Upon the requests of the Grand Vizier, the Senate had Sherizada's temporary residence set up to mimic that of her old home back on Av-Na'aak. The trip to the Galactic Senate was paved in tears as she waved goodbye to the home she had come to serve and love. However, the remodeling of the apartment was not so far a stretch that the Senate would turn down the changes.

The entrance to her apartment is lined with an exotic plant that grows only on their planet, which glows vibrantly during the twilight hours and looks similar to Earth's Ivy. A collection of paintings and theatre lights dull the light and set the mood for complete meditation and concentration. The center of the room sits a large cylindrical fish tank that could only be filled with creatures that lived on this planet. But water and any kind of swimming creature would have sufficed for Sherizada. Around that tank is soft throw pillows and a small table lined with incense and candles for burning, a plethora of old texts from her home world, and of course an array of crystals ranging from Green Energy to Amethyst.

The kitchen has been closed off for she does not entirely eat food that is prepared as she is a vegetarian by law. The ceiling of all the rooms is a pale blue color and appears like the night sky filled with stars. It allows her body to understand the time difference with the long nights and short days. The bedroom is lined with vortex fountains and a padded blanket laid flat upon the ground where Sherizada will slumber. Beds of any kind are actually quite uncomfortable for her kind and they mostly sleep sitting up. The other bedrooms however, upon request, have beds in them on the off chance others needed a place to stay.

To top off the feeling of her home world, Spirit Fish, (The Earth equivalent of Jelly fish) float seemingly lifeless in the air around the apartment. Just under ten have made it this far across the galaxy when a hundred had been ordered. They pose no threat and do not harm upon touch but are a sign of good luck and Sherizada's favorite part of her home world. A gala of other plants from her home world line the walls and around the furniture all of them glowing brightly when there is no longer sun in the sky. She will be very surprised once she lays eyes upon this place.

"I don't like it when they are staring..." The woman's voice was soft, spoken with dignity and in her native tongue as eloquently as if it was she that wrote it. Abdullah, the Grand Vizier of the people of Av-Na'aak, whose head was that of gray owl with extended eyebrows; turned his attention back towards the Senators whose stares were heavy enough for even him to feel upon his back. Without even the slightest bit of effort, her turned his head all the way around, as all of his kind could do, and blinked wildly at them. His expression was asking them respectfully what was so important that they would continue to rudely stare at the pair, they got the message and hurried on their way.

"You must excuse them. Humans. They know no different."
Abdullah rang in this his deep whiskey sounding voice. Aged far beyond Sherizada's own years, having been with the royal family for the last two hundred years. He was the eldest living Avi that they had carved a statue of his likeness in the town square. For he was not a priest, to live that long was simply a miracle. His walking stick, clenched into the fist of his great clawed hand hit the ground with every ragged step that he took, though he felt fit as a whistle, his movements reflected his age, though Sherizada would never be rude as to point that out.

Instead, she kept her concealed eyes forward upon the ground. Her feet were covered underneath the dark folds of her ebony coat that swayed back and forth as often as she did. Her entire face was shaded in a dark veil, not quite the chosen garb of her people, and was not entirely welcoming if one were to lay eyes upon her. Sherizada knew that it would be her duty to leave and join the Galactic Senate. It was necessary, she told herself over and over again. However, ever since landing her eyes were glossed over, glistening waterfalls that stained her cheeks as they seemed to pour endlessly down from. "Thank you your Grace. I can say that your partnership has made this trip tolerable. However." Sherizada began, stopping mid step, raising her head just slightly to watch a pair of senators with deep blue skin pass her. She watched them, the same they had been doing to her. Her multicolored eyes glittered at their appearance. They were beautiful, such lovely figures and shapes, the likes of which were not common on her planet. The women giggled lightly and continued on down the hall.

"It is defiantly different from our world." Abdullah noted, opening his arm wide to allow his Priestess to continue beside him. With a heavy sigh, now that the women had disappeared completely from sight, Sherizada followed like a lost puppy. It was the two of them, had been this entire time. Most Grand Viziers never even so much as GLANCED at the Spiritual Leader once the initial training was over, but Sherizada had appointed him not only the Vizier of the Royal Family, but that of her as well. Fives years in complete solitude and all that she wanted was a friend. Abdullah's presence and wisdom made her position like flying, it seemed to come natural with him around.

They had reached the front door to their temporary residence. Abdullah had kept the design of the homestead a secret from his Lady for a long while, even before they were escorted from their planet to this one. "You sure you are feeling well today?" He asked, unlocking the door and opening it only slightly.

"I feel fine. Just. Homesick. Once I begin my work here, I will be able to think of something else." Sherizada reached up to her hood and unveiled her face and head. Her long braided hair slinked out from under the robe and hit the ground. The jewelery in her braids glistened in the light, the bright colors were a strong contrast to the raven colored robes she was covering herself in.

"You are new to the Senate?"
Another humanoid walked by the bird like woman, the bottom half of her face still hidden behind a veil that connected to itself behind her neck. Macaw colored irises rest upon the steely looking man, with a strange smile, his hand outstretched. Sherizada looked down at his extended limb and then back up to his smiling gaze. What was he doing? What did showing his hand have to do with greeting someone for the first time? Whatever the reason, she was intrigued, to say the least. Abdullah looked at her Highness and shrugged, he hardly understood the gesture himself. The two of them in unison presented their hands, clawed and birdlike, and then back to their sides.

The human looked at them and shook it off, he understood what was happening, out of towners weren't expected to know every custom, even if they just arrived. "I am a translator. I know most species in the Senate, but I must say you are the most... exotic. Well. That is sort of an understatement. Well, anyways, it was nice to meet you, Miss, hope to talk to you. Maybe learn your language?" The human creature bowed, and wandered off in a grand hurry.

Abdullah watched him leave, not able to put a word in edge wise. "That was, quite interesting. Anyways, lets see your new residence. Maybe these Senators can get a thing or two right, hmm?" He thrust open the door and allowed Sherizada to step in her first, her eyes immediately widening at the sight. The Spirit Fish, sometimes referred to as Specters, were floating about the blue ceilings and fish bowl that sat smack dab in the middle of the room. "Oh Your Grace, it is just like home!" Her excited voice rang through the apartment bringing life into the room. Everything was perfect, just like being back at the temple, the fish tank acting like the Green Energy Crystal that was preserved there.

"I pulled a few strings. I figured this would make the separation process a lot easier. Now. I have done something for you, now, you must do something for me." The Grand Vizier slowly lowered himself to a chair, his walking stick still gripped in his tightly balled fist. His feathers, attached to his strong arms, hung almost all the way towards the ground. He was quite a lovely older creature, in terms of his likeness to the Howlets, the group of people that were most often the Royal Family.

"And what would that be?"
Sherizada had her clawed hands palms down on the fish bowl, staring at the fish swimming around and around their tank; her expression like that of a child in a candy store.

"About your safety..."

"Ugh. I hate that discussion. I haven't been on this planet for more than a DAY. And I am just a Senator. Who is going to try their hand at eliminating someone like me? I have no enemies. You are just paranoid."

"Sherizada." Abdullah did not use her first name unless dire need, it was almost painful for him to use it, it was like a father scolding his own child. Her head turned at the sound, cringing ever so slightly at the nose. Her hands lowered, her elven like ears lowering slightly, to show her sympathy for disagreeing with him.

"Fine. I know nothing of this world. It was you who made all the arrangements. I would advise you do the same if you want the job done." Sherizada nodded her head, holding her hands out for a Spirit Fish which landed quietly in her midst.

It wasn't too odd a sight for Cassus to be walking the halls or quarters of the Senate, in fact there were a vast number of past jobs that had brought him through these parts. Things as simple as checking incoming items for anything odd all the way up to searching the building for hidden bombs, as much as he had been here over the past year he figured he might have had his own quarters by now. Cassus liked the serenity that usually flowed through this place, Senators did nothing but shout and argue all day so naturally all they wanted in their living spaces was general quiet and luxury. Especially luxury. Cassus would gladly do a job for free if he could see one of these over paid debaters down a glass of Flameout.

Cassus was a sight to see, his armor wore many scuffs and scratches. He never had it repaired unless it was actually hazardous to the inner portions of the suit. Naturally he looked like he just walked out of a warzone at all times, the fact that he fully armed didn't help that much either. Double checking his gear he slapped the side of his helmet and the AI finally awoke, "What is it you would like me to do? I was having the most wonderful dream."

"Firstly you are an A.I. you can't dream. Secondly are you running those scans?" If Cassus sounded annoyed it was most likely because he couldn't kill the owner of that voice. The A.I. referred to himself as Doba, he had a smart mouth and an annoying personality but he was a top of the line analyst.

"Yeah, I've had them running through the slave drive. If your not seeing any info on the left port than there isn't anything to be said. Well wait no I lied, the Slave drive was picking up info but it was in such vast numbers that it decided it had to be a malfunction." Doba sounded confused as he read off the incoming signal, but he also knew that none of the systems were malfunctioning. He had performed the diagnostic himself.

"What is he picking up?" Cassus completely stopped in the hallway, if he had already walked into something he wasn't about to go further. He would ignit his war head and run out a side wall if necessary.

"Listening devices." Doba said confounded, Cassus began walking again as if nothing had ever happened and chuckled underneath his helmet.

"Don't worry Doba, that's normal. Senators are always trying to get something on their fellow members so they can turn the votes around. If there were no recording devices in a room in this building I would be alarmed. It would mean our government no longer cares to try and stab each other in the back." Cassus had a very strange outlook on life, everything was corrupt and no one did anything without their being a personal motive behind it. This thinking had not only kept him alive over the years, but allowed him to get a leg up on many of his opponents.

Cassus bumped into a man on his way out and eyed him rather oddly, nothing was conveyed to the man excepted a tilted helmet and the dark sheen of the impenetrable visor staring down at him. "My apologies I was in a hurry, I'm a translator for the senate and I'm late to a meeting." Cassus bowed his head and let him leave without a second glance. As soon as the man had exited the hall Cassus spoke to Doba, "Run a scan on him, I swiped a scan of his identichip for you."

"As you wish, but why? A translator is a common profession around here. There like weeds almost."

"While that is correct check your chronometer. Senate adjurned nearly two hours ago. On top of that all four senators in this wing and most of their aids speak basic. This is the last place a translator should be, especially if the wookie's are starting to get hungry."

"You were right as always master. It says here he is employed to the senate but his shift should have been over an hour ago. Our underground records here say that his name has been mentioned before in unison with a few of the Xenophobe organizations. If it was possible to make the situation worse he owes a Hutt a small fortune, it would be wise to keep an eye on him for the very reasons you are already thinking. " Redundant as always Doba.

About to knock on the door Cassus heard voices and then a singular line...

It was you who made all the arrangements. I would advise you do the same if you want the job done."

That was the worst line to throw out at someone, ever more terrible is the line that they always come back with. I have. It's like they think themselves so smart they have to rub their smug attitude directly in your face. Cassus could tell he might try to shoot this guy already. He wouldn't violate the contract either, he was only hired to protect the girl so with all due respect he could keep this girl safe and collect the large sum of money he had put forward. Then just wait for this guy to piss off the wrong customer and collect the bounty as well. Now that would be a job for the books. No he wouldn't do that unless the man insulted Mandalore, then it would only be right. To insult the high lord himself wasn't that bad a thing, but he wasn't here to defend himself against the slander so it was Cassus' job as a warrior of mandalore and child of his general to defend his honor. Three steady thumps were all Cassus used for a knock, it said power and that was exactly what he was.

The Spirit Fish danced weightless in her hands, its tendrils User Imagesliding in between her fingers and around her wrists without barely tightening its grip. It recognized her design. Could feel the pumping of her heart as it forced blood into her system. It could even sense the Green Energy that flowed through her body, that kept her alive, even from all the way out here. A great distance from her home planet and people, where the Green Energy originated. It lingered there in her open palms for a few more playful instances and rejoined its populace at the sound of their call; like that of a small whale. Sherizada's colorful eyes reflected the creature's ascent toward its friends and joined them near the ceiling where their florescent bodies glittered in the starry light.

Abdullah was silent. That was always a bad sign no matter whom you were, silence was the worst gesture in the Av-Na'aak world. Sherizada turned to the great master and eyed him patiently, dropping her robe to her outstretched arms and onto the back of one of the chairs that lined the room. Her cotton like dress clung to her body like a lost child tied up only by the grace of a few silk ribbons, like something out of a Greek painting. His head was bowed, staring at the ground as if it was the first he had seen in many years traveling through space. What could he possibly have been thinking? That perhaps her safety was not a primary concern, for they indeed just arrived? Or perhaps his fears and elder age were getting the better of him? Either way, both were probable but highly unlikely. Abdullah was a man of few words except when needed, and often wore his thoughts upon his face to the point that others need not ask what he was feeling. This time however, his face was still as a black lagoon. Quiet and full of empty emotion that Sherizada could not defer if he was melancholy or entirely angry.

"It was my responsibility to accompany you not only as the second Senator for our planet, but to protect you as well. These old bones do not allow for fast movements I am afraid." The old Owl patted his knees lightly and sat his walking stick beside him, leaning further into the chair to rest his aching back. "Where I will fail to protect, I am certain who I hired, will not."

"You HIRED someone to watch over me?" Sherizada nearly shouted, the elder Avi turned his head in questioning, perplexed at her sudden uprising, having forgotten her teachings about how she was to speak to him entirely. How could he blame her? This woman had to serve as the beacon of hope for her people whether she wanted too or not, and was not about to serve upon the council. That too was set in stone even before she had brought up the idea over a hundred years ago. Sherizada glared at her present company, flustered, she turned her attention towards the fish tank and watched them swim around in a great circle in the safety of their home. How simple their lives were, meaninglessly swimming about with only one direction and no escape. This is where her love for fish came from, they were just like her. Following a single purpose, colorful and pretty to look at. But beyond that, it was just a meager existence. Don't get her wrong, being a High Priestess was a blessing she never would denounce, however, it had its own way of being a prison as well. "Why can none of you have faith in the power of people?"

"Your Priesthood has blinded you to the real world my Lady. This is no longer Av-Na'aak. Where everyone has lived in peace for thousands of years. There have been assassinations. You need to have a bodyguard. If not for you, for your people." Abdullah cleared his throat as Sherizada returned her attention to him, sighing heavily. There was truth to his words, she could not deny that her safety was crucial to her people. If not dire. Being followed around by yet another body guard seemed like living at home all over again. Though she was missing it terribly, she had hoped to be rid of the old customs of never having privacy. But of course, wishful thinking was never forthright nor becoming of anyone.

"As you wish si-" A knocking at the door was enough to make Sherizada jump nearly out of her skin, her voice was quiet however, turning to the door instantly; a clawed hand placed at her heart the other at her mouth. "Goodness..." She whispered, shooting a glance to Abdullah and then back at the door, her companion motioned that she should open. What was that talk for, the stuff concerning her safety? "As you wish again, old man." Sherizada crossed the threshold and opened the door, coming face to face with what she had no idea was the bodyguard hired to watch over her. "Can.. can I help you?" The bird like female managed, swallowing her breath hard at the presence of this new being. He was covered in weird clothing. It looked like some kind of metal. Or maybe it wasn't, however it was beaten pretty badly looking as though he had just fallen down an elevator shaft and survived and strolled on up. Sherizada's wings fluttered behind her, barely visible since she had been practicing keeping them from view.

Cassus entered and walked right past her without a second glance his visor ran a double sweep on the room as he entered. His visor picked up two pulses in the room, both small mounted recording devices. First Cassus stopped in front of the Fish tank, it was stunning if you liked the aquatic beauty. Sitting in the bed was a small pearl that was giving off the faint pulse, it was most likely some type of resonace recorder made to pick up the vibrations made by voices and reconstruct them on a computer somewhere else. Pulling a flat disk from his helmet he placed it on the glass and it began to blink with a red tone.

The second place Cassus went to was a painting by the side wall, it was in the same fashion as the rest but there was something about it that made you forget it once you glanced over it. Activating the magnifier he found a microprocesser actually entombed in the paint. Something this small couldn't broad cast more than a couple hundred feet so that meant one of her fellow delegates or her very partner here who was hiring him. Either way it didn't matter, without giving anyone a reason to think he did anything to the painting he activated a scambler and dropped it as he turned back around. They would be speaking nothing but gibberish for that line.

"Hello. As you may have realized my name is Cassus Marr, security specialist. From the information I have been given it says here that your planet has newly joined the republic. That means you will be facing spies, assassins, activists, racists, xenophobes, and if you piss off the right people even Sith. My specialty is making sure you never lose a feather. I am overbearing, overcautious, and overzealous. That means I will annoy you, stress you, and grind away each and every one of your tolerance nerves, but I will keep you alive.

I boast a very profound record with nearly zero failures, I can not protect you from natural disaster, freak accidents, or planetary destructions. My only three failures are from those three areas, if my charges had heeded my word than they would still be alive as well. You need not fear that I will interrupt any of your duties. During your work days I will not interfere or disturb you, I will stand in the corner and await your tasks completion. If for any reason I do require to get involved I will do so as silently as possible. Please do not be alarmed if I shoot someone, I will only do that as a last regard. If for any reason all hell is to break loose you will follow my every order as if I was the only being in existence. You my call me anything you so wish. You can not hurt my feelings, you can not dishonor me, and you can not make me flinch. I have literally seen everything. As a premptive warning though comments about Mandalore or our Military can earn you a good socking, Mandalorians do not distinguish a difference between men and women, we treat everyone equally. Do you have any questions?"

Doba was running on overdrive during this exchange. His entire purpose was devoted to noting as many facts about Av-Na'aak, physical flaws, pheromone secretions, scans deducing, magnetic fields and chemical analysis. He stopped and focused much of his attention on the energy source attached to her forehead. Then moved back to the rest of her features.

Cassus was doing a more individual scan of his own, he was reading their body language. Both of them were uncomfortable so they were trying to make themselves rigid, unfortunately that brought even more attention to what they were covering. Neither of them boasted too many scars or physical marks of war, it was easy to see they were inexperienced. Even the older gentleman with the wizened eyes boasted not much of a physical presence. The girl was independant and strong willed but far too cocky, she pushed. That was easy to see. She was going to be a handful, and that might be an understatement if she made some serious enemies.

Blinking, Sherizada stared into the hallway where the figure had once been standing. Nothing was happening in the User Imagespace beyond, not even the world seemed to be moving in the instance he had stepped passed her. Sherizada never turned to follow him with her gaze, instead stepped into the light shimmering into the hallway. Her hand shielded her eyes from the blinding lights, never had she witnessed such grand sunshine. Though it was only the rays reflecting off of the tall buildings, Sherizada's home planet was not as radiant. Her head turned, her large collection of hair following close behind you, weighing as light as a feather. People had stopped, staring lightly at her exotic appearance. Perhaps they too saw the bodyguard enter the room, even after her short time on this planet. What kind of message did that send to them? Sherizada could only think of one thing, and that was she was snobby and did not trust anyone without having first met them. Her Macaw colored eyes stared at them as long as they were, only for them to feel uncomfortable and scatter away to their own devices.

Slowly, Sherizada returned to the room, still staring blankly into the hallway, the door closing the instant she was safely inside. The bird like woman turned and watched the fully suited figure with little interest. It was more like disinterested nervousness. Nothing he was doing was remotely interesting to her, it looked mundane, tasks he did more often than not, but the fact he was doing them, caught her attention. She was almost certain the words, 'please come in,' never left her throat, nor were they words she imagined herself even speaking. However, he was inside whether either of the Avi liked it or not. This must have been part of the Galactic Senate initiation, come in, make sure they were not doing something illegal, and then leave. Maybe even read her a list of rules and participation objectives, either way, it required a little patience, he seemed rather busy at the moment. Sherizada cast her gaze to the Grand Vizier who still sat in his chair, unmoved, shrugging only at the fact he had no idea what the figure was doing. He seemed comfortable in his presence where Sherizada had been terrified. Maybe that was a stretch, but she was certainly not going to say that this person's presence unnerved her.

There was a great deal of silence in the room as he worked, whatever it was he was doing. Sherizada leaned on her heels to peek around his shoulder and returned once he moved from the fish tank to the painting on the wall. "Are you goi--" The woman began, but stopped when the figure turned and began to speak wildly, it seemed. Security specialist? Sherizada turned towards Abdullah with a stern look on her face, asking him solely on the basis of her perturbed expression. He outstretched his arm towards, Cassus, is what man had called himself, as if presenting a gift to her. This was the worst gift imaginable, and Sherizada only stomached the rest of this conversation for her people's sake. "That is correct." Sherizada added at the mention of her planet's arrival into the Galactic Senate. Her faced paled at the mention of assassins and the like. Some of those things meant nothing to her for she knew not of their existences, such as whatever the heck the Sith were. "There is nothing wrong with.. Oh." The multicolored female narrowed her eyes at the bodyguard, not to be rude but to find eyes behind that visor of his. However, it was not happening. So this was going to be the person guarding her life while she was here? Overcautious was not as bad, overbearing might put a damper on things and overzealous. Well, there were worst things in the universe to be. Was he.... warning her ahead of time about himself? That seemed like misery waiting to happen, but she stood still, her hands clutched to one another just in her upright lap. Her eyes never left his form, trying to be as respectful and ladylike as possible. The more and more he described himself the more and more it seemed as though death wouldn't be an end but a blissful release. Of all the bodyguards on the face of this planet, why this one? What was so fetching about him that Abdullah would hire him? To protect the High Priestess? It seemed as though the old man was losing his touch, or she was being judgmental too quickly. Sherizada had yet to see him in action, for to her, words meant nothing. They could easily be tossed around, but when push came to shove, one had to be able to prove those words.

A perfect record, aside from the obvious forces of nature he himself could not control, he had a near perfect record. That meant that some where along the lines, he had to pull his targets from the danger zone. Meaning that it was true, there were people out there willing to go the extra mile to end another person's existence. Murder was something people read about in books on her planet, but no one had actually committed a murder before. At least, not intentionally, and for a short while she felt safe even with Cassus being her for the short time he had been standing in her presence. "Well that is probable. You are not a God." Sherizada added towards his record and lowered her head to the ground. Thank God for that, Cassus would have been a very narcissistic God, if he had his way. The bodyguard went over the list of requirements and stipulations, Sherizada only noting them briefly for she did not think herself important enough to even need a bodyguard in the first place. She was a creature that had yet to be seen before on another world, with little to no experience with the outside world, when was the last time someone wanted to put a hit on a no body? Abdullah sighed heavily at the High Priestess and her looks of anger gracing the folds of her lips, hidden behind her dark face veil. "I... I am sorry. But I am afraid I am not sure of what a, 'Mandalore,' even is, there will be no reason to be giving me a good... 'socking.'" Sherizada nearly spat the word out as though she never wanted to speak it again. "Could you excuse me for a moment Sir? Thank you." Sherizada took hold of Abdullah's arm just as he stood to his feet and seemingly effortlessly drug him to the bedroom far beyond earshot of Cassus, and closed the door; without completely shutting it.

"What is that?" She asked, sternly.

"Your bodyguard." He responded.

"No. A bodyguard, is quiet. Reserved. Strong in his own guise. That. That is you and the Royal families' way of punishing me for trying to do something forward for our people. Maybe you don't see eye to eye on the way I rule, but remember it was I that was chosen by Na'aak. Not you. Just. Just don't come out, stay here and pray." Sherizada closed the door behind her as she exited. Her feet hitting the floor with an angered passion, and then stared at Cassus. "Yes I do have a question, please remove your helmet." Her voice was powerfully strong for a woman as young as she, her hands folded over one another in her lap. She rounded a chair and continued to lightly circle around Cassus, inspecting him. Why did he wear that outfit? Was it some kind of military uniform? Was he a decorated war hero? He did mention that she not make fun of what she assumed was his race and their military. "You seem to be sure of yourself, and I understand your rules. Now. I have a few myself." Clearing her throat, the bird woman ran her finger over the vortex fountain, the cold water was soothing. She always had a thing for water, which was strange considering she had more in common with birds, in that she technically was one. "If you have something to say during the time I am not working in the Senate, you will say it. Please do not go to my Superior if you have something to complain about, that is cowardice at its worst. I will deal with your complaints respectfully. If I am in prayer, trust me, whatever it is you need to say can wait. It is vital to my people that I do so. I expect you to devote at least one of your nights to dinner in our company, as a goodwill mission and Avi law. And please, if you would, refrain from the threats of... hitting me. That is not only unnecessary but entirely inappropriate. Thank you."

"Mandalore is a people, a person, and a planet. All three are something that hold much honor and as such I do not tolerate any form of slander onto them. A socking is a slang term used mostly by ruffians, it is just another way to say punch." The calm quick explanations slipped in perfectly. This girl seriously was new, he had never heard of a people who didn't know what the Mandolorians were. Well, maybe he would give her a reason to remember his people.

As she left he received a good scan of her wings, and her backside. A small smirk crossed his lips as she tromped away. As the data came up Doba confirmed that they weren't just for show, they were in real working order. Now that was an interesting thing to see, not to many species could actually outright fly.

Then she returned her first question was for him to remove his helmet, why did everyone always want to see a mandolorian's face? Was there no greater mystery in this universe? "No can do. It is attached at the neck to the chest piece and besides Doba would get lonely if he couldn't talk to me." Cassus showed were the interlocking areas were, he refrained from explaining you could pop the under locks and release the seal. She circled around him like any good winged predator, eyes open taking in facts that she could as she decided what course to take.

Then she spoke and this was a much more pleasing woman, confident, strong willed, and above all else determined. She had something she wanted and she was going to get it. Her first thing was about freedom of speech, just say what was on his mind? Well that would go badly if he did so he was going to exploit that as little as possible. Secondly was not to deal with the old man, well it was the senate who was mostly putting up the credits for this job. He could do that no problem. Don't disturb her prayers, great. He was guarding another individual who sits there talking to the clouds and expecting them to do something for her. Dinner? Goodwill? If it wasn't for the part about being the law of her people he would have immediately declined, but for the reasons of keeping his charge slightly happy he could comply. Tapping a few buttons on his left gauntlet an image appeared on the small screen.

"I would like you to look at this here. This is a Class-A Dreadnought license, being new to these ares and new to this form of politics I'm going to assume you've never heard of it. This is basically a do whatever I want and get away with it license, as long as you are kept safe. I got this because you are much more important than you think.

Once you get to know what a cut throat place this is you will understand why you got someone like me. Your planet is on the outer rim, that means it is secluded, but that also means it's within jumping distance to the edge of the galaxy and to the Unknown territories. The Republic has been looking for easier ways to bring relations up with the Chiss for years but they hardly leave their territory. Everyone here will try and either use you, manipulate you, or confuse you of the matters at hand. The only thing they want to keep certain is that you are breathing every morning.

As for your prayers I would never dream of getting involved in those, except for if all hell breaks loose. As for the meal I can attend since I will be here anyway, but as I'm always on duty so I will not have much to say at any time. The Mandalore warning is customary, I tell it to all my charges. We are the most distinguished warriors in this galaxy and as such we get respect from those who we have faced, but those who only hear of our battles assume that we are barbarians who only like to fight. I will also tell you one thing else, I can see it in the scrutiny that you will not understand until it starts happening. This is not a nice place. Only the heartless survive, that's why they bring me in."

He wasn't going to remove his helmet. The sound of Sherizada's tongue hitting the roof of her mouth echoed off theUser Image walls, a sign that she was annoyed. Her feet shifted her stance back and forth ever so slightly, her hair following suit. Why was it so important to keep his helmet on? What did he take her for, and imbecile? What kind of soldier would make it so difficult to remove a piece of his armor; what happened if it was of dire need to remove it? It certainly would put a damper on existence if he had to die because of horrible design work to this suit he was wearing. Sherizada had to admit that she was interested in knowing what a Mandalore looked like, if they were close to human like she had been. Or something else all together. Maybe he was so dreadfully painful to look at and he was sparing her the horrors that lay within. Even that seemed farfetched, in that he was so in love with his skill it would hardly seem appropriate that the Mandolarians look hideous beyond redemption, not to mention one giant irony. "You have two options, sir, and they are either remove your helmet so I can recognize your face, or carry this with you." Sherizada retrieved a shard of her home planet's Green Energy, a single shard was enough to keep a personal ship running at all times without stopping for fuel. However, this shard was to be able to point him out in a crowd. Sherizada had a natural sensing of her crystals, and if he was around, then she would know immediately. "If it is INDEED as dangerous as you and my superior say it is, then what is stopping these people, who are already going to great lengths to murder me, from dressing like you and manipulating me into whatever they desire? It seems foolish for you not to show your face for that particular reason. But those are your choices. At least with this in your possession, I will know it is you at all times. Unless you have a better option?"

The bird woman turned, running her hand along the back of one of the leather seats. Such an unnecessary luxury. Leather seats, hardly anyone took care of their backside, what use did this serve other than looking nice in the room? If that was the case, why not just create a painting of it and hang it on the wall? This world was as strange to her as she was to the others that were already in it. Cassus was a part of this absurd culture. Extremes, murder, unyielding politics that sought only for personal gain, rather than the betterment of the universe. What had she gotten herself into? Next thing she knew she would have to sit in a bar and drink herself into slumber only to blend in. "Wait. Doba?" She asked suddenly. Sherizada shot Cassus a strange look, raising her left eyebrow quizzically. Was he referring to his helmet as an actual sentient being? Or, was he just, off the deep end and all of this was a huge mistake. The bird woman had this, relentless, foreboding sense of demise and it was not at the hand of the enemy but the one person whom was suppose to protect her. Talking to people in his helmet. "Nevermind. Some things should just be left to the imagination..." Admittedly, Sherizada had to hand it to Cassus, for he was the more colorful people of this world, to put it kindly. Her mind wandered through what their dinner meetings would be like. Every time she ended up cringing at her own mental images or closing her eyes in embarrassment. What did they have to talk about? A decorated person of war and conflict, and a fledgling politician from a planet completely cut off from the rest of the universe? It would have made for excellent live entertainment, that was for sure.

What was he thinking? The silence between their speeches was unnerving to her, yet he remained calmed and justified. Sherizada was jealous of his quiet, yet boastful repose. He had no fear, no qualms, no anything of that nature which forced his personality into a corner, and he had a great deal more to fear than she. While yes, more were trying to end her life, it was his job to ensure that never happened, and therefor had to monitor her life as well as his own. Sherizada retorted her previous thoughts about how he was possibly borderline crazy, that seemed to be an inappropriate thought having come this far in their meeting. Then he spoke again, fiddling with something on his arm, which caused Sherizada's pupils to dilate almost to the outer ridge of her irises. If anything, Cassus had some of the most interesting things with him, Sherizada closed the gap between them and stared at the image therein. "Dreadnought...." Sherizada whispered, a term not used by her people that often, for it was a plague that had nearly wiped their species off the face of Av-Na'aak. It was a dark period, however, the Great Priest Te'ef, remained alive and with hope used Green Energy to cleanse the planet. It worked, but still, the plague was not something they spoke of in polite conversation. This was entirely different however, it was a license, to do as he pleased, without the consequences. That seemed like danger and abuse waiting to happen. "I would hope that your employers don't hand these out to everyone. And that you are just a special case?" Sherizada lifted her colored eyes to Cassus's visor, where she assumed his gaze was hidden behind, and then back down at the machine in his arm. The young woman put a finger through the hologram, interested that it was corporeal and transparent, she smiled. Looking back at her bodyguard, Sherizada cleared her throat and took a few steps away from him, biting her lower lip at the fact her innocence of the world must have appeared as weakness.

"You do not have to speak, Cassus, you merely have to sit at the table, or, standing against the wall. Wherever you please, however, it just has to be nearest the table. I will not be so strict as I am with my own people. I will not subject you to my religious ways, but you are welcomed to ask if you wish to know something. I will not convert you either. However, as you have a, warning, as do I. Refrain from remarks about my people and their religious background. To do so will be like slapping me in the face. So here is not a nice place, I understand that, now that we have an understanding of one another, sort of. I am Sherizada Avi-Na'aak, High Priestess of Av-Na'aak, keeper of the Green Energy source. I thank you for your.. services." Sherizada paused. "I must ask of you one more thing. Now that I am here... what am I suppose to be doing right now?"

"Options? Not quite. I could be rude and obtrusive and make you run through thousands of extra security procedures and do everything I could to agitate you while your in my charge. What you should know is that this is my face, we Mandalorians follow six tenants. They consist of wearing armor, speaking the Mandalorian language, defending oneself along with one's family, contributing to the welfare of your clan, rallying to the Mand'alor when summoned, and raising one's children in the Mandalorian ways. As such our armor is as unique to our individual personalities." Cassus spoke softly not trying to sound astounded that she didn't know a thing about Mandalorians. Cassus gestured to the varying marks and symbols on his armor. "My clan name is here on my shoulder, this is my unit here on the other, Distinguished Leadership here on my helm, Survivor of the Gauntlet here on my left leg, and Honor of a Fett here on my right leg. Even the color of my armor as you see here is specifically designated for a purpose."

"No one would dare try to replicate my armor, if they did they would face a person so terrifying that I would actually decline any job that pitted me against him. That energy source could also jeopardize the possibility of me sneaking up on any force wielding opponent. Have you ever dealt with a jedi or sith?" His explanations were quick and to the point, but they also were necessities. If she wasn't happy he might loose the bonus they promised him if he kept her happy and content as well. That might be difficult seeing the limited understanding she had of all the proceedings around the senate.

"Doba is in the only partner I've had who has survived long enough to be of use, he is an artificial intelligence that runs all the simultaneous scanning or analysis of my surroundings. It was him who found the two listening devices in these quarters." Doba would have introduced himself if he had a projection device. Cassus also cut him off to immediately explain the next point. "Your right, I've only received this on three separate instances. It means someone has something they want from you and they don't want you dieing before they can get it in writing. It is probably something along the lines of an outpost or a trade route, or maybe something to do with your little energy crystals. Either way they are going to make a huge profit, and they are probably counting on your inexperience to add to the ability of their manipulation. If you wish I can bring up the info on the senators who would probably be involved."

Cassus performed a curt bow as she spoke and answered each statement. She was trying to put on a braver persona then she actually carried, trying to show that she was not to be messed with. Cassus liked it. It was born from the ignorance of what a Mandolorian was capable of, but at the same time it was refreshing for someone not to be begging for their life if they bumped into you incorrectly. "Personally I have quite a few guesses, depending on if you logged your flight or not you might be about to receive an invite to a small welcoming party. If that translator from the hallway was an informant you might be receiving a visit from one of the serious counselors or one of the crime heads with a deal for you. Or in all the same lilklihood one of the more compassionate counselors could have voiced that you need the evening to rest, although I would highly doubt that considering the.....luxurious nature of most of the counselors. The only reason one would want you to rest is so that you lower your guard."

Moving across the room to a small device on the wall he activated it and a large holoscreen appeared. Moving his hand across the screen he brought up several smaller boxes with hordes of writing scribbled. Throwing some stuff to the side he brought four separate letters up and turned, "There is a small party being held to 'celebrate' the arrival of a few systems into the senate. Unfortunately the other systems aren't going to arrive until three days from now. In actuality this is most likely a plan to overwhelm you with names and acquaintances. It might be smart to attend and see who it is specifically trying to get to know you. The other two are from a senator and a business owner requesting a private audience."

User ImageMacaw colored eyes widened at the idea of being put through that kind of procedure. Of course, she did allow a bunch of Peaot Scientists and Doctors surgically implant the crystals on her forehead into her skull without so much as a numbing reagent, what was listening to a seemingly murderous seminar about stuff that concerned her well being, but not her actual personage? Sherizada lowered the green crystal in her hand to her side, and stared down at the floor. She had hoped her words were not taken as insults, since her nose and face were intact and there was no pain to be felt, it was safe to assume that she had not. This was going to prove to be difficult, this whole, different species of bodyguard. The bird woman needed to take in his essence, study his colors, his designs, his body structure, if she desired to spot him in a crowd in case of emergencies. Mandalorian language? What did that sound like? Sherizada knew nothing of them, what they looked like, how they developed in life, let alone what they sounded, that could be easily changed however. Sherizada would ask at a later date what a few important Mandalorian terms were, and in turn share with him a few of the Avi terms that were important, including her code word. Back on Av-Na'aak, a code word was used for a bodyguard in hiding, if the word was spoken, he would then come to action and bring himself to light; it was a secret distress call. "You say that your people are prone to exuberant attitudes." Sherizada lightly flinched, just lightly, it was a good word choice, but threats should not always be taken as lightly as Sherizada was taking them. "What I mean is that you have a rather colorful people. You seem to be nothing like what you have warned me. The most interesting company I have kept in a long time. I think I will grow to like you, sir." Sherizada stepped away from the Dreadnaught card and stood at the fish tank once more, her hands tucked at her lower back.

Sherizada turned as he began talking again, she did not mean to leave during his speech, it was natural for her to be animated. She was used to talking to big groups, standing at attention and staring into a face she could not see was unnerving, to say the least; this was her security blanket. The colorful woman shook her wings every so slightly, taking in the images of each symbol as if her life depended on it. In the grand scheme of things, it may have well depended on it, for if she mistook someone else as her bodyguard, it would be the end of her, or so she was coming to understand. The Mandolorians were not as obtuse as her people were, far more abstract than anything. However, there were similarities that were making the memorization a great deal easier on her. "Fett? I am assuming that is a high rank? Or a family?" Sherizada asked, curious with a glitter of awe in her well rounded eyes. "Jedi and Sith?" Sherizada was almost certain that Cassus was prepared to laugh at that question. Though intellectual, and one of the most smartest minds on her planet, on this planet, she was feeling a bit... stupid. Nothing was making sense, and what did was far beyond her level of understanding she might as be a three year old. "Well, I am just glad for that then, that no one would reproduce your armor, I hope that one day you will grow to trust our.. working partnership and reveal your face. One day. No hurry." Sherizada had a long time to be here. Who knows how long Cassus would be with her, perhaps a day or two. Or even an hour or so. Whatever the time would be, she had hoped to look upon the face of this group of people that Cassus spoke so highly of. It was only in her nature to want to know and to understand.

Smiling, Sherizada turned back fully around, her hands till behind her back. Something she DID know. "Then be sure to thank your Doba for his hard work and devotion to your well being." AI's existed on her planet, only for the purpose of clinics. Of course, she did not know their exact usage, but knew that their vanity was sometimes extreme. The bird woman's expression went from calm and joyful, to curiosity and seriousness in a matter of moments. Had she really collected that many enemies in the span of a few hours of her being on this planet? Or perhaps before her arrival, during the time she had sent for application of admittance when she had made the decision to join the Galactic Senate. Either way, the Grand Vizier had made the right decision in hiring someone to guard her, if arriving was all it took to gather enemies, what would happen if she spoke? "You have that kind of information sir? And having it in my midst, what would it do for me? Help me to avoid it?" Sherizada began pacing slowly back and forth nearest the tank of aquatic life, one hand rested upon her hip the other placed strategically on her chin. There was something playing about in head, something devious that a High Priestess should never allow herself to even think for a second.

"Do you think word of my inexperience has been tossed around the Senate?" She asked, stopping just directly in front of him. "This may seem to be something like myself should not be formulating, but feigning innocence and inexperienced, is not always a bad thing...." Sherizada listened to Cassus, clinging to every word that escaped his lips. If she rested, she was lowering her guard. If she was paid a visit, they would know that she had a bodyguard and what her keep consisted off. Able to create a mental image of all things therein, which could prove fatal. If she went to the party, she could present herself as little inexperienced Sherizada from an unknown planet in a scarce region and spread the idea further she knows little of the Senate.

Cassus himself moved across the room, doing something particularly odd in terms of what she knew, her eyes dilating once again. "You have SUCH beautiful technology here. I will have to bring some back home to my people. They would be most amazed at what you have all accomplished out here." Sherizada stared into the plethora of scribblings and then back at her bodyguard. "Cassus, is there any way that you could, find out who is attending this welcoming party, and briefly entertain their histories to me? I will continue to carry on that I know nothing. It will work to our advantage. When others think the job of endangering me will be easy, they make mistakes. Which in turn, makes it easier for you. Something the Raots, people of my planet, warriors if you will, taught me." Sherizada smiled again, standing upright, her wings outstretched for but a moment, and then retracted. "I think I shall attend this party. If, you can get that information for me."

"That's because I'm not working right now, inside these quarters not one of the other senators would dare try to assassinate you. Your too close to there quarters, but the extremists might. They will need time to develop information and decide if you are worth an attack, and then formulate how to attack you." Cassus spoke calmly again not even phased by her remark, his hands flew across the controls conitnuing to pull up things and removing certain functions.

"Fett was a Mand'alor, a ruler of my people. He united quite a few of the clans during the Yuuzhan crisis, but his real glory came from his earlier days. He was the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy, his greatest asset was planning. He was a genius of the highest caliber, this mark of honor signifies the ability to walk into a situation that under all means of explanation and general knowledge you should die. Then walk out." This explanation was much easier, there was nothing that required his thinking or plotting, that particular mark of honor was well known to the warriors. Especially the young ones. Only something like 200 individuals had earned it since it was brought into existence.

"It would be easier to explain the Sith and Jedi if I just showed you." Cassus tapped a few buttons and then touched his gauntlet to the holoscreen and a video appeared. At first it was just a security cam feed from a large banquet hall, but then an over weight man in lavish clothing came running through. There was no audio on the video so as he crossed from view there was now way to tell if he was still in the room. Soon Cassus backed into the room his carbine shouldered and firing like crazy. When it ran out of ammo he threw it to the side and drew both of his blasters one of them started ringing off shots while he left the other one hanging limp. Finally another man entered with a glowing red blade and he was steadily advancing.

The first pistol fell from his hand and he raised the second one and fired a massive blast toward the man. He tried to deflect the blast and it blew the sword out of his hand. Taking the advantage Cassus charged forward and before he could strike the assailant raised his hand and Cassus began to float. With his other hand he made a motion and his blade returned to his hnad. Cassus moved about a bit and then swung out a kick, the camera was too far away to see the knife in his boot strike the guys arm. With a simple motion Cassus flew into the far wall with enough force to crack it, then into the ceiling, and finally he was slammed into the floor. Coming to stand over him the man made the same motion and crushed Cassus into the ground. Cassus didn't make a remark, but because of how tight the armor was his ribcage had nearly been crushed in. The man took his place over him and raised the blade to behead him but before he could strike Cassus ignited both his flame throwers point black into the man's chest and face.

"That is a sith, jedi are usually the good guys but they can be troublesome if they think they are in the right." Her question about the information actually made him chuckle a bit, "My job is to keep people safe so if you keep your ears open for illegal activity and listen for certain names you can come out on top. If you know what other people want as well it makes your job so much easier. Your inexperience is going to be counted on, the more prominent senators who just need a few extra votes to pass their regulations. They will promise you everything possible but you will only receive about 75% as much as they will. Senators are conniving, destructive, and above all else the most devious beings in the universe. Except they only use words."

Running his hands across the screen three pictures came up, one was a bothan, the other a human, and the third was a Quarren. There names cam up below their pictures and then a little more info about some of their stands and the major pushes in the senate. "The Quarren is a hard face, if he takes a stand he wont move. The Bothan is shifty, you always have to keep an eye on him. He is not one to deal with if you want to know what's going on, he'll shift everything around. The Human is a Hapan, honorable but not an idiot. He looks for schemes and if he can figure it out to the end he will call you out in front of as many people as possible. Unless he likes the end result and just wants to share in the results. They are three of the five man council that calls the senate to order and selects the ballots. These three will be the main ones, but there will be a horde of other senators and important people. It is in the conference hall. That will be on the roof of the main building. It is designed to function for every form of gathering, it has a garden around the edges of the room and several statues and pieces of art strung about the room." Cassus brought up a few pictures before turning to her. "If you wish I can escort you."

User Image"That's time I don't wish to give out freely, Sir. I give you full permission to make this as safe environment as possible." Sherizada cast her eyes towards the fish tank and the Spirit Fish making their slow approach towards her, they could feel the distress in her voice, and therefor were acting upon it. One had reached the back of her neck and nuzzled into it, her head turning back to the bodyguard her people had hired to protect her. "I don't like that they have time to do this. I expect that we come up with a counter measure to these.... people. I will not become a door mat for anyone to walk upon." This was not her level of expertise, but for some strange reason, with Cassus around, she was feeling more and more courageous as the time passed on. Maybe it wasn't just him as a person, perhaps it was because he wasn't bowing at her feet and making her out to be greater than she was at the moment. Here on Coruscant, she was just another senator from an unknown, uncharted planet. Not a High Priestess. Not a beach for hope. Nothing. Just a politician for the first time in her life, and that was about it. her bodyguard was leaving the sugar coating to the rest of the people that would talk to her later on. These were the hard facts, as they stood and all the gory details in between. Though they were frightening to think about, her mind playing out the image of her assassination like a private showing, but the more danger she had to hear of, the more her heart raced in anticipation. Was it possible that this kind of environment was exciting to her? Her whole life she had been sheltered, thrust into danger without a life vest, like a land dweller tossed to the sea; it was an amazing feeling.

"That sounds... fascinating. Perhaps you will share with me more at a later date. The warriors of my planet will be most eager for me to speak of such people. They will sing of your praises yet, Sir." Sherizada, though a bit uneasy about the whole situation, and yet unnerved by it, moved about the room, returning the Spirit Fish attached to the back of her neck towards the ceiling of the room. Her colorful eyes watched them scurry back to the corner to nest comfortably with one another before falling into slumber, something that Sherizada knew would not become her till way later into the twilight hours, for now, she was too incited by the new lifestyle she was being subjected too. "Showed me?" She asked politely, walking back towards the projector and staring at the screen as if it was the only thing her mind could focus on at the time. There was Cassus, shooting madly like a wild man, Sherizada glanced at the physical being in the room, and rolled her eyes under her own bangs. Back at the screen another figure stepped into the room, red blade and all. Something she had never seen before in her life. Her eyes widened in the memories of the old text. One of these creatures had made it to her home world so many ancient years ago. The scriptures wrote him as a fowl creature whom took many lives before finally falling to his death. He knew nothing of the landscape and therefor succumbed to it. Sherizada wanted to reach into the screen and kill the creature herself, but she refrained, for fear of looking like a complete imbecile. "Great Na'aak, have mercy." The High Priestess covered her eyes each time that Cassus was thrust to another obstruct, how brave and powerful this man really was, Sherizada did not know, however, she knew how powerful Cassus was. Again with the glances, only this one was different. Though he was perfectly fine now, standing, alive and breathing as though he may have been a young adult, who did not have to endure that kind of treatment. Sherizada felt a kind of sorrow for him. This was the life that he was expected to live? Even if he enjoyed such an existence, and that getting hurt only showed that you were strong once you walked away from it, it must be a lonely life. Always worried about someone else's life, instead of your own. The bird woman looked away, for fear of being assumed a serious nut job, her expressions were always getting the best of her.

The movie was over, and Sherizada continue to watch with eager eyes, however, the image of Cassus nearing death continued to haunt her, and it made her angry. Here's hoping that Sith creature got what had been waiting for him. As does all aspects of life when you choose to be evil in nature. Cassus did laugh at her, only slightly, it was something she had not heard him do since his arrival. Was he even capable of laughter? That was probably about as much as she was going to get out of him, so out of respect, she smiled along with him and continued to listen intently. "Then I guess I will make them believe they have the upper hand. I live on a planet untouched by pollution, war, famine and chaos. Green Energy is a source that can power entire star fleets. It is watched over and guarded by many powerful beings. There is nothing these senators could offer me that I do not already have." Sherizada added, matter of factly, still staring at the screen. "I was not told that the Galactic Senate was as such. I feel deceived. I was told of a group of people whose job it was the better the lives of the people in the universe. Perhaps I am still as innocent and naive as I had hoped I wasn't..." The Priestess lowered her head ever so slightly and bit her lower lip. She would need to learn to be stronger if she had any hopes of living in this kind of world. All and all, her first instincts were to despise Cassus, for he was everything that went against her beliefs. He was forward, outspoken, calculating, powerful, killed people as a position in life and a complete mystery, though she was sure that did not merit any warrant. However, be that as it may, with all that he was teaching her, she was thanking ever more and more the God that sent her here, for granting her Cassus, a blessing in a very, strange, deep and misunderstood disguise.

"Conference room? I suppose if I do not show up, that will display weakness, wont it? And if I do, I will have to endure overbearing people until I return home, am I correct?" Sherizada paced back and forth slightly. It was certainly a bad move to attend this gathering all on her lonesome. The Grand Vizier must attend to their prayers while she was setting in motion her first official visit as a Senator. "Yes, Cassus. It would be wise of me to have you escort me. How shall we be doing that? Will you be... dressed in this manner?"

"The room itself is pretty good, and the in place security officers make it dificult for the usual rabble. I'll have a couple sensors installed but other than that my main duties will be outside this building. If you wish to head out on the town, venture to the lower levels, or just shop. I know the many tourist attractions and monuments well, in the lower sectors I could show you to some more primal sports, and as for shopping there are entire districts where you can find everything in existence." Casus explained. He left the holoscreen to walk back across the room and analyze his own placed devices.

"They do work for the good. The good of their individual planets, and the more they accomplish the more they feel entitled. New senators hardly take bribes or royalties, but the more you accomplish and set write the wrongs the more you will generally think you are owed. It happens." This was unfortunately a common fact, it seemed to always happen. It starts with a few royalties and ends with taking full on bribes to avert the eyes for organizations.

"Yes, the conference room is nice. It is designed to allow the senators a place to talk up there many separate dealings in comfort and without fear of being over heard. You are correct on both accounts there, showing up will show your strength especially after your journey. But they won't relent until the end of the evening." He stopped to consider something and sat there for a brief moment. His thoughts were running rather quickly as he sat there and then he pulled a small device about the size of his thumb. Tapping it a couple times he returned to her and handed it off to her. "Your veil will hide it and it won't be picked up by the scanners, it is only short wave. Meaning I can tell you things I observe but you won't be able to speak back to me. Bodyguards aren't allowed to mingle, they have a special area for us."

Cassus began pulling out the various weapons one at a time and inspecting them, his main concern was making sure they were ready and locked. Doba ran the system diagnostics making sure everything was ready for even the most drastic situation. The only thing he could possibly want for this situation would be an HK droid and a lightsaber, with those he wouldn't have a problem with anything. Well that wouldn't actually be too hard to locate, but that would take a lot of the fun out of his work. "We can head straight up there from the main lobby. Yes. As I said, the armor is me. If you get to meet another Mandolorian you will notice the very same, the senators just carry there helmets when in congress."

User Image"Shopping?" Sherizada mused her thoughts with the idea. Shopping had been something on her planet not rarely done. They were a trading world, one good or service for another of greater or equal value. The world was lush with all natural resources a planet needed to survive, to purchase said resources like with money, would be like trying to bottle and sell air. Shopping on this world, seemed like something out of a flourished dream. All of the beautiful things that were possible on this planet that Sherizada's own had only imagined could be done. Perhaps sometime when her duties to the Senate had expired for the day, she would entertain the idea of shopping by attending these places that her bodyguard had mentioned. If she could manage, she would collect as many things as she could to bring back to her people and share with them the greatness of this planet and it's people. Her most favorite part of the conversation was the prospect of the monuments. Learning the planet's culture and history? This was her element. Of course, that struck another thought in her mind, something that at first seemed insulting to Cassus, but she asked anyways. "Hold on a minute. Did they hire you to be my bodyguard, or my babysitter?" Suggesting places to go and things to see, attending her meetings, but of course that was part of the whole ordeal, but everything else? Seemed to her to be like something he wasn't suppose to do on regular pay. Sherizada looked at her bodyguard with a slight glare in her colorful eyes. The exotic woman almost played with the idea anyone really cared to share her company. It was all jobs and payment to them. Abdullah had come here to watch her at the demand of the Royal Family, it was his job, and if he failed, he would suffer the consequences. His other job, was to keep that information between them, and keep Sherizada from finding out. Of course, she had known all along, she kept her part of it quiet and went along with everything. And now, she was certain Cassus was acting friendly because he was paid to do so. Fine. If that was the case, she would help him earn his pay... "Nevermind, that was so rude of me to ask. I think it is the traveling that has gotten to my head. I need to gather myself so I can do this meeting." She lied, sighing deeply and taking a seat to rest her tired legs.

A Senator was not what she had expected. In fact, the whole idea she had of them was so wrong, you would think she had never heard of what a Senator even was. It definitely wasn't what her people and her knew about them, that was for sure. They were like vipers. Dangerous creatures, snaking around in their dark holes, waiting for the right time to strike. Tricking people out of their good fortune and injecting their poisons into innocent flesh. Sherizada was ashamed to even be considered amongst their ranks. This was sort of a mistake, but as Na'aak as her witness, His servant would not befall the same path as the others. Wanting for nothing that they would provide with honey spoken words and broken promises. Smoke and mirrors. Everything. Sherizada knew what that appeared as, and would not be fooled so easily. Her home world had everything, what could they possibly have, other than her own life in the palm of their hands, that would make her give in to temptation. Besides, her bodyguard was nearby, he would not be stupid enough to let her become the vile, disgusting creature the rest of the Senators had transformed into. "I don't, and will not become them. I am better than that. Even if my life is threatened every day, I will not give in." Pausing, choosing her words carefully, she continued. " And if you and Abdullah allow me to become as such, I will not hesitate to hit you both with every once of strength I can muster." Such an empty threat from a woman who barely understood the art of war, the only thing that her bodyguard could do was laugh. It was a sorry excuse for a threat, to say the least, as she rose to her feet and stared at the door.

Turning, she took the small device from him and stared down at it in shock. He wasn't coming with her. Sherizada would be alone on this adventure. Starting something new, without the help of the Grand Vizier, and now Cassus was going to be off in some distant room, not at her side as she had intended for him to be. That set off a chain reaction through her entire body, a sickening feeling starting at the pit of her stomach and slowly inching it's way to her other regions. A clawed hand sat gently upon her abdomen, as if she was going to hurl all the information she had consumed back up and out of her body. However, Sherizada regained her composure and alighted the thought that this was her chance to prove that she was capable of standing alone on her own two feet. Placing the device behind her ear where she could hear Cassus' voice when he spoke to her, but not so that others could see it if they were to lean in towards her for some God awful reason. "Do all the Senators have bodyguards?" Amused that she had considered herself the only person whom would have hired such a character, of course a Senator's life would be important to them, hiring a bodyguard was a natural endeavor. Then why was she still shocked at the thought?

"Oh my. You have a lot of... guns." Her eyes scanned the movements he was making, interested as usual. Of course, this was not as interesting as the information and technology he had shown her, for they could not kill her. These on the other hand, were matters that did not concern her, and she uneasily took a step back. Weapons her not her cup of tea, but she was thankful with everything inside of her that Cassus had and knew how to use them. They would make the whole guardian and guarded deal a whole lot easier. "Yes. We should go. If I wait any longer, they will think me a weakness. And we cannot have that, now can we?" She asked, standing at the door like a child waiting to go outside and play.

"I take no offense, but for your information it is both. I am to both protect you and keep you properly entertained. As one of my employers put it, 'If I have to take you down to the lower sector fights and enter my self to win you some extra coins it is what I will do.' Nice guy. He was blunt and to the point, I actually liked him." Cassus remarked indifferently, she was smart at least. That would be much more helpful during situations where things got heated. He would rather deal with a smart idealist than a dumb capitalist. There were already too many of those running around.

He watched her contemplate the thought of what a senator was, she looked like she might be physically sick. It was hard to tell with the face shawl, but her eyes conveyed mixed emotions. This was kinda fun, trying to read someone with only there body language and there eyes. It was good training and a lot more mentally stimulating than with most of his charges. When she threatened to slap him he cocked his head to the side. Her form didn't specialize in power, and with those wings the necessary light mass required for flight wouldn't allow her much power for physical altercations. He wouldn't put it past her to be able to use those wings for extra speed though, and in a fight speed was as good as power.

"The important ones. There are generally the corporate planets, the mining planets, and the council. So around twenty to thirty at any one time. Monarch planets come with there own detachment of guards, usually for more of a show of force then anything else." This was a general observation made over a long series of events. "It's pretty necessary though. Fear the power of stupid people in large groups, it only takes one individual to lead a group and the rest will blindly follow. It will only take one man to call out your name before one group or another comes for you. Then that's when I and my many guns go to work. You need not fear though, you won't even be in the same room by the time they show up." Could it be called overconfidence if you were gifted with the ability to fight this kind of situation entirely? Cassus never feared the possibility of failure because he always calculated for each and every variable. Even the unknowns. Was it overconfidence or just good planning skills?

"Weak not necessarily, but they might think me incompetent if I couldn't guide you to the hall. So shall we adjourn?" Cassus opened the door first and looked out to make sure no one was in the hall. He then stepped out and waited for her. He would take his customary place at her left hand and slightly behind her. Droma was already running a thousand area scans a minute and he was prepared to calculate any disturbance.
