Welcome to the Gryffindor Residential Area.
In the only all Wizarding Town in Britain, is a town called Hogsmeade.
On the outskirts of the town are four Residential Areas. One named for every Hogwarts Founder.
As you walk toward the Gryffindor Residential Area, you could tell by the many different styles of homes and shops that you passed, that Hogsmeade is, almost, just as old as Hogwarts, itself.
As you make your way further into Godric’s Hollow, you start to see the different style of homes from every different period in time. You wander the streets until you see a statue. At first, it looks like nothing but, a war memorial but, as you get closer you can see the statue starts to change into three people: a man with untidy hair and glasses, a woman with long hair and a kind, pretty face, and a boy sitting in his mother’s arms. As you get closer for a better look you realize that it’s a statue of James, Lily, and Harry Potter. From all you have heard of Harry Potter and his legendary scar, it felt strange to see this statue with baby Harry, who had no lightening shaped scar on his forehead. As you slowly walk away, the statue turns back into a war memorial; slowly the faces fade back to an obelisk covered with names.
You continue to wander until you finally find your new home and enter.

~Before entering someone's home, you have to "knock" on their homes door. For more information, please see the Town Hall.
~Non-residents who are visiting Godric's Hollow must send an owl announcing their arrival, then depending upon the Rules of that Home, you may enter after you have "knocked" or you have to wait for one of the Home's Owners to "answer" you and "let" you in.
~Remember to use brackets when having a conversation that does not involve role-play.

Historical Houses:
While walking down to your home, you see several homes that look like they haven’t been occupied in years. One in particular stands out to you, just like the statue, at first it looked like every other home in Godric’s Hollow, that’s when it happened, the home that was there now was obviously covered by a Fidelius Charm because, there in front of you the home turned to ruins before your eyes. You could see that the home was once a cottage just like the homes around it once but, now half of the second floor looked like it had been blown off. The hedge had grown wild after thirty years of not being cut, ruble still lay scattered on the grass, that was now, past waist high and the whole home seemed to be covered in dark ivy. All at once you realize that this was the home of Lily, James, and Harry Potter. The home that Lily and James had perished in, James trying to hold off Voldemort, Lily begging for Harry to be spared, and Harry having had been spared from dieing even though the Killing Curse had been cast on him and backfired onto Voldemort. Then, trying to get closer to the home you put your hand on the gate that was once white but, was now gray, done by time and not the destruction of the home, all at once, a sign raised out of the ground and up in front of you, which was hard to do considering the thirty years of tangled nettles and weeds. The sign was wood with golden letters upon it, which said:
“On this spot, on the night of 31 October 1981,
Lily and James Potter lost their lives.
Their son, Harry, remains the only wizard
Ever to survived the Killing Curse.
This house, invisible to Muggles, has been left
In its ruined state as a monument to the Potters
And as a reminder of the violence
That tore apart their family.”
All around the sign was years of graffiti, some of it was carved into the wood and some of it was written in Everlasting Ink, messages from a time when Voldemort still rained. Messages like: Good Luck, Harry, wherever you are. If you read this, Harry, we’re all behind you! , And Long live Harry Potter. All from a time when the world was different then it is now, from a time when chaos rained, and good seemed to be on its last leg, before Harry Potter had beaten Voldemort. As you retracted your hand the sign returned slowly to the ground and your urge to wander the home, is was now gone and all you really want to do now is return home, to your families and loved ones, and remember all the good times that you have had and will spend with each other. You continue to walk up the street until you finally find your home.
Here is were former Residents Houses reside. Whether they be untouched or well cared for, these homes have quite alot of history between them out of respect for them, we have decided that they should be acknowledged.

Gryffindor Graduate [with honors]
Age 24
Current location: within lot 27 --- Eriena Caden swooped down out of the night sky, landing briskly on two feet. Carefully she swung her left leg over her broom and took in a deep breath. The air was chill, but refreshing, and brought a slight smile over her face. Standing her broom upright she looked over her shoulder, her Alma Mater seemed to glimmer as if welcoming her home.
After a moment of reflection, Eriena took to walking down the main road of Hogsmeade, the place seemed to have been frozen in time, the place felt comforting, and it was a good sign that she had picked the right place to move. She was headed to Godric’s Hollow, lot twenty-seven to be exact. Lot twenty-seven really wasn’t a proper name for one’s home, but it would have to do till she could come up with something a bit more… her.
After a good deal of walking to find her new home, there it was, grand looking even in the dead of night. The old Victorian style home had come on the market right as she was making her retirement from the Caerphilly Catapults. The price was right and she had always dream of living in this style of a house, but she had a good deal of work ahead of her.
With that thought in mind she pulled an old looking bronze key out of her pocket, unlatched the front gate, and headed up the stone path, up the stairs, and to the front. She took a deep breath, the reality of all of her life changes seemed to swell up inside her. She looked down at the key one more time before putting it into the key hole and giving it a turn. The lock clicked and she gave the knob a turn.
She was a home owner.
The place seemed to have a smell about it, that smell a house developed throughout ages of a person or family living in it and that smell almost being whipped clean by whatever was used to clean the place up. It wasn’t a bad smell, just… showed the place had been lived in.
She pulled the key out of the door, and then closed it behind herself, turning the lock on the inside. This place was now her home and it was rather intimidating, even more so when she flicked the switch and instead of electrical lighting, gas powered candles of sorts slowly flickered into life.
Quickly she was reminded that she was no longer staying in her small flat, with its electricity, and other Muggle gadgets. A bit of panic started to set in, she hadn’t even thought to ask if she would be able to update the place with electricity. She shook her head, best to leave those thoughts for tomorrow.
Eriena leaned her broom next to the door and adjusted the pack on her back, while moving from room to room. They were all empty, some of the rooms had built in shelves, but that was about it, till she made her way to the kitchen and was stunned.
There stood a cast-iron 8 burner stove! The thing must have not been moved since it was placed in the home! A flutter of new homeowner panic started to rise again and before it could take over she walked out of the kitchen and back down the hall way. She really needed to get some rest before dealing with her new life. Up the stairs she went and picked the first room off the hallway. It was clearly meant to be a study, but for tonight it would due as her bedroom.
she slid her pack off her back and placed it on the floor, taking a seat next to it. She un-zipped the pack and reached her arm inside, trying to be careful not to knock anything over as she searched for her inflatable mattress.
Once found, she laid the thing out on the floor and pulled out her wand muttering an incantation. The inflatable mattress quickly filled with air and the task was done. Reaching into the pack again, Eriena pulled out a pillow and a thick down blanket, laying them on the bed.
Eriena then pulled out a pair of sweat pants, leggings, a red flannel shirt, a thick pair of socks, and started for a toothbrush, but decided she was just too sleepy to care. With that she changed clothes and closed her pack. She looked at her temporary bed and could not wait for sleep to come.
