The wind ensemble just finished our last concert. We played Slava! by Leonard Bernstein, Turkey in the Straw, an insane 21-minute piece called La Fiesta Mexicana by H. Owen Reed, and Rolling Thunder as our senior feature. smile It was fun.
We haven't gotten our marching band music yet but it is rumored to be Stevie Wonder-themed. *shrug* I liked this past year's Wizard of Oz show better, I think...
But now we're just doing graduation ensemble stuff. We're playing the usual processional and recessional along with an arrangement of West Side Story music and Ballet Parisian (I think that's how you spell it? It has the can-can in it biggrin )
