Gaëlle did love her visits to the border. Oh she was certainly a good girl. But...there was something about the border that was calming, relaxing. Especially after her father had gotten on her AGAIN about being unmated. It wasn't her fault she'd yet to find a male that caught her eye! And her Daddy-dearest refused to force an arranged marriage on her. For all his stodgy old-fashioned-ness, she did love him for that.
Gaëlle was a traditional girl, mostly...but she wanted a mate that she was in love with, or good friends with at the least. She refused to end up with someone that she hated. She wanted something like what her parents had...solid and secure and full of affection.
The purple and blue lioness sighed and curled up on a warm rock just above the grasses.

He wasn't too certain just how far his 'little' walk had taken him this day, but Don had started this journey at morning's first light and still his desire to simply walk had not been saited. He got like this sometimes, having no one place to tie him down and every inch of the world at the edge of his claws- all it really took was a strong desire to see as much as he cared to see. With nothing holding him back, Don just did as he pleased for as long as he wanted to do so. Flicking an ear in mild distaste to the sun beating down his back, the male couldn't help but wish for a nice shady spot right about now. A lone tree would be enough to sate him, maybe even the broad side of a rock. This in mind, Don'Zaraasir swept his gaze across the horizon in front of him, searching for such refuge, and was nearly about to smile at the sight of a nicely size rock- until he noticed the lioness that lay atop it. That could very well prove to be a bit of a kink.
Nevertheless, Don continued his approach in an ambling, slow walk, his large body swaying with which ever paw he pushed forward. He idlely bobbed his head toward the lioness to show he registered her presence, but showed nothing else in the way of his demeanor. "Would you mind some brief company?" he asked evenly, stopping in his approach to await an answer, but offering no further explanation.

The lioness was surprised by the arrival of another, a rogue lion. Well...she WAS on the border. Rogues weren't unheard of. Well...best she be nice and polite! He didn't seem dangerous. Gaëlle smiled at him and shook her head.
"No, I would not mind." She scoot over, so the other could have room. It was a nice large rock, after all.
