Ayame laid her stuff down on the floor looking at the barren room, its single bed and its pillows, the dresser, the study desk and the large window from which the light streamed in effervescently, making the room come alive with a dazzling blend of shadows and light. Ayame sighed, putting a bandanna on her head and getting to work.

First off, she unzipped her bag and took out the stuff she needed to fully personalize her new room. She placed a steampunk toy robot on the study desk right next to the lamp. On the wall that the desk leaned on, she put up a Steampunk clockwork-themed poster that wrote: "Keep Dreaming". Also, she placed a chocolate-colored cushion on the chair.
Then, she took out a small radio and placed it on the table next to her bed along with a bronze steampunk-themed alarm clock, a picture frame of her and her parents and a steampunk girl figurine wearing a shortened up to the knee, brown Victorian dress complete with goggles and boots.
Like the girl scout she is, she came prepared. She draped the large open window with a dark chocolate/bronze-colored curtain that shined like silk. It looked classy but it wasn't really worth much. Though, when you close it, it completely shuts out all light.
After loading the shoe rack with her shoes and the dresser with her clothes, Ayame lay down on the bed, exhausted but content. When she had enough rest she shot out the door, intent on making friends.

Ayame looked to her companion, smiling. "It isn't much but... It's homey to me" She said as she smiled casually, remembering all the steampunk accessories that were in the room.
