came and I'm like this is okay.....
It kept people in the game so I say Kudos to Kami block....

AS a block it sucked there were very few good card that came out of it. All of the good card were sider board cards for the most part very few playible cards. The uncommons and commons from that set are worth more than al of the rares.

i personally didnt lke the idea that almost everything was a legond... it really limited the decks. unless you had the mirror. but even then it made them whimpy.

i liked it, especially the legend thing, after all i think instead of limiting decks it made people thin harder to make a 60 card deck when they couldnt just run 4 of every good card, thus expanding decks not limiting them.

I wasn't into the whole Samurai thing (but my friend and brother were)

The only things I found good about it were the shrines and a couple of other cards.

Other than that, I didn't like it.

*shrug*
I felt that Kamigawa was lackluster, for the most part. And, too many legendary things for my liking. But then, that could be that I'm one of those "Vorthos" types, in respect to not running more than one of anything legendary. xd

I like Kamigawa, it had something great about it.
Great cards ^^

I like the kamigawa block because of the way the creatures boost each other and/or reduced negative effects which made your opponent (or yourself) have to stratagize more and exploit thier weaknesses to win.

i liked the kamigawa block, it add some interesting things to magic, like the new legend rule i like that alot more than the old legend rule
plus it had pithing needle and cranial extraction

ya the new legond rule is a good one. and its not like i cant say there was bad cards in the set...(i personally liked evermind.what a neet card.) it was just to much like they all worked together too well.. seemed like a set made from slivers. but not so versitile. thew only way it made the decks thin was how nearley every card was legondary.(or at least the good ones) thats no fun.

for constructed, the block was lackluster, but for some reason, drafting kamigawa block was SOOOOOO fun!!!! i don't know what it was, but drafting it was the most fun i've had in a long time!
and because of the contributions that the block did have on constructed, i think overall, it was a good block.

Yeah, the block sucked a**. 600+ cards of crap and then a fistful of busted ones. Jitte, to name one. It was an extremely unbalanced, boring blotch on the history of magic. The block was made to attract yugioh noobs and japan-wannabes to magic. Everyone knows japan is the new black, so there you have it a shoddy set of cards made to get the attention 12 year old otakus.

lol i tihnk you somewheat have a point.. strange though. he avorage age for people playing magic is 21 years of age(becuse we have $ to spend on it )whay change direction all of a suddon? i odnno i tryed yugioh and hated it .. i made a deck with just a bunch of scrap that i threw together and beat evveryone i saw. i think it was more luck then stratgy. but you have to admit...tsome of the critters look kool. but i think that is the nicest thing i could say about it...the rest would be blamming it.
