Fav. Food: Anything that can be made or microwaved in under five minutes that is quick to eat and usually plain. Breads, Most Raw Vegetables and Fruits, Fast Food of the burger variety, though his burgers tend to only have cheese on it.

Hated Food: By default, anything that takes longer than five minutes for him to make. But out of the quick-to-eat foods, he can't stand asparagus, sushi, or candy. Chips are okay, Candy...not so much.

School: Hillworth Grammar School, previously attended Meadowview High School.
Reason for Expulsion: Adrian was known for doing...pretty stupid things. He was put under warnings for rollerblading indoors, and once on a free period he attempted to go down a staircase on a rolling chair on the suggestion of a friend. He had several little warnings against him for reckless behaviour, but he was finally suspended when he lit a bunsen burner during science class, and let the gas fume for a while before lighting a flint nearby. The mini explosion that followed set fire to his desk (luckily he was the only one using it), and singed a bit of his hair and uniform. His expulsion came later, when he forgot the end date of his suspension and was caught 'trespassing' on school grounds. He was transferred to Hillworth, and now lives in the dorms.

Hobbies:

Kick Boxing: It is an extremely high energy sport and does force him to push his physical limitations, and really the only sport he actively and routinely takes part in. Adrian's Father is the reason behind this, of course. He spotted early on that his son was...rather easily distracted when it came to interests and schedules, and when Adrian approached him about this particular sport, he made him a deal. He could sign up for kickboxing, but if he misses a Kick boxing session, he will be put under house arrest for two days, except if a kickboxing session occurs on one of two said days. Adrian has been attending these classes since he was thirteen.

Indoor Rock Climbing: Rock Climbing was a randomly acquired hobby that he actually picked up from his Uncle Cray. While Cray was babysitting a ten year old Adrian, he took him along to an Indoor Climbing facility, and ever since the pair go at least once a week. They have competitions, and so far Adrian has only been able to win against his agile Uncle only a handful of times. He really wishes to go Rock Climbing for real one day...

Rollerblading: Adrian was first given a pair of roller skates in Grade Five. His class was going to a Valentine's Day Roller Skating 'Dance', and he didn't want to rent a pair. By Grade Seven, he had them switched out for a pair of roller blades, and they have since become his favourite method of transportation. He currently possesses a well worn pair that look like This.

Swing Dancing: It hasn't yet become an established 'hobby', but he does seem to be going to these classes more often than not. He found an add for introductory classes in a newspaper, and has been attending once a week on average. If he had a constant partner to force him to go more often, he just might!

Virtues:

Adventurous: Adrian has a love for doing really outlandish things. He is incredibly brave and will face almost every challenge that comes his way. If it seems interesting, anyway. For example, he'd take rollerblading down a hand rail before eating food off of the ground. Speaking of rollerblading, one of his short term goals is to do this (alternate shot: here!). When it comes to being around other people, he will definitely do his best to have them join him in his wayward adventures. While an activity could be fun when done by himself, having someone else to share the memory is also preferred.

Cheerful: By default, Adrian is expressive and in good spirits. He is generally high on life, and in the past his friends have metaphorically fed off of his energy to try and keep up with him. Unless he is tired, he treats nearly every person to a cheerful smile. Certainly, this trait of his could aid him in getting a friend or acquaintance to go along with him on his adventures, should one arise.

Sincere: Adrian is quite incapable of pulling off a convincing lie. He will never directly promise something unless he has every single intention of keeping it. He would flat out say 'I promise' to the true promises he makes. Everything else gets different wording like 'I'll try my best' or 'See you later'. Unless you know him or notice that he does this, it may be hard to judge if he's truly making his promise to definitely be there, or if he's promising to just try and be there. If for whatever reason he manages to miss out on something he said he would do, well...he really does feel bad about it when confronted as to why he wasn't there. He really didn't mean to flake, and he'll really try to not do it again.

Flaws:

Impatient: Adrian absolutely detests waiting. His usual limit with anything is five minutes; if he has to wait more than five minutes on his own in silence, he'll either go elsewhere, attempt to find something interesting to pass the time with, or leave all together. If there is someone else with him that he considers interesting or a friend, his limit usually gets pushed to ten minutes before alternate actions need to be taken. When in school, Adrian is just short of incredibly distracted. If given the chance he will stand up and move around, and if not, he taps his heel against the floor, his pen against his paper, and generally fidgets. If he takes notes, they are usually half-assed unless the topic interests him. When it comes to dying his hair, he only does it when his niece, Hera, is over. Since he can play with her while the dye sets.

Reckless: There is a thin line between Adventurous and Reckless, and Adrian has crossed it several times before. His Bravery often gets him into trouble, whether it's with his Parents, the Law, or Personally. He has walked away from such reckless times with Hospital stays, several broken bones, and countless bruises and cuts.

Unreliable: While Adrian never intends on breaking a commitment, he is the type who will be on their way to meet someone, but spot something interesting along the way and wander off to do that. Then he loses track of time, and after a while realizes...Oh s**t, he's late (or missed it entirely!). He has been late to outings, stood up his friends, flaked out on competitions, and unless there is someone else there to pull him along or to lure him into dedicating himself to a particular task, his team work generally suffers.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Electric Blue, a little on the wider side though they are usually slightly arched to accompany a grin, or closed all together.

Hair: Naturally blonde but dyed pumpkin orange, layered starting near his ears, the longest pieces of hair reaching his shoulders. His hair looks wind blown or at least constantly messy, and usually wears a pair of Aviation Goggles on his head like a headband.

Face: Heart-shaped and slender, smaller ears, usually with his MP3 ear buds in them.

Clothes: Either something like This or This. His shoes are skateboard shoes, and are either flat black or checkered.

Other:

Fears: Being bed ridden (though he only worries about this AFTER it could have happened), Completely losing his Mother,
Long-term Goals: Adrian...doesn't have long term goals just yet. He hasn't found anything he wants to give his life to.
Talents: Outside of his hobbies, Adrian is double jointed in all of his fingers and both of his wrists.

Broken Bones: While he has never had an open compound fracture, he has had several closed fractures. Fingers (left: middle, index; right: index, middle, ring), Left distal radius (wrist), right clavicle (collarbone), left shin (bumper fracture), both feet at separate times (both lisfranc fractures, at the top of the foot). While Adrian can't remember which fracture happened in what order, or which accident caused which fracture, he sure can tell you he had run right up until getting them.

Electronics are Dull: Adrian does not watch TV, nor play video games. He finds it boring and it keeps him idle for too long, during time that could be better spent doing something else. The only exception is when he goes to an arcade - then he plays the interactive games, like Dance Dance Revolution, or racing games. If he is forced to go to the movies, it had better be a horror or action movie! He has yet to meet anyone that will make him sit still long enough to watch any other type of movie.

Outside Only: If given the chance, Adrian does as much as he can outside, including his homework. He would prefer to go his homework sitting out in the yard or on a ledge than stay inside at a desk. Rain and Winter weather drive him crazy when it comes to homework, since it's not easy to do your homework in this type of weather.

On Getting Sick: When sick, Adrian tends to pretend that he is not. He will still do his best to keep doing his daily life, even to the point of fainting. When he does decide to stay in bed, it means his cold is particularly bad and he spends the days sleeping.

Crashing Mentally: Due to the high energy life he tends to favor, once Adrian gets tired, he is out for the count. His personality crashes, the world becomes the enemy, and he'll do everything he can to just get back home and go to bed. Even if that means taking the bus home, or - gasp! - calling his Father to pick him up.

Pets: While Adrian isn't quite responsible enough to take care of pets, the Grey family does have them. Prior to Adrian's birth, Riley was forced to adopt a black cat named Stella, and a Ball Python named Emmet. Stella ended up running away when Adrian was about seven, and Emmet is still with the family. Riley takes care of Emmet, though Emmet's tank is in Adrian's Room.

Family Ties:

Riley Grey (Father, 47, Living) - Riley is a quiet, withdrawn and serious man. In his younger years, Riley was an Undercover cop, a workaholic who focused onto his job and put everything he had into it. That was, of course, until he met Crescentia. Crescentia was put under his care when a serial killer was on the loose, and she fit the profile. This sort of job was not something Riley had ever done before, and his Boss had merely told him it was a 'special circumstance' that he was assigned to take care of the woman. One thing lead to another, and the two fell in an awkward sort of love. They barely saw each other, and they certainly had a very open relationship, but they were still very much in love. It changed his life and softened his edges, and following a car accident just before his thirtieth birthday that nearly cost him his life, Riley was forced to retire early. Crescentia became pregnant with Adrian shortly after Riley's recovery, and then disappeared just after Adrian was born. Riley is...decent at Fatherhood, and whenever Crescentia would come back to the home, she would make up for his shortcomings when it came to being a Parent. After that? He was on his own. Once he was able, he took on odd jobs and kept up with his pension to provide for his Family. Currently, Riley works part time at a Funeral Home.

He doesn't show it often, but he does love Adrian. He gave the boy a very long leash and that seemed to work best for the both of them. Despite his shortcomings, he believes Adrian to be a good kid...but even the good kids need a bit of reality smacked into them. Following the constant suspensions and eventual expulsion from Meadowview, he opted to put his son in Hillworth, to teach him a very important lesson.

Here's to hoping he learns it.

Crescentia Belvidere (Mother, 39, Living) - Adrian's flighty Mother. Ever since his birth, she has never been a constant in his life. She would come home for a few months at a time, and once she started to feel 'closed in', she would leave again. Riley always let her; he always understood her need to keep moving...but Adrian always mildly resented her for it. Sure he loves her because she is his Mother, but at the same time, he hates her for never staying with them. The letters and pictures (and money, though Adrian doesn't quite know this part, Riley put it into savings for him) she sent to keep them updated just weren't enough to fill that void. When he was old enough to stay outside more often, he saw even less of her. No doubt this part of his personality came from her, but Crescentia always jokingly blames Riley for Adrian's apparent need to put himself in danger. Currently, Crescentia is in Italy, apparently staying with her Family, people that Riley nor Adrian have ever met.

Cray Weis (Uncle, 30, living) - Born William Cray Weis, Cray and Riley are only half brothers. Their Father was quite promiscuous, and had Cray with a woman named Emily Weis, who owned a Gym for the soul purpose of Teaching Gymnastics. Cray was raised separate from Riley, and spent a lot of his time in his Mother's Gym, prompting him to become somewhat of a contortionist. Personality-wise, he is Riley's opposite; Loud, Energetic, and a bit of a lech. But hey, being a lech is what made him meet his Wife! Neither Riley nor Cray had any inkling of a sibling until they met when Cray was ten, and Cray does his best to annoy Riley stay in the Family. When his Mother passed away, she left Cray the Gym, which he currently runs his Gymnast Wife, Juno, and their Daughter, Hera.

Hera Weis (Niece, 7, Living) - While Adrian isn't too close to Juno (and not through anyone's fault, he just barely gets to see her), he absolutely loves his little niece. She's the sibling he never had, and whenever she visits with her Father, Adrian always jumps on the chance to play with her. She likes to be spun in circles, tossed into the air and to run around like a maniac - her energy matches his, and that is exactly what he likes about her. Besides, she's freakin' adorable!

Ethan Grey (Paternal Grandfather, Deceased) - Riley tried his best to keep his Father in the dark about Crescentia and Adrian, not out of worry for his Family, but out of hatred. Countless times, Adrian tried to ask about him, but the inquiries were always brushed off. Rumour has it that Ethan was part of some underground crime ring...but another rumour has him as a dedicated Undercover Cop? Riley refused to answer as to which was true, and Adrian never had the chance to ask the man himself; he passed away when Adrian was eleven.

Chelsey Grey (nee Hill) (Paternal Grandmother, Deceased) - Riley's Mother, and Ethan's first wife. She passed when Riley was twelve, after years of hardships involving Ethan's promiscuity. A caring and sweet woman, she loved Riley with all of her heart, but in the end, the stress was the root cause of her demise. To this day, Riley blames his Father for killing her.

I'm not good with crits but I just wanted to say that I liked Adrian!! I also liked the face that you kept to his senshi name when you listed his hobbies, virtures, and flaws.
Good luck with him hope to see him come alive in the shop.

Hello! I hope you don't mind me jumping in to offer a few suggestions or make a point or two! I don't have much in the way of crit (Adrian seems like a pretty well-rounded character, and I'm still pretty new at all this), except perhaps for you to expand more on his cheerfulness. Maybe add in a little bit about how he feels toward other people. Or with his recklessness and adventurousness: does he ever inadvertently (or even purposefully) draw others into the same situations?

And that's... pretty much all I can think of at the moment. XD; If I come up with anything else, I'll be sure to add another comment.

But I like the pumpkin colored hair. And the swing dancing. 3nodding

Since this raffle spot is for the civilian only, I think you need to keep just the civilian information on this thread -- you can make the senshi quest separate, and note that the civilian form already exists / has been accepted.
