xxxxxxxxMonday mornings are always Emily's luckiest day of the week. One time, she was rewarded one hundred dollars for returning a lost wallet, and Monday was also the day that she met her bestfriend, Tina. Today, a new boy, Luke Eigggenman, transferred to her school, and Emily has a big crush on him.
Luke comes from a family of vampires, that nobody knows and just moved into a castle where Emily lives. The following day, Emily was daydreaming about Luke during her Math class. Her teacher, Ms. Darkkat, was glaring at her, while Emily stares outside on the dripping rain. Everytime it rains, Emily just wants to go out, jump all around, and having the time of her life. Her dream went really well, when the bell rang. The class stood up, almost simultaneously, and so did Emily, but Ms. Darkkat called her. Emily went in-front of her desk slowly and asked, "Everything alright? I am just worried about you, because you have changed since yesterday. The whole period, you just look outside, and think about something, while smiling. You are not that kind of a student. Usually, you are participating and such," Ms. Darkkat talked to Emily worriedly, while Emily listened.
xxxxxxxx"Is there any problem, Emily?"
xxxxxxxx"No, ma'am! Everything's all fine!"
xxxxxxxx"Great, just come talk to me, if you have problems. Okay?" Ms. Darkkat said. Emily nodded, and went directly to the door, where Tina is waiting.
xxxxxxxxWhile walking at the hallway, Emily bumped into Luke and the novels she's carrying fell down. Luke bent to pick them up and gave it to Emily. Emily glared into his shining eyes that melted her and said, "Thank you,"smiling. Luke slightly grinned, and gave her a wink, and looked at one on Emily's novels.
xxxxxxxx"So, you like reading too?" he asked.
xxxxxxxx"Yes. That's what I do during my leisure time," Emily replied, slowly while smiling.
xxxxxxxx"Well, I'll have to go, and give you guys some privacy!" Tina said while slowly walking away.
xxxxxxxx"What novel do you like?" Luke asked.
xxxxxxxx"The Old Mermaid's Tale!" Emily replied.
Luke got stuck staring at Emily's eyes, and after a moment, "Cool! I love reading that novel too! So dramatic," then he continued. "See you tomorrow?" slight pause while making a confused face asking for Emily's name.
xxxxxxxx"Emily, Emily Lewis" Emily said, and giggled after. Her english accent made her words seem thoughtful for Luke.
xxxxxxxx"Emily, what a wonderful name. It's reminding me of a hilarious joke! Oh! What's the fastest way to a woman's heart?" Luke asked
Emily gave him a thinking face, then did not came up with an answer.
"An axe!" Luke said, laughing by himself. "I gotta go," Luke walked away, and went to his locker, leaving Emily speechless.
