Here, I'll start. Anyone love Kimi ni Todoke? There's an anime and manga on it. It's the sweetest manga I've ever read. Not only that but their expressions are hilarious sometimes.

Hi! Yay! Finally someone else in this guild.
P.S. I'm technically reinasama1 as well. Fullmoon is my main account.
I've read both of them and I still love them after years of having read them. You'll love Kimi ni Todoke and 'crazy for you' if you love those two mangas as well.
What part of Furuba and Ouran High School Host Club do you love the most?
I love the plot of furuba and the illustrations of OHSHC the most. They're both so detailed and good that I'm kind of disappointed with the other works that the authors created.

OHSHC is just so funny biggrin and its still serious at the same time 3nodding FB is just so sweet and the characters histories are actually explored in detail. Thats what I hate about western stuff, the characters have no history and their all too "perfect"

I KNOW!! heart Furuba was one of the first mangas to make me tear up. The story is so well rounded. It has romance, tragedy, family, friends, school, some action, and comedy.
I KNOW!! People won't believe me when I say that western teen novels are so shallow. Did you notice that even at the library, more than half of the teen books there are all about s*x, drugs, partying, infatuation, fashion .etc. ? I do love Gossip Girl the show (because of their fashion), but I don't love the original novel series.
Maybe we can post our favourite pics/parts from mangas/anime in this thread.

I'm SO SO SO SO SORRY that I took so long to reply. I'm on an exchange program and I'm having a hard time keeping in contact with people. Not that the program is extremely fun and that I don't care about others.... it's that this school packs our schedule. Lol.
I love that Furuba pic as well. Lol. Don't you love how many mangaka like the one for furuba, are able to create such lovely fashion design? It would be awesome if they became fashion designers too right?
P.S. The uniform looks lovely and so does everyone in the pic.

yeahs smile theres a shop near me that sells loads of anime clothing but its all really expensive sad yeahs they look kl smile
Its funny, i look like tohru in the weekdays and haru at the weekend xD
But our uniform doesnt look nice on us sad

It's okay. Awww cool. Anime clothing? I only have these stores that sell Japanese and Korean stationary, toys, ceramics, little statues, bedding, .etc. .etc. It's like a department store or variety store except it's expensive. It's probably because it costs a lot to transport these products over to Canada and because there's less competition..... The stores are called 'Smart Maple' and 'The Ones'.
Lol wow. That's a huge fashion change. From innocent to BAD. Joking. Haru is cool. Wait, just to make sure, Haru is the guy in the photo with white hair right? I need to make sure because it's been a couple of years since I've read Furuba.

lolz, i dont pick my uniform sad my own clothes are usually either Haru (yh with white hair ^-^) or Rin (Haru's gf) smile

Wow. That's awesome. I can kind of see your fashion style through your avatar. Uh... as for mine.... THAT'S A COINCIDENCE I TELL YOU! xd My fullmoon one is dressed preppy only (like Harry Potter sytle) because I was celebrating Hufflepuff day at the Hufflepuff thread. blaugh
Aww... We don't have 6 ft under. We used to have a cosplay store at the mall but I think it ran out of business. That, or it's really hidden because the mall is a Chinese/Korean/Japanese mall with tons of boutiques that are REALLY SMALL. Smaller than the average north american boutique. They almost look like cubicles and all the aisles look the same so it's hard to find a particular store without a map.

lolz, my parents hate how i dress soooooo much. my dad wanted a son and my mum wants a girly prep type.

we have no japanese stores sad 6ft under is the only one and really small razz its also only been here since january

My favorite anime? Hm...there's a lot of anime I like. One of my favorite anime is Axis Powers Hetalia. I like it because I think it's funny, and watching the anime actually does help me sleep at night if I see and/or read something really scary.

@Sweet Unlucky: Oh well, our parents have no control over what we wear... unless it's something overly ridiculous then I think we shouldn't be wearing it (.i.e. clothes with deliberate holes everywhere). I also think that the reason why parents and children disagree so much is because we don't understand why they want things that way and they don't understand us either. It's when we're older that we start to understand each other more but it also depends on the people themselves. *shrugs* I think that this is some teenage to young adult phase. Lol. Maybe we'll grow out of it. My parents and I tend to disagree a lot recently. Occassionally we just need to take a break from each other to get some time to think things through ourselves. Notice how I put occassionally... Lol. We can't always run away from our problems. Sorry... over analyzing stuff.
MALL????? What word do you use in England? Shopping centre? We use that word for smaller 'malls'. Heheh.
Psssh.. At least you can cherish that specific japanese store. Things turn all cliché and overrated if you have too many of them. Besides, small stores are really cute. biggrin
@hokuto uchiha: LOL. That's a really good idea! I listen to music to make myself fall asleep when I'm scared at night but I think watching anime is an even better idea! icon_whee.gif Everyone looks so happy!!
