[ 1 ] How would you describe yourself in a few sentences?

Well, I'm more than a bit of a hellion. I can't stand for inequality or intolerance, and when I see it, I tend to get a bit . . . punchy. I'm 100% devoted to my family - those who are still in the country and those who aren't - and I'm a pretty savvy girl when it comes to thinks like book learnin', even though I don't go to school any more.

Madeira cake, hands down. Especially when it's fresh.


[ 3 ] What do you do when you're bored?

I really don't have time to be bored. Between running Mama's cafe in town, taking care of my niece, Abigail, and making sure Mama's doctors aren't over-medicating her for their own convenience (and don't even get me started on when my best friend skips school and I have to spend five hours driving her back to the city her school is located in) I really don't have any spare time at all.

But in the obscenely rare moment when Mama's asleep in her house, Abby-Dabby's asleep in her crib, Posy Place isn't on the verge of bankruptcy, and Jenny's safely tucked away in her own dorm room, I write letters to my brother, Matt, who's away fightin' the good fight in the Middle East.

O.o; I missed the "add three questions of your own" bit. I don't have another character I wanna answer these for, but I'll go ahead and add onto what Succulent's done.

Hmm. I think a lot of my characters would develop more with this game. I've been trying to do this on my own, but I can never come up with tons of questions to interview them with. Lol. I'll use Raelynn Waldgrave from the first book of the series that I'm writing on.

Q1: How would you describe yourself in a few sentences?

A: Er, I'm not sure which part to talk about for that question. I love to travel and out of my sisters, I'm the only one who time travels. My sisters are very important to me, if that helps, and I'm the eldest. I've seen way too many wars when I travel, so I try to avoid them. I'll watch to see the outcome because my baby sister is a history buff.


Q2: What's your favorite food?

A: It would have to be my great-great-aunt Cassandra's pickled potatoes with roasted mustard-pork! I've tried making it, but somehow it comes out looking wonky on the pickled potato part.


Q3: What do you do when you're bored?

A: I clean, of course! Have you seen how dirty our place is? Castles are much harder to keep up than ordinary houses. And don't bring magic into it! My ruddy non-magic shoes are better sweepers than the ol' broom we've got chained to our wall! Everything in our home wants to do things on its own instead of its job! They've tried going on protest for fair payment, but what in the world--in any world--are you supposed to pay a scrub brush with? You answer me that and I'll bloody tell you the answer I gave the scrub brush: we don't have anything to pay it with, so have a cup of tea, shut your howling screamer, and go on with your job!


Q4: What's your favorite color?

A: A pale yellow. It's horrid on most things, but I think it would make a lovely dress for my baby sister Rhamira.


Q5: What do you want to do in the future?

A: ... What kind of question is that for a time traveler? 'Which future would you want for yourself' is a more appropriate question, I think. I'd want to be a wife. It's a very plain job, but it's the only one I'll be good at other than, y'know, time traveling.


Q6: Do you believe in unicorns?

A: Naturally. You can't believe in magic if you don't believe in unicorns. They are one example of a creature with a truly pure heart. I saw one once upon a time. I want to say it was in Grek, but it could have been Faiyen... -Spaces out.-


Q7: What is your deepest, darkest secret?

A: How can I trust you not to tell? Will revealing my secret be told to the government? [Interviewer says no sincerely.] Well, okay... I saw myself while I was time traveling once. I thought I'd gone loony, but when I saw me, I wasn't so sure what was going on. I think I managed to block most of it out because I can't remember what I was doing or where or when I was doing whatever it was.


Q8: Who was your first kiss? What was it like?

A: -Blushes.- I-I haven't had my first kiss yet, I'm afraid. I don't get out of the house much unless it's to go time traveling and by law, we're not allowed to talk to people in case it may change history.


Q9: Who was your least favorite teacher in elementary school?

A: Er, I was home-schooled by my grandparents in my early years.


Q10: What is your favorite kind of music?

A: Oh, that's quite simple: Celtic from Earth.


Q11: Do you have any pets?

A: Well... I'm not sure if you'd consider them pets because they're not really, but they do live with us and we have to feed them three times a day. We have a Leprechaun who thinks he's the demi-god of bad luck and a Brownie child.

A: What does that mean? Everyone knows that a person's will is the most powerful force in all universes. Gods and goddesses of every world can attest to this. If you don't believe me, ask them.

Mukuro: I hardly think that counts for a 'few sentences,' my dear skylark. As for myself, I guess that you could say that I'm not someone to be trusted.

Mukuro: *smirks* I may.

Mukuro: I don't particularly like spicy food... and I wouldn't mind some chocolate with a side of skylark~! <3

Hibari: ... hamburger.

Hibari: Napping.

Mukuro: Hm, black and purple.
Hibari: I don't have a preference.

Mukuro: Take over the world, of course. And I would like it if my little skylark would join me for the ride.
Hibari: *glares at Mukuro* I don't have any particular ambitions for the future; except to bite this weakling to death.

Mukuro: *grins*

Mukuro: I don't believe I have one; I'm a very honest person.

Hibari: ... stupid pineapple head.
Mukuro: What he's thinking was that I am actually an amazing kisser and that he enjoyed the experience immensely.

Mukuro: *grins* As for myself, I'm not sharing. Needless to say, my little skylark is much better.

Hibari: They were always pathetic.
Mukuro: I never attended elementary school.

Mukuro: I don't have a particular preference for any kind of music, but if pressed... I would have to say the lovely sounds that my little skylark makes when–

Painfully honest at times. Polite and inoffensive, but with a stubborn streak. Fastidious at times.

Read.

Red, or orange, or yellow...anything strong. Vibrant blues and greens are fine too. Southern colors, you know. Stuff to combat the mind-numbing dullness of the north.

Retire. Live long enough to quit the force and move south.

Why would I?

I don't know. Sometimes--usually--I hate my job?

Haha, you don't kiss a guy named Eve. (It was my cousin Angelica, when we were both seven, and it was on the cheek. I blushed.)

I honestly can't remember.

Southern. It's got a little more oomph.

Nope.

Yes. It's not sentient, but the Blue Star is infinitely more powerful than I.

Ohhhh. Beachside. Get some sunshine, maybe even tan a little. Nothing but me and my family and the peaceful calm of nature. No Star, no murders, no suicides, no having to read someone's last thoughts to see why or how they did something. Just me.

Truth. Every time.

15. How do you value your self-worth: body weight, willpower, etc.?
Well, I definitely value my sanity. Skullreaders usually do. Intelligence is also high up there.

16. Do you know how to cook?
I'm a bachelor. Of course I do. Nothing gourmet, though.

17. Have you ever been in a life threatening situation?
Usually. They aren't external threats so much as internal threats--you'd be surprised at how high the suicide rate among skullreaders is. (We leave notes, though, and sometimes tell people, so as to lessen the workload of our [ex]coworkers.)

18. Can you trust the people around you?
I trust everyone on the force--you don't get far not trusting your coworkers. Of course, there are levels of intimacy--the analysts, of course, and then the other cops, and then the dirty cops, and then Alan, that paranoid son of a b***h.

19. What is a pet peeve of yours?
When people don't take me seriously.

20. How would you describe your significant other?
I don't have one.

21. What's your occupation?
Necromancy analysis unit of the Macht Police Department. I'm a skullreader.

22. If you could have any one thing in the world, what would it be?(Wealth, power, love, etc.)
Any one thing...that's a good question. I think I'd like to have the free time to travel everywhere.

23. Why are you in the occupation you're in?
I could give you some touching story about how a loved one died in an unsolved crime and I swore to join the MPD and find out who did it, but that would be a lie. Truth is that I just decided I wanted to catch bad guys. I passed the psych evaluation when the analysis recruiters swung through and decided that this didn't sound so bad.
I wish they'd have told me about the kind of psychological and emotional drain this job puts you through. It really wears you down.

24. What do you look for in a man/woman?
I'm not really looking at the moment.

This is for one of my supporting characters, Quinn Jules.

1. How would you describe yourself in a few sentences?
I'm a miracle. And sarcastic, which explains why I just said that. Actually, there's a story behind why I say I'm a miracle baby, because it's the gods honest truth! But, anyway, I'm pretty much a spunky little nut with a brain full a knowledge and street smarts. I got the best of both worlds.

2. What's your favorite food?
Chocolate, not that it exists anywhere I can get it, which is a shame, let me tell you!

3. What do you do when you're bored?
When do I have time to get bored? I've been carrying my own business, plus full time school, since I was sixteen. But if I do get bored, usually I just attack my hair and it ends up a different length or color. I also like dancing.

4. What's your favorite color?
Red. Blue. Maybe orange. Yes, I like orange.

5. What do you want to do in the future?
I'm doing it now. I figure I'll work until I die, but I love my work. I'm a mechanic. I work with your basic daily machines, but I specialize in robotics. I build and fix synthetic body parts. I plan on doing this a long time.

6. Do you believe in unicorns?
Ha! This is my favorite question so far. Why can't all these questions be like this? I don't believe in unicorns, but I haven't seen anything that disproves them, either.

7. What is your deepest, darkest secret?
Remember that good story I mentioned earlier about me being a miracle baby? That has to do with my secret, my father. He's a politician that likes young, teenage girls. My mother was a pretty, young prostitute that serviced him a while. The whole thing was filmed, too, so when my mother realized she was preggo, despite birth control and a condom, she blackmailed my father into paying for my education. We both kept our traps shut about him, and he took care of me. It was a good arrangement.

8. Who was your first kiss? What was it like?
Oh, good lord. I was probably ten, it was probably one of the bold neighborhood boys, I probably made him blush. I don't remember, exactly.

9. Who was your least favorite teacher in elementary school?
I didn't particularly like any of them. Snotty bunch. They didn't understand why I was getting special treatment out of the slums.

10. What is your favorite kind of music?
Music with sound? I love music, all of it.

11. Do you have any pets?
I have a robot named Dilbert. Does that count?

12. Do you believe in a power greater than yourself?
Absolutely. I can't explain how else I got here, or how I had it easy through life. That was divine intervention, let me tell you.

Excuse me while I look up the word "vacation" in the dictionary...

Well! Look at that! If I could go on vacation, I would like to go to the moon. Might as well dream big, right?

Dare. And make it good. I don't want no pansy dare, like, licking a floor.

I value my education, for sure! I have an invaluable job skill that almost nobody else in Undercity has.

With a microwave. If I can't microwave it, it's not worth eating.

I'm sure my whole childhood was a life threatening situation. I grew up in the shitty part of the slums, and that's really saying something. I was the daughter of a prostitute, I lived next door to a drug lab, down the street from a gang house, and I knew at least a dozen pimps that wanted me to work for them.

18. Can you trust the people around you?
Maybe the people directly around me, but as I branch out further, I really can't trust them. That's fine, though. I know it's everyone for themselves in the world. I have my little circle of trust.

19. What is a pet peeve of yours?
Avoidable rust. If people would just take care of their crap in the first place, they wouldn't need a mechanic!

20. How would you describe your significant other?
Ungainly, awkward, and a little short circuited. Of course, I'm talking about Dilbert, the lovable robot I built myself who assists me. I haven't had a hubby in a while time.

21. What's your occupation?
I'm a mechanic, although that's a pretty broad term. I work with synthetic robotic body parts, as well as home appliances, and vehicles.

22. If you could have any one thing in the world, what would it be?(Wealth, power, love, etc.)
I know it's corny, my assistant Luc always tells me so, but I want to fall in love someday. I mean real, burning, consuming, fiery love. I've never experienced that before, but I'm not giving up hope. It exists, and I'll find it.

23. Why are you in the occupation you're in?
The people at school recognized a natural aptitude for building and fixing things, so they put me in a program with a focus on mechanical engineering and robotic engineering. I love it.

24. What do you look for in a man/woman?
Honesty, intelligence (not education, but god-given smarts), and a well developed wit.

25. Are you a lover or a fighter?
I'm a lover. Oh yes.

26. What's the kind of person you prefer to associate with?
People with good hearts. People who keep their words.

More than I should.

I dupe my assistant Luc every time we play cards. He still hasn't caught on! Ha!
