Welcome to my poetry thread. Enjoy your stay. Critique is welcome, but please don't be too insulting - I am young and I'm working on making my writing a lot better. ^_^;
Contents 1 :: Welcome 2 :: Philosiphies 3 :: Short Poems 4 :: Long Poems 5 :: Updates
Note: If you came to this thread to read pleasant and heart warming poetry, then I advise you leave. It would be extremely rare if you found a poem in this thread, that wasn't even slightly depressing. So I'm warning you now, my poetry does include a lot of blood, gore and depression. Thank you.
Note two: Poems are written in no specific order, though USUALLY - but not always - my favourite are placed near the top of each post.

Philosiphies Short phrases, mottos, smilies and metaphors I have written.
Life is like a messy book, each page I turn to gets messier and messier.
Friendship is like the ribbon at the end of a racetrack. And she's cut it. It's over.
Her wrist is crying maroon tears, but she knows that she got no more fears.
A toy once loved, then ripped, torn. Left out in the rain drunken, dead and never born.
Drowning in her misery, tears filling broken lungs.
Her life is a ship and it's sinking.
Life is like a routine, and I hate it when it breaks Life is like a routine, which makes it so damn out of place Life is like a routine, and I hate the way it is Life is not a routine, 'cause I am already dead.

Short Poetry Shorter pieces, mainly practice work.
Ready
Her nails are scraping down the wall She is an angel who's ready to fall Her heart's being stabbed with one thousand knives Into the plunge pool of death she arrives Her wrist is crying maroon tears But she knows that she got no more fears.
Enigmatic Bullies Contest entry for anti-bullying week at school. (One out of four first prizes)
Running through the darkness, From figures that aren't there. Enigmatic bullies who, Surround, me in dispair. I feel like i am falling down, Into a painful dreamland. They kick and punch and stab me, Rip my anti-bully band. When I get home I'm crying, "You're weak!" My mother screams. I tell myself she's lying, But it's the truth, it seems. Can't take it anymore, I want to take my life. But bullies did it for me, And released me from my strife.
More to come, and hopefully better. :/
