Description: Located in an open-roof stadium is the ring where the first round fights will be taking place. The sound of wild cheering from the many fans that have congregated here fill the arena in a loud uproar as cameras zoom in on the action to broadcast the fights all over the world. The floor of the arena is a glossy hard floor with the logo of GTB painted in purple and pink upon the white sheen.

Field Measurements: The fighting area is a perfect circle with a 50 yard diameter. The walls that keep the fighters away from the spectators are raised up to ten feet.

Ten Count Boundary: The ten count begins whenever the fighter is knocked out of the bounds of the fighting area, such as into the spectator seats. The flying count out is also in effect, which means, if you stay above ground by your own will for more than ten seconds, you will be DQ'd.

Fight Ends: After 11:59 PM on Jun 16th. That means when it becomes Jun 17th, fights are over.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

The vampire walked the dark hall on the east side of the Stadium in silence, save for the rhythmic tapping of his footfalls. From a distance he could be seen approaching, his smile and the lenses of his glasses glowing devilishly in the pitch black.

In the Stadium proper, the crowds were droning pre-game noise as people found their seats or talked to one another. It was a few minutes before the lights dimmed and the main display stopped scrolling through advertisements, a cheery announcer taking the event underway with a characteristically bold voice. People quieted to pay attention to the spectacle, as the show began.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for the CEO and founder of Grapple, first-time GTB participant and Heaven or Hell Captain of Team ODESSA, KAAAAAYYYBEEEEE!"

Thundering applause met the vampire as he stepped out from the archway of the hallway, and into the shade the Stadium afforded him. He lifted his gloved hands to the screaming masses, making sure to slowly turn so that he had a chance to face all of them. The vampire was encouraging their ecstatic adulation, his eyes shut behind his gleaming glasses.

To him, the stands were a fireworks display of beating hearts and thrumming veins. Men and women, children, people of every shape and size were all put into such a fit of excitement that their bodies became ablaze. They were like the stars in the night sky, each hellishly aglow and exploding with energy.

Finally his eyes opened to regard the morning congregation, his display ending and his sights leveling to the field across from him. The morning light seemed to cut the arena in half, his eastern portion shrouded in protective shade, the western bathed in potentially lethal sunlight. The ambient morning light didn't seem to bother the vampire much - only that direct exposure had him hold back.

His left hand dropped, his right lowering to chest height. Palm upturned, fingers spread, arm extended, his gloved hand beckoned forth the opposition. KB spoke only a few words mildly, and with finality.

"Come, and be destroyed."

"..and that other guy Isah something-or-other."

Isah looked.. aggrivated.

The swordsman hefted his blade, the Urgeilar, onto a shoulder and looked around. Examining his surroundings for a moment before his eyes would fall upon his opponent: KB. A man of apparent importance and prestige. But neither aspect of his personal history applied right now. Only prowess in battle.

Against a cranky swordsman.

Isah strode on forward.

Ten feet..

The vampire approached to a point, standing 15 feet from the wall in the shade. His hand was still up and gesturing, even though he and his opponent seemed to have come to a standstill. It didn't matter what happened really, KB would not move into the sunlight to engage his opponent. If the man was equally fearful of the shadow...

"Closer."

Isah made a >:{ face.

He continued to stroll toward KB. The blade of the Urgeilar lifted off his shoulder. It's handle was held in both hands, at a diagonal angle, the tip pointing away Isah.

Five feet.

KB's elbow bent maybe half an inch, then his hand pushed forwards again. The action was small, his hand turned over so that his palm was facing Isah, the fingers still spread. Spectators gasped and pointed when they realized what had happened, that KB had falcon punched his opponent. Whether or not he'd be successful remained to be seen.

Falcon Punch
KB uses Negative Energy to propel himself forwards in a concentrated burst. The maximum effective range of this technique is 20ft. This distance is crossed almost instantly. Terrain is not an issue unless there are notable obstructions that would physically block him from reaching his target, and can't be simply barreled through. ( Thick stone walls for example, or vehicles. ) Once activated this ability cannot be stopped unless the punch connects or the distance is traveled.

Where the vampire had stood less than a moment ago, there was no trace of him. There was only the dark outline of his body shooting forwards, soles sliding along the polished floor so fast that he would make contact before the sword was in its proper position. Smiling as he exploded out of the purplish hue of negative energy, the vampire's extended hand would slam towards Isah's chest, aiming to send him toppling backwards. It was dually a punch by a vampire ( which was strong on its own ) and a surprise attack which took advantage of sheer speed.

Not only that, but characteristically, a successful punch would carry the usual debilitating effects. That is, provided Isah was a living man and not some sort of construct or zombie.

Energy Drain
By striking an enemy with a natural weapon KB is able to drain them of their will to live. This ability only applies to living creatures and thus has no effect on constructs or undead. The immediate effect of being struck is depression and a feeling of coldness, with consecutive strikes instilling feelings of hoplessness and dread. Repeated contact then begins to consume the life energy of the target, transfering it to the vampire and strengthening it. Desiccation of tissue and loss of function becomes evident as the soul is essentially removed from the body piece by piece.

The stands rattled, the round shook. It wasn't like an Earthquake, to pin point and far to mild. It felt like something was coming from the ground, and in multiple places and of varies sizes. The ground began to strain against itself, cracking periodically and then eventually bursting entirely.

Crrrccck!

What looked like an arm burst from the stands, slamming a spectator in the fast pimp slap style as it flew up into the air and shot toward the center of the ring.

CRASH!

The entire damn stadium erupted in glossy black body parts, and they all raced toward one another in the center of the arena. They clashed hard, rolling into a mess of limbs and joints and making a horrifying screech as metal met metal and people screamed.

The sky slowly became dark, and clouds began to cover the arena completely. This benefited KB, but it also motioned the coming of the most terrible thing the world over, a Necron Monolith appeared from the Heavens.

What now stood in the center of the ring was like an undead robot, but it didn't move and just hung limp on its own feet. But then the Monolith shot a green beam of energy into the figure, the Necron Lord suddenly came to life.

His emerald eyes began to glow and his joints oozed a green fog type energy, and he slowly began to work his joints in a very human like fashion. This robot from the ground was glossy black, with no expression and apparently fueled by a giant Pyramid like structure in the sky.

The Monolith merely spun hundreds of feet above the arena, aimlessly. It would leave these two to but one, the Lord. The Necron had a name, it even remembered it; it had a mind and it could think, in some senses it even had free will. But it was devoted to its Gods, and its Gods were infact those monoliths.

"Ahahahaha."

It wheezed, like an old record playing through shitty speakers with a loud type whine to the voice. In his hand was what was basically a halberd, or pole axe; and his 6'1" frame was entirely metal.

((Waits for Vansin trap to spring.))

That pokemon battle music suddenly came into play.

DUNNA NAH DUNNA NAH NAAAAAH NUH, NUNNAH NAH NUNNAH NAH NAAAAAAH~

Then there were evil black space robots. KB abandoned his current opponent in order to DEFEND HIMSELF. Surely the Judges couldn't be upset that someone defended themselves when they were attacked, right? Adjusting his glasses, the vampire flexed and soaked in the newfound shade.

"It's going to take more than an UFO to put me out of business." He said coolly, his voice BOOMING as he addressed the stadium. Somehow, at some point, he'd had a microphone attached to the inside of his collar for the purpose of relaying his trash talk. Given that he didn't breath or anything, he wouldn't be filling the speakers with the huffing and puffing of garbling, living fighters.

A simple command,

"Please, run and find shelter! DON'T LEAVE THE KIDS BEHIND OR I'LL FIND YOU. Oh, and uh, do so in an orderly and calm fashion."

End Transmission - Begin Immortal Kombat.

He clapped his hands, swiping the dirt free of his gloves in the dismissive motion.

The big ******** robot just walked at him, no guard or any of that fancy human none sense. The halberd head dragged across the ground slightly as he walked, the rear with the counter weight across his back toward his head. When we was in range of his halberd, him being 6'1" and the halberd being roughly 10 feet from tip to tip he was well out of range of KB, and he simply swung out with a single arm in a sloppy motion at the vampire.

It was incredibly strong, well beyond what human muscles could do from such a position. The attack didn't have enough angle to it to cut deep though, it was a test attack. The large Necron did make a noise as it were breathing, but in fact that was just green fog escaping his limbs as he moved.

His glossy black body seemed to absorb what little sunlight was in the area, and then radiate more green fog. He was like a giant solar panel or something, and each movement seemed to expel more of this green fog.

"Come, you are unlife such as I! You deserve to die with dignity!"

It was a strange statement, but Necron killed only the living in its conquest normally. Sadly, this creature would have to be dealt with for it posed a simple threat, and a threat was always dealt with.

The voice it emanated remained scratchy, like a speaker in a can or something of the like, and with each word it seemed to drag it to make a point of speaking the language correctly.

The vampire stepped into the range of the halberd deftly, his arm lifting on the side of the incoming weapon. His forearm would slam into the haft of the weapon, its blade striking only air as the vampire slid on his stiff soles across the glossy floor. Finding no real resistance besides the block, the vampire would move with the full motion of the swing before lifting his opposite arm towards the Necron Lord.

Stepping in, lifting his arm with a grip on the interior of his cape, a large steely wing formed. It had almost six feet of reach at its full extension, and stepping in with the attack meant the vampire was easily close enough. He aimed for the general chest area of the metal creature, though the size of his wingspan allowed for the vertical slash of his wing to bisect the arm en route to making a massive gouge in the chest.

"I'm afraid I'll be sending you and your masters to the scrap yard with much less!"

Screeech

The sound of claws on metal was horrifying, and it tore huge gashes in the Necron Lords living armor; but it did not serious damage other then causing the Lord to be mildly surprised at the sudden appearance of such an appendage. He would have to be more careful, and careful he would be.

Stepping into the strike he drew his other hand out and gripped the more rear of his own halberd, turning the back toward KB and attempting to strike him in the crotch or chest area depending on how he moved his lower body with the counter weight on the large weapon.

As he did this the fog oozing from his limbs began to form around the edges of the Necron Lord, any point or sharp edge slowly began to get coated with the stuff and get a faint glow, even the Lord's claws. Something terrible was happening, and it would soon take complete hold on the Lord.

"We shall see, flesh sack."

The Lord would have grinned if he could, something akin to laughter escaping his lips as stepped into his strike. At the heart of this Robots long captured soul was the heart of a fighter, and he loved every moment of combat against a skilled warrior.

Reeeeeeen!

People who were still fleeing covered their ears as the shrill sound of metal on metal erupted in the arena. The vampire had scored a minor blow on the Necron Lord, tearing into its metal hide. This would offer him a chance to see what these things were made of.

Then, the back end of the halberd came crashing into his leg. The pale flesh beneath the black material of his pants held fast, but the force of the blow was enough to drive his leg down. Dropping to a knee, impacting the glossy floor hard enough to crack it, KB pushed off with his good leg in a backspin.

His toes slid along the floor as he came around, pivoting on the knee of his opposite leg. His wing came with him in a backswing since he'd spun his arm away from the Necron Lord, such that the jagged edges of the cape wing came around from the opposite side, up at a 70 degree angle into the metal zombie's abdomen area. If he was successful in his backswing he would push up off his knee and use his foot, lifting himself back onto his feet proper to pull his arm through all the way.

If all went well, he would cut cleanly through the Necron from one end and out the other, allowing him to complete the spin and come to face the creature. One arm a shadowy black wing, the other humanoid with a white glove that stood in stark contrast to the entire ensemble.

A spin? The Lord would have grinned wider. His large emerald 'eyes' shining with a terrible blank gaze at the target. It was an interesting technique to say the least and the giant wing could do some damage to the Lord; but this was simple to counter and so counter he did.

The Necron Lord rose his left leg as his opponent spun and kicked hard at his back, a simple push kick. Powered by his mechanical muscles it would be like getting stomped on by a 300 lbs guy while you laid on your back and he brutalized your spine. The Lord had reflexes far faster then the average human, and with those reflexes came the ability to capitalize on fancy s**t like spinning back wings.

Still holding the halberd with both hands he also placed it between himself and the wing, just in case KB managed to avoid the kick some how. The Halberd probably wouldn't survive such an assault, but the Necron Lord would, a bit worse for wear.

The fog around him began to solidify on his sharp edges, on his corners and his face. It was becoming something solid but also gas like, like a visible field of energy. It would only be a matter of a short time before the effects of this fog truly took place, but it was clear what ever was happening would be terrible.

Meanwhile the screams began to erupt as most of the spectators ran back into the Arena. Walking through every entrance were hundreds of identical Necron Warriors, all much like the Lord without the cape and large armor like shoulders and cape and other fan fare, they also carried large glowing green tubes which looked like guns.

The Necrons did not kill anyone, yet. It seemed they were waiting to see how there Lord would fair. All the while the Monolith hung hundreds of feet in the air, seemingly doing nothing but watching.

I've got you no-!!!

An iron boot struck the vampire in the back as he spun, his above average speed not enough to pull off any elven woo-woo tricks in the middle of a BRAWL. Falling forwards, he slid on his chest across the floor, his wing only having clipped the halberd as he was interrupted.

KB did a BARREL ROLL, his wing flashing overtop his body as he went. He made only one turn, the flat of his wing stopping his motion as it slammed into the marble floor. There, laying perpendicular to the Necron, KB lifted his free humanoid arm. His gloved hand aimed at the creature, his wrist twisting as he fired the one-shot weapon hidden within his sleeve. It was called an Ace, appropriately.

Ace L & R
These devices are worn on either forearm and are fired by specific arm movements. Each device is spring-loaded with a sharpened metal needle which is 6 inches long. The needles maintain lethality if properly aimed up to ten feet, with their ability to puncture drastically falling as this range is exceeded. Concealed, these one-shot weapons are primarily used to distract an enemy or damage sensitive organs like the eyes.

He fired his shot at the creature's face, aiming unerringly to take out one of the eyes. The relative speed of the shot assured that it would strike its target, that the only effective means of stopping it was a block. Not that KB was sure that taking out the eyes of this metal figure would cause much damage, but this was a diversionary tactic. Whether he hit or missed he would already be getting to his feet, using the brief moments afforded to him as the Necron blocked/was struck to find his footing and resume combat from a more favorable position.

"I need a ******** tank." He spat, feeling the shadow of the Monolith looming overhead. He'd never missed the sun so much in his entire unlife.

"Come flesh sack! Do not flee! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

The Necron Lord burst into horrifying laughter, making no motion to block, almost as if he did not see the needle at all.

The green fog suddenly flashed, the small needle seemingly striking the eye for a moment. It then warped horrifically, the once straight needle bent inward and then protruded hundreds of smaller needles all along its base and began to bend into itself and eventually looked more like a pretzel then a needle. It fell harmlessly to the floor.

Disruption Field
A field of energy which takes the form of fog escapes each joint and slowly coats each edge of the large Necron Lord. Claws on the hands, his entire outline, the edges all over his shoulder armor and on his feet, his emerald(literally made of emerald) eyes, they all become captured in this field. Any flesh or metal that touches this field is badly distorted. Metal will turn into itself, bend and shatter and grow spikes. Flesh will bubble, melt, bones will protrude randomly. The effect is never the same, but it always does this. Only the area which strikes is effected, such as the knuckles of a fist, etc etc.

The Lord meanwhile through all this stalked toward his opponent, holding the Halberd in his hand. The staff was nicked to about the center from the light hit, but it was still fully functional for a few more swings. Turning the point on KB as he was rising he thrust at him, by the time he got to his feet he would likely have the pointy part of a halberd about to be in his stomach.

He stepped into the strike with his right leg, the claws on the foot digging into the ground to give him purchase. If this struck it would likely go clean through and then the head would be like an arrow, making it harder to pull out. With control such as that, KB would have little place to go. He best pray he could escape, to whatever he God he so saw fit.
