Okay my brother and I are having a private tournament in about a week and I need to have three teams prepared. I have two done and am working on the third but I wanted some opinions on by ev placement and item choices. And maybe even some help with the last team as well. The third team is for a double battle so I need pokemon that can work well with each other. Anyway I'll list what I have so far and maybe I can get some opinions before I actually raise my pokemon.

First team. Sandstorm.

Evs: 4Hp/252 Atk/252 Spe

Donphan - Adament
stealth rock
sandstorm
assurance
Evs: 52 Hp/252 Atk/204 Def

Golem-impish
Roar
sndstorm
stone edge

Evs: 252 Hp/4 Atk/ 252 Def

Ok if you're shooting for a Sandstorm team then you want your lead to be Hippowdon. Since it's ability is Sand Stream, it whips up a sandstorm without having to use up a move slot which can be used for other helpful moves. I'd also say lose the Encore and Spikes on Cacturn and replace it with Substitute and Swords dance.

Extreme Speed
Evs: 120Hp/152 Atk/236 Spe

Breloom, Adament, Poison heal, Toxic orb

This team is a little more versitile and contains some of my non-rock faves.

Your second team should do much better than your first.

Metagross: Lose Iron head and Zen head butt. Replace them both with Earthquake and Bullet punch.

Flygon: Keep it's moves but for the last slot put in either Fire Blast/Stone Edge/ or U-Turn.

Tyranitar: I see you're running the Mixtar setup. Tyranitar can do well with special attacks with a base Sp. Att of 95. But its base 134 attack makes it more versatile as a physical attacker. I'd suggest using : Crunch, Dragon Dance, Stone Edge, and Fire Punch. And for EVs go with 252 att 252 speed and 4 hp.

Breloom: Lose Facade and give it Substitute.

Thanks for your help. I'll look into these changes.

Yep as he said about the Breloom Substitute is a much better move than Facade.
Start off with a Spore, then substitute and your toxic orb will heal you to max anyway, then Focus punch them to death, since they cant break your hit while they are asleep and they cant break it if they for some reason woke up and hit your sub. 3nodding
Its basically a win/win situation. Only issue I see is being outrun and beat in 1 shot. Or they switch out the sleeping Pokemon, while the Sleep Clause is on. sweatdrop

Well these pokemon are just to battle with my brother and his friends and we usually don't have any rules, however they usually fear my breeding pokemon. I usually end up tricking them into lv. 5 battles where they must face my head smashing Nidorans and pyscho shifting murkrow. sometimes even flame wheeling rattatas. but it's all good cause I usually get wiped out by their legends.
