Starseed gathering was the Negaverse business, and business was booming lately. Youma attacks were on a rise and every agent was storming out into the open without a hint of fear in the name of the queen. Hel was more then happy to join the chaos. Every few days she would go out roaming the city to gather a few seeds, so far she had collected probably 3 good seeds in a little under a week trying to pick 'healthy' targets if that even mattered. She wasn't sure the difference between the young, the old, the fit, and the sick. They all powered youma and that was the point.

So she gave a final jerk, the dying man gasping as the starseed was plucked form his chest glowing softly in the early hours of the night bathing her in an unearthly green glow as she crouched over the mans form admiring her prize.

Hel wasn't the only one admiring the newly-stolen starseed. Perched up above, Foramen's golden gaze lingered on the shining crystal. He'd been out on patrol when he'd spotted the girl in red. Strange that her outfit looked like a senshi, but her actions were clearly those of the Negaverse (or himself). He was intrigued, and that didn't often happen in regards to other people. So he'd crouched on the roof up above, peering down and trying to determine the process one used to rip a starseed out of a living human.

Deciding he wasn't going to get his answers by just sitting there, he shifted and clucked his tongue like he was admonishing a child. "Now isn't that a little naughty? Good little senshi aren't meant to go around ripping out starseeds. People might think you were working for the enemy."

The darkness combined with the fact that Hel was crouching away from him prevented Foramen from noticing the gaping hole in Hel's own chest.

Foramen leapt off the roof, landing a few metres behind the senshi in red. "Why don't you hand that over and we'll all pretend this never happened?"

She had just started to rise up from the cooling corpse as a voice caught her attention from above, whoever it was they clearly were a senshi and picked the wrong rooftop to be peeking over from.

"Now what makes it so naughty? Who are you to judge me so quickly you haven't even given me a proper hello." Slowly she stood turning to face him, a light coat of ash trailling in her movements as she faced him. "Perhaps dear, you should be a good girl, and walk away now before I add your sparkling seed to my collection."

Though the light was dim, Foramen could make out a slightly red tint in her chest, something seeming to reflect the light of the starseed that he could not place as they stared one another down. "Besides what would you do with this," she said with a smirk, "Do you even know what a starseed is capable of?"

This was a puzzle alright. Looked like a senshi, spoke like a Negaverse Lieutenant. Foramen made no move to step closer, but he also ignored the girl's advice to leave.

"Hmm, I'll stay where I am, thanks. You wouldn't be the first person to try for my starseed, though the others weren't fellow senshi." It hadn't occurred to Foramen that senshi might attack one another. Sure, he had no love for the other senshi, but he wasn't about to start picking fights with them (well, maybe he could beat up Andeon just a little).

"Do you even know what a starseed is capable of?" the senshi in red asked.

Foramen's eyes lit up. This. This was what he wanted to know. "I just like them because they're shiny," he said facetiously. "But why don't you enlighten me?"

Looked like a Senshi, spoke like a Lieutenant, had she ever had a clue Foramen thought this she would have corrected him that she spoke more like a Captain.

"Suite yourself, as you said they weren't Senshi, and I'd be hard-pressed to ever call me a 'fellow' Senshi. I don't typically talk to those Senshi who associate with bloody executioners like Kunzite." In the back of her mind she saw it, the jet black coffin that Beryl had gestured to during the meeting, they killed their own for thinking differently that was reason enough to never go back knowing a sword would be aimed at her heart.

"Well they do glow such lovely shades," she smiled as she stepped aside leaning ever so slightly to gesture towards the corpse behind her. "Surely you're smart enough to know what our friend here is demonstrating yes? With out a Starseed you die, or enter a coma, but typically you end up like him."

Besides stepping to the side Hel made no gesture to attack, no, something in her eyes seemed to hint at something a little more, she almost seemed curious.... either that or she would enjoy ripping her starseed from her chest for being a sarcastic little brat.

"Kunzite?" Foramen frowned. Oh yes, he had a vague memory of a girl in a white uniform with a sword at the first 'all senshi' meeting. Astraea-luna had seemed torn between hating and approving of the cold girl. Foramen hadn't cared much either way. "Oh, right. Her."

He raised an eyebrow at the dying man behind Hel. "You don't think that counts towards making you a bloody executioner? Not that I care, personally, but it seems a little hypocritical."

Now that Hel was standing and moving around, Foramen's attention was caught by something odd about Hel's chest. Besides an odd red tint, there seemed to be an area of darkness that couldn't be attributed to dim lighting. He frowned. "Pardon me for asking, but is there something wrong with your chest?"

Maybe the Lunar Court didn't talk much about Kunzite, whoever this Senshi was, they didn't seem at all to care about Kunzite who so many Nega agents feared.

Casually she gestured to the body again, "A valid point but a few eggs need to be broken to make an omelet once in a while, the difference is he was useless except for his starseed, when Kunzite killed Nova she killed one of your own." She was odd, she didn't seem to care about anything she said relating to Kunzite killing Nova, maybe she didn't care at all?

"My chest? Ah yes... my starseed," her smile was soft, maybe sad? Most likely not a grim smile as she held the dead mans starseed a bit higher to show the gaping hole in her chest and the red corrupted starseed inside.

"You know your a strange one? Your not trying to save this man, your not attacking me, so... lets make a deal. If a foolish Senshi like yourself wants to learn about starseeds you have to earn it."

She started to grin tossing the starseed once in the air before slipping it into a what little space her corset offered against her chest. "NANANA, COME FORTH!"

With the Youma called it would only be seconds before the beast would show it's self. "If you can stop my Youma, you can have this starseed, and maybe I'll tell you more."

She grinned, "The alternative, is you die and I harvest your starseed."

A dark shadow curled behind the hooded senshi, before it’s large wings spread out. As it’s eyes peeled open, a sliver of bright, glowing green, before bursting into two large orbs. “NA-NA-NA!” It shrieked, sounding as if it was announcing the arrival of a super hero instead of the villainous monster it was. The massive bat leaned down alongside the corrupted senshi, gigantic ears turning as it looked to the other senshi and grinned it’s fanged smile. “Nanana get treat. Nanana get real nice treat now, right? This treat smells good. Real good. Better good.” The intense smell of the senshi starseed was enough to make any youma water, but instead of smacking it’s lips, the creature clacked it’s narrow mouth together into a small grin and curled the claws on either wing into the pavement. “Nanana likes.”

While Nanana was all for leaping out and chomping on the other senshi, it was now under orders. Who knew if his mistress would want to play a while longer with his food before he got to have a turn? “Mistress lets me have?” It questioned in a high screech of it’s voice. “Save important bits for you.”

It was her first time summoning the Youma, she had to admit; it was pretty kick a**. Though a bit loud to have a bat monster manifest behind ones head hollering and hooting for blood. "Nanana will get a treat, only if it does a good job." She held up the starseed she had plucked from the man to prove her word to be true. "If you loose she gets the starseed." Slowly she reached up running a finger along the Youma's jaw. "Yes you may have her, and do save the important parts, we can't let so much power go to waste."

Surely a senshi starseed could fuel a small troop of Youma, all the more reason to make sure this fight went over well. "So then, Senshi you know the rules, fight." With that she stepped aside leaving her Youma free to charge.

Nova? Nova... Foramen pondered the name. It sounded familiar. Someone had mentioned it. Except... wasn't Nova on the senshi side? Not the Negaverse? So why would Hel care at all? And why was she assuming Foramen cared if one or more other senshi got bumped off - it wasn't like Foramen bothered putting on a humanitarian act. Such musings were interrupted by the arrival of a large... bat.

Foramen raised an eyebrow. A giant, ugly bat. That talked. Oh yes, fun times were clearly here. Goddamn it. Ah well, Foramen could at least console himself that there was a starseed in this for him. Reason enough to play along, rather than just high-tail it out of there to avoid the hassle.

"Rules?" he scoffed to Hel. "Kill or be killed, I assume?" Apart from that, anything went in these battles, from Foramen's experience. At least this bat didn't seem overly smart.

"Alright, ugly, let's get this over with," Foramen gestured at the youma.

While Nanana could never pass an Algebra test, let alone recite his ABCs, he was smart enough in one field. It was a good thing that this was the only field he was being graded on, as killing and taking starseeds were the only reason to have a youma around. Something as hideous and not proving much as a conversationalist wasn’t kept around to watch movies on a Saturday night.

Nanana didn’t mind this, as he quite enjoyed his only job, and happily turned his neck to let his new mistress brush her fingers against the short, oily fur on it’s body. “Nanana likes.” With what could probably pass for a grin, the creature flexed it’s wings as Hel stepped away, giving a clear shot of the other senshi. The only thing it needed was permission, something he didn’t much care to ask in the first place, but with that minor grievance out of the way, it was playtime!

“Alright, tasty! We now play.” It shrieked, and the creature heaved up and shot up into the night sky. For it’s size, it was incredibly agile and quick in the sky as it shot about. It’s dark body blended into the backdrop of shadows. If it wasn’t for the blur of it’s green eyes, it would have been invisible to the naked eye. Instead, it shot about, moving around the senshi, a gust of wind against the elbow and then the back showing where it had been, but not where it would be. Then, done with messing around, it went for the senshi’s side. A good hit of it’s large body would be enough to topple the senshi over or at least stun it, IF the other was slow enough to not notice in time.

For Hel there was little to do now but simply step aside and enjoy the show, if things looked to easy for the Senshi she would step in, but for now it seemed like a fair match till they knew her power. "Exactly dear, live or die simple as that."

So she watched standing atop a pile of crates to get a better view as the bat darted about taunting the Senshi, even she could barely see it, but she was sure Nanana would get the job done well enough.

Foramen swore as the youma took to the air, immediately near-impossible to see against the night sky. Standing still, craning his neck to try and locate the beast in the air, he felt exposed, easy prey. But there was no point running around trying to avoid something he couldn't see - he needed to be able to attack the youma and that wasn't possible if he was acting like a chicken with its head cut off.

He spun when a gust of air buffeted his elbow. Again when a torrent of air struck his back. His eyes narrowed, sure he'd seen a blur of green streak by that time. A smirk slowly stretched across his lips, as he now kept frantic watch for that same blur of green.

Almost too late, he saw it approaching from one side. Diving out of the way, Foramen received a clip on his arm, but was able to roll to his feet and turn in the direction the youma had gone. His arm stung, and he thought he felt something dripping down it. It was ignored, Foramen considering himself lucky as that could have been much worse if he hadn't noticed the youma's tell-tale eyes in time.

Golden eyes darted between the streak of green and a line of trash cans and debris laying in the alley way. He wasn't sure how much damage any of it would do to a speedy, flying, oversized bat, but Foramen wasn't the type to just stand there and let himself be attacked.

"Vanishing Rift, Slice!" At a gesture from his arm, the trash cans and debris disappeared into a rift. Focusing on the green blur up in the air, Foramen opened the other end of the rift five metres or so above it. Now if only it wasn't too fast to avoid all of the objects raining down...

At no point had he lost awareness of Hel's eyes on him. Foramen could only be thankful that, so far, she was keeping her word and leaving the battle between himself and the youma.
