What a beautiful day! No clouds in sight, with the sun shining high and bright in the sky. Chayse was happy. That meant she could go out onto the fields and play and explore as much as she wished. Who knows? Maybe she'd even find a friend to play with today. Hopefully there would be other soquili out enjoying the day as well.
She left her home, and made her way through a quick forest path to a meadow nearby with a small stream flowing along the edge. It wasn't too far from her home, so it only took a few minutes to get there.Preston followed along at her heels, sometimes running ahead of her to chase a butterfly or random rodent who had been scurrying along the path.
"So Chayse, what are we going to do today?" he asked her."Who knows. I'm just excited to get away from the teepee." she replied to the little mountain lion."Yeah, me too. It's been a while since we got away and had some fun."

It was definitely a beautiful day! The bright blue skies in contrast the the bright sun made Ariston grin with happiness. He loved the bright sky, and he loved the bright sun! It made this day to run even better. His eyes briefly closed, enjoying the warm sun on his face as sweat slowly ran down the side of his face. His muscles flexed and retracted with every long stride he made. The stallion had no clue as to where he was going, except that in his mind the word, "RUN!" ran rampant in his mind.
His eyes reopened, revealing his golden amber eyes that matched the sun's brightness. His eyes quickly caught the sight of a bright pink, and his course quickly changed to run towards the bright pink mare. A big grin broke out on his face, almost making the stallion look a little goofy, but he was happy nonetheless. "Oh, hi!" He grinned, not finding saying 'Hi!' to a random stranger awkward at all. His heart was still pounding after the strenuous workout, but the stallion did not seem fatigued at all. He was too busy being happy about the new bright colored mare he found.

It seemed perfect, maybe a little too perfect, like something someone could find in a doodle, or among the world of some sort of "cavity sweet" tale for children, and well, Nikita wasn't feel all the optimistic of sweet herself. Really in her head it almost seemed downright sickening in a sense to see everyone smiling and prancing around without a care in the world. Maybe that churning feeling wasn’t really her lunch about to be hurled, but most of a feeling of envy and jealousy, or maybe being awake during the day for once was just making her head spin at the moment. Whatever it was, it just wasn’t dealing well with Nini.
Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, the orange coated mare steadily continued her way to who knew where. She made sure to stick close to the shade of the trees just for comfort sake, and speaking of comfort, there is was, the unmistakable sound of her brother’s voice. “What could he have met up with this time?”
An amused smirk made its way to Nikita’s lips as she hurried her pace to investigate, which might has been a bad idea since her eyes seemed to burn at the added brightness of the scene.

Preston stiffened at the scent of other Soquili's in the meadow. "We have company," he said, a quiet growl in his voice. He was quite protective of Chayse.
Chayse tensed at the words from Preston, but as the orange male approached her and said hello, all tension eased out of her. Most enemies didn't come up with a friendly smile on their face and a chipper "hi" at first meeting.
"It's okay, Pres," she whispered to him, and then turning to the stallion, said in a normal voice. "Well, hello. Are you enjoying the warm sunshine today? I just had to get out and stretch my legs and find something fun to do. To waste this wonderful day would be a shame." She gave him a brilliant smile.
A warm breeze started to blow through the meadow, stirring up dandelions. Little white fluffy seeds blew on the breeze tickling their noses. Chayse felt a sneeze coming on, and turned her head to keep from sneezing on the stallion. When she did, she caught sight of another mare coming towards them. She looked a lot like the stallion. "Oh. We have more company. Is she a relative of yours?" she asked the stallion. The tickling in her nose had went away.
"By the way, I'm Chayse, and this is Preston," she said, nodding towards the lion.
Preston had moved to sit beside her front legs, and leaned his shoulder over on her front legs, propping himself up. He looked between the orange stallion and mare, giving no interest in either of them, and proceeded to busy himself with cleaning his paws.

Ariston's attention shifted from the mare before him to the feline by her. He just grinned to the him before returning his attention to the mare. "Of course! I love the sunshine." He was smiling so hard the edges of his eyes were creasing.
The warm breeze blew by him and some of the dandelion seeds stirred by his legs, tickling him. He laughed a bit, and tried to shake the feeling off his legs. "We do?" He turned around to see the very distinguishable color orange that is character of his father. "Nini!" He exclaimed happily as he ran to her. He bounded about her happily, just as he would as a young colt, and quickly nipped her. "What are you doing all alone?!" He asked, trying to act as if he was a big brother being protective of his 'little' sister even though they were close in age.
