Custom Pets. 'Nuff Said. Okay, what I mean by custom pets is, not a new race, but a race within the NPC guide, with custom powers. New races can be submitted by PMing a guild Captain or VC. There is a special rule about RP samples here. It must be battle between you and the pet in the wild, and in the wild the pet demonstrates all of it's powers that don't make it kill itself. This battle should be at least 275-300 words. In the end, you capture the pet, and you can RP with it right away after approval. Format! Pet Name:

Pet Race: Manticore/Elemental (er.....you'll understand when you see its abilities)
RPC Name: Seigikan Tenshi

Element: .....all the elements.......
Abilites: Inuten has 5 tails, each holding one element: fire, water, wind, earth, and lightning. Swinging a tail, he can launch a minor barrage of that element at that opponent. Meaning while he can launch a fireball at you, he cannot create a lava tidal wave. He is capable of speech and often speaks to Seigikan intelligently, giving him wise tips and quotes. Inuten can also casts illusions on his opponent. While he performs the illusions, he must stay completely still and the user must be looking in his eyes, eye contact being necessary. All of Inuten's spells last only a second in real time. Inuten can control anything in this world, but cannot do anything to the opponent in any way. He cannot make them feel pain, cannot make them feel tired, cannot make them feel hungry. He can only control the five senses of the opponents, and again, only for a second in real time, though it may last as long as he wants in the opponent's mind. He is pretty quick, but his physical power is horrible, his strength being approximately 10. If an object touches any part of his head, he is instantly forced to sleep for a couple of hours or, if in battle, 10 posts. While in battle, he feeds off of Seigikan's magic, taking 1 magic and 1 endurance point per post he is kept fighting, though this does not apply out of battle. Inuten can only enter battle after 5 posts, for Seigikan needs to prepare. Can change size, but can only become smaller, not bigger, and not while in battle.
RP Sample: Seigikanjumped left as a lightning bolt came heading towards him. He could feel the electricity in the air as he heard the zip of the attack passing his head and disappearing, slowly being eaten by the vast space of the air around them. Damn. I need to get closer. Another bolt came heading towards him, this time, landing directly on his stomach. He was knocked back by the blow, small volts of electricity sparking all over his body, and leaving him clutching his stomach. However, he quickly got up and charged towards the creature. He was going to capture this creature, capture and tame it.
As Inuten swung its fire tail, a line of fire marking the creation of a fireball, Seigikan took this opportunity to cast one of his own spells. "Lightning Bolt!" A beam of light appeared in his hands, and was soon launched at the dog creature. Inuten instantly jumped up, the beam going under him, leaving him unscathed and chuckling at the speed of the attack. He then continued to fire his own attacks, a fireball here, a miniature tornado there. Seigikan couldn't help but sigh as he continued dodging the attacks thrown at him, his movements looking more and more that of a dancer randomly moving around with no intent other than to get out of the way from those attacks.
"You know, you won't get any closer if you keep staying on the defensive." Yes, Inuten could talk. It surprised the hell out of Seigikan too, its never ending list of abilities adding yet another skill. Seigikan was more determined to tame it now, determined to prove himself to the beast. However, he made the dire mistake at glaring into the beast's eyes, the soulless, yet lively eyes. They were pitch black, blacker than midnight, yet looking at them was similar to looking at the sun. The intensity, the blank expression. Seigikan felt warm, yet cold, afraid, yet confident. His emotions had not yet decided which path to take. Inuten began to expand, turn to goo, and split apart until finally creating a second version of himself. After s silent pause, those two creatures divided and split into two more versions. This went on for a few minutes, the numerous Inutens still glaring at Seigikan as if he were unsheltered prey who had just stumbled onto their territory. Before charging for an attack, Seigikan's sight had gone black, and suddenly returned to the regular world, the same Inuten, only one Inuten, glaring at him from a couple meters off.
"That was an illusion, young one. An illusion i cast on you." This angered Seigikan. Angered him because he knew Inuten was right. He knew that he had just fallen victim to Inuten's illusion spell and couldn't do anything about it. Seigikan slowly walked up to Inuten, who by now had brought down its defense, and sat. He sat cross legged, as if he were about to start meditating. The two stared at each other for a long time before Seigikan broke the silence.
"I'm going to capture you. Simple as that." Inuten laughed at the young boy before speaking up himself. "You may attempt to capture me, but you must find my weakness first. If you can find that, you will be able to...." Inuten never got to finish his sentence, for Seigikan had patted him on the head, his mouth nor formed in a grin. "You b*****d.....how did you know.....?" Inuten fell to the floor, his silent snoring causing Seigikan to grin even more. While it was a myth that touching Inuten's head was his weakness, Seigikan wasn't certain until now. Can't believe that worked......Now, what to do with him.

I question the purpose of this thread. There's already a system in the species area that details how to get a pet. Why can't we use that?

The purpose was to obtain a creature with custom skills, different from the skills of the regular creature, unless they were totally unacceptable. Mistah thought it was a good idea when I suggested it, so im going to keep it up for now.

Note: Since Shadowbeings just manipulate their shape, these are their preferred shapes. Otherwise they just slink along through shadows to avoid being seen.
Question: These all work in a very close team so can I just make a really big RP Sample that uses all of their abilities together? Because I have a way to capture them all at once and it'll be too hard to change what I wanted into four parts.

Element: Darkness/Light (If Allowed)
Abilites:
Shine Ball - Lucian will suddenly throw a ball of light that explodes and creates a blinding light. However, this is only an illusion. Just looking at the ball that is thrown puts an enemy into the illusion. Once trapped, the enemy's vision will be gone since their eyes are flooded with light. This lasts for 5 posts.
Chaos Wave - Lucian focuses energy and releases a powerful aura that being to sap the energy of anything it hits. The effects last for 15 posts. (All Stats -15)
Downfall - This is an illusion that is created by Lucian to completely disorient any attacker. It causes the afflicted target to think that they are in a world of pure darkness and they begin to fall. Then they feel intense pressure all over their body as if it is crushing them. This lasts for 10 posts.
Shade Blade and Shine Blade - Lucian creates two tangible beams of pure energy. One is Light Element and the other is Darkness Element.
RP Sample
Pet Name: Kaosu
Pet Race: Shadowbeing
RPC Name: Hisoka

Element: Darkness/Fire
Abilites:
Firebreathing - Kaosu uses the Element of Fire and can expel black flames from his mouth. The flames will follow a target, but can easily escaped. They can't turn fast so they will fly right past something and collide with another object if the object is close enough.
Meteor Storm - Kaosu throws his metal orb directly into the sky. It begins to shine and then it launches a barrage of metallic orbs the size of basketballs. They fall continually for 5 posts. After this technique is completed, Kaosu must wait for another 5 posts to use it again.
Tail Spear Trap - It seems pointless at first, but all Kaosu does is stab his tail into the ground. On the next post, Kaosu's tail shoots out of the ground by the enemy. But now there are three spear-like tendrils that are attacking. These are the three hooks on Kaosu's tail. If caught, Kaosu will pull you underground and drag you over to him. This will batter an enemy very badly and possibly break bones. After he/she reaches Kaosu, he will be plucked from the ground and then Kaosu will begin an onslaught of attacks or absorb him/her.
RP Sample
Pet Name: Apocolypse

Abilites:
Golem Form - Since Apocolypse is practically useless on his own, he requires a massive body to use in battle. He rises up from the ground suddenly and a massive, spiked ball comes up from below him. It is approximately 50ft tall and 50ft wide. Not only is it massive, it has claws on it that are attached to chains and can reach out a total of 100ft. The whole Golem Form is made of a shadow material that is like titanium, but stronger. It cannot be melted nor can it be broken.
Earth Rupture - During Golem Form, Apocolypse will rise into air about 100ft and just drop. Upon landing, the earth below will begin to shater and shake. This will create a destroyed battlefield and cause severe area damage. This is not meant to harm the enemy as much as the terrain.
RP Sample
Pet Name: Zeed
Pet Race: Shadowbeing
RPC Name: Hisoka
Image: The two-headed thing
Element: Darkness
Abilites:
Dark Portal (Transport) - Zeed has the power to send things through portals of Darkness and cause them reappear in another portal of Darkness elsewhere. This technique allows him to send send anything or anyone wherever he wants.
Dark Portal (Strike) - Zeed opens up a portal and then jumps through behind his enemies and either grabs them to pull them through or will attack them right there.
Poison Claw/Bite - If Zeed slashes you with his claws or if he catches you in his jaws, you will be instantly filled with a toxin that drains your energy. It gets worse with each strike. Only goes away if you receive no additional poison for 5 continual posts. (All Stats -2 per hit)

Before I start on the RP Sample, can someone answer my question? I'd like to know if I can just make one bigass RP Sample that works for all of my pets since they fight in a group and work together. I can't really seperate each Pet's Sample from this. I also have a way to just capture them all at once.

Every one of those is an elite/epic level monster on it's own, and you want them as personal pets? That is beyond excessive...

Well I'm not gonna do too much fighting at all. They're gonna be my bodyguards. As a Business Tycoon, I need protection that doesn't involve much of my input. 3nodding

I also don't know how to make weak things. I literally do NOT have the ability to make things that are weak. I go for super friggen insanely strong every time.

I know! Weak things are HARD!
If these are for body guards, you're not really in the right place to apply for them. (Although technically we have no right place.) I'd say PM Mistah and see what he thinks of giving you extra RPCs to do this with instead of "Pets".
I don't think shadowbeings technically count as a "Pet species", despite the fact we don't have limiters on that either.
Hm... I think... I need to look at a few things.

Well won't I just be making super noobish RPCs then? Still, that's a great idea instead of this. Didn't think of it, but the point of this is so that I had captured them by proving I was stronger than them all. And that I'd have those powers and crap. Though, I could apply for them in customs.

Well, the simple answer to that is to write up a fancy bio!
But yeah, they'd most likely be restricted by the stat rules. PM Mistah when he's back and see what he thinks on it. I don't think they'd really count as pets myself.

Well they were just supposed to travel in my shadow until I called on them for protection or just for the hell of getting experience through making extra words to include them in my posts.
And I can just PM him and he'll answer soon-ish. He uses a PSP to do stuff right now and I've been PMing him for a bit now even though he's gone.
