Thunder crackled in the distance and the sound of heavy rain drops hit the ground. The edges of the lakes overflowed and there were puddles that were huge. Many lions were snuggled into their dens during this rainy and stormy night. There were a lot of lions who were sleeping staying out of the rain staying safe from the lighting and the thunder. Most lions stayed out of the land when the gods opened up the skies for the rain to visit. Except one.
With the sound of more thunder crackling there was also the sound of giggling, and splashing. Miw-sher, kitten what ever you wanted to call her was happy being able to play around in the rain. She splashed from place to place, the mud speckling on her ankles and chest and she was soaked her hair heavy with rain. But she was happy jumping from puddle to puddle. She was a odd lioness you could say. Well right now she looked like an odd lioness but she was happy. She loved being able to paly when she got the chance even though she was an older lioness. She still acted like a cub when she got the chance.
She laughed again as she started to trot by a den, stopping in the front of it as she started to splash in a large puddle in front of it. She heard the rain start to crash down harder but she didn't care! Her coat was starting to get ruined by the darker color of the mud. She knew there was no point of sotpping and cleaning it off when shewas having a good time. Her mom was going to be a little mad when she got back home and trailed mud into it. She didn't care though. Not now anyway.

As the lightening flashed it lit up the whole den and Rahisi watched in aw of the beautiful bolt that flashed from the cloud to the ground with instant speed. The lightening was his favorite to watch. Anytime he spotted a lightening storm on the plains he loved to stop and watch from the top of a termite mound or a large boulder. Lightening had always intrigued him and tonight was no exception to the amazement he felt.
In this terrintial downpour the last thing he was ever expecting to see was another lion cross his path. However as a new lightening bolt crossed the sky a lioness bounded in front of the entrance of the den he occupied. To Rahisi's suprise she seemed tremendously happy to be out in such harsh weather. He wasn't concerned about her mood for very long however as he got a good look at her under all the mud and muck she was covered in. Playing in the rain in front of the den he occupied was an extremely hot lioness. He could not believe his luck as he jumped inwardly wth joy.
For a few moments he was silent just watching her play. He didn't want to startle her out of her fur by appearing all of a sudden but he was not going to just let her bound away without a shot at her. He moved forward slowly towards the entrance hoping she would notice him before he made it all the way to her.

Miw giggled again as she splashed again creating a bigger splash then the ones before. At heart she was such a cub at times she got some weird looks at times but she really didn't care about them! She was having more fun then them. If she wasn't doing things like this then she was pulling pranks on others. She wasn't going on epic adventures as much. Or at least one thing was for sure she wasn't taking epic adventures to 'fight monsters' or to 'find treasure'... Well she was some times but the point was it wasn't as much as when she was a cub.
She cared mostly about fun and she felt that many others should too. She paused as she felt eyes on her, some of the mud started to trail off of her chest and she flicked her hair out of her eyes hoping that it would stay out of her face. Or at least stay out of her face for a little bit or at least until the rain decided that it was going to fall back on to her face. She didn't like the male staring, he could have at least said something.
She started her dance again this time with a smirk on her face. With a flick of her paw she splashed some water at him before laughing. "Staring isn't nice!" She called out over the loud sounds of the rain. She started to laugh again before smirking slightly. "Don't you know that?" She shouted again, she danced her way into the den before laughing as she looked around water dripping off of her body. "Why are you hiding from the rain?" She asked curiously as she turned back toward it acting as if getting soaking wet wasn't anything at all.

She certainly noticed him. Rahisi's face and bits of his mane now had water splotched on them from the lioness. He wasn't phased by the water but her questions caught him hard. He stuttered a moment as she came into the den with him but a moment later he retorted to her questions with ease.
"I'm sorry for staring. Your beauty caught me off guard. I thought I might possibly be imagining your lovely face." Rahisi flashed a flirtacious smile at her before he turned his gaze to the world outside of the den.
"I wouldn't say I was hiding from the rain... More like enjoying the lightening from a safe position. I love to watch lightening. It's the gods smiting lions who have angered them. So lovely to watch but I'd rather not be the one they smite."

Miw glanced at the male then let out a small laugh at seeing the water on his coat. She was already amused at this 'game' that she was starting. She was curious in what kind of amusement she was going to get out of this night. Or for this manner she was going to get amusement out of this interaction with this male. She lifted her paw and brushed her bangs out of her eyes then grinned.
"I'm not that attractive." She snorted slightly before looking down at her coat. "Especially when I'm covered in mud. Thank you though." She giggled at him again before she stuck a paw out of the den washing out some of the mud before looking at him and laughing once more. "Of course you're hiding from the rain. Everyone is hiding from the rain right now. even the buggies are."
She started to walk toward the back of the den before sniffing at one of the rocks and laughing, she poked her nose on one before walking back toward the male. "See?" She smirked as she wiggled her nose showing him the lady bug that was sitting on the end of it. "I told you." She wiggled her nose again encouraging it to fly off. Her eyes adapted to the dark as she watched it fly away. "I told you. She nodded again before wandering toward the water a little more.
"I highly doubt that you have gotten into so much trouble that the gods want to smite you." She giggled thinking about her grandfather. She was related to a god, she told him the gods would only hurt you if you made them really mad. She looked around before laughing bouncing forward and slapping a paw on the male's side. "Tag!" She laughed before she took off bouncing into the rain, and excited look was on her face. She was hoping that she could get him to play.

Rahisi didn't agree with the lioness at all about not being beautiful and he definitely didn't agree with not being beautiful while covered in mud. To Rahisi the mud made her even more attractive. In his mind dirty is hot but he wouldn't tell another soul that little quirk.
His gaze followed her as she moved to the back of the den. At first he was confused as to what she was doing with her nose to a rock but as she came back toward him he saw the bug on her nose and grinned. "Ah I see there are many hiding from the storm." He replied as the small bug flew away into the darkness.
Once the bug had disappeared he looked back to her and smiled at her giggle. Her voice was like a beautiful bell and it made him feel very warm within. He became lost within the warmth for a good few moments but a slap to his side brought him back to reality. He was suprised by the slap but even more suprised at what the female yelled out. She wanted to play tag?! He hadn't played that game since he was a cub but perhaps this was her way of flirting and he wasn't about to let her get away without flirting back. A big grin floated across his mouth and he bounded out into the rain after her.

Miw-Sher giggled slightly as she paused looking back at the male trying to figure out why he wasn't following her at first. She flicked her tail around a little more sticking her tongue out for a moment to lap up some of the water that was falling from the sky the water was nice thing to have when she was thirsty. On top of that she wasn't hot the water was cool and she was enjoying this a lot.
Her eyes lit up again as she saw the male start to head in her direction, she loved to see others start to play with her, there was many who thought Miw was a strange creature and was even more strange for doing things like running around in the rain playing tag with strangers. But she thought she was perfectly fine, she was having more fun then many other lions had. she was in touch with her inner child unlike many other lions.
She giggled and started to trot faster as he started to come after her. She knew where she was leaning him on top of that. She lifted her head and squinted as she ran checking to see how far away the lake was.

Flirting with a female was fun no matter how it was done but this was even better to Rahisi. Playing chase in the rain with a female. Oh he was so all over it.
He didn't care where they were going or how long it took him to catch her. He wasn't giving up till he caught her. He was young and strong and ready to run through the whole storm just for her. He'd run for any girl. If she was willing so was he.
In the downpour he was almost blind due to the rain. He was lucky that she was almost completely white or he might have lost her and that would have been a trajedy.
He was soaked now. His mane was no longer fluffed up all nice and pretty and his furr was no longer fluffed either. Every muscle he had was shown and it was very clear just how little he got to eat but he was still healthy just kind of skinny in the mid-section.

Miw giggled as she looked forward again. Sure it was hard to see but to tell the truth she was so used to doing crazy things and of course like this she loves to do crazy things. She did this so many times that she was used to be being able to see in the rain. She flicked her hair out of her eyes then flicked her hair once more and then moved a little closer to the lake.
She giggled then looked back at him and grinned waiting for him to get a little closer before diving into the water she swam a little more then stopped and went up to the top of the water and looked over to the male with the large grin still on her face. She dived under again enjoying the sound of the rain hitting the water. She dove back up and giggled some.

Rahisi had no idea a lake was coming up fast. He knew well he was catching up to the female until she disappeared from sight. He was going to fast to stop himself so when the lake came up he went off the edge running.
He landed hard on the waters surface and was underwater before he knew what happened. He paniced immediately and clawed for the surface of the water. He broke the surface with a gasp and took in several deep breaths before he was calm enough to feel upset.
He felt he'd been tricked but he knew she'd gone in too. He glanced around himself wondering exactly where she was and if he'd be able to ambush her before she ambushed him.

Miw pushed herself to the water surface and looked over at him. She giggled slightly before she started to walk to the edge of the water and sat down at the shores. She giggled a little more as she did. She was amused that he was so surprised that the male was so confused with her jumping into the water. She was very happy at this. She liked to play tricks like this. Well it wasn't exactly a trick to her she was trying to make sure she was having the most fun that she could.
She shook her coat before giggling as she looked at him. "Come on now! I know you've played tag before!" She giggled at the idea. she hadn't met many lions who hadn't played tag before. She leaned forward a little more and giggled again. This was exciting to her, she was hoping that he was at least enjoying himself...
Well if he wasn't then one thing was for sure she was enjoying herself.
